When we arrived it started, we were told there was no more space. We then said that we would be happy to wait, but suddenly there were several seats available. First we had to wait 30 minutes until someone came to take the orders. The bottle of wine that we ordered was emptied on me when I was pouring it. There was no apology, but the waitress explained to me in a panic that she had been working for 12 hours. What's going on there??!

I was just there to eat but after I had my drink I decided to leave. The reason: Unfortunately, the service was not appropriate for the location and the prices. Although there were many employees, no one came to take my order. After 10-15 minutes I finally asked for the bill and paid for my 7.00 franc coke before I left. No apology received from service and reception staff!

We enjoyed lunch with 1 year old son. The foods were very good and the atmosphere was lovely and cozy. This restaurant is now one of our favorite.

I had dinner on Valentine's Day. The starter, served in a unique manner, was named "Vegan Oyster". The shell was real, while the "oyster" itself was vegan. Honestly, I still have some doubts about this starter: first, the starter is not an actual oyster; second, I wonder where the shells come from. Are the oysters eaten by someone else and then the shells collected to be served to the next diner?

Nice establishment but service is not all there, everything takes a long time.

Valentine's Day... Food was great and so was the show...

The restaurant impresses with its modern, elegant and warm design. A place to feel good. Quality of the food is excellent. I like to go there for mezze. The service team is very friendly, albeit with coordination difficulties and little attention to detail. As is usual for the central location in the middle of the city of Zurich, the prices are at the upper end. It's still worth it!

The ambience would be very nice and the food would be delicious. Unfortunately the service staff leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know why I would tip for such poor service.

The waitress cleared my plate WHILE I was obviously still eating and asked me if I wanted coffee/tea. Because I was actually still eating, I said no, to which she replied that in that case she would bring me the bill. (Nota bene: The restaurant still had more than enough space.) When she brought the bill, she asked me several times for a tip, which is certainly out of the question with such rude service. She then ran away without a word/angry.

20min for a drink & a prosecco. You almost have to catch waitresses to be able to order something. Addendum to criticism is responded to snappily. Underground. Not worthy of the globe. Or are these the effects of austerity measures?

It's a very nice place to have lunch. Or later for a nice drink after work.

We had an absolutely lovely night at the Roofgarden. The service was amazing. Very professional with a personal element which is rare to find these days. we want to say a huge thank you to Raphau (hope I spelt that right) and Nicole for their outstanding service! The food was very delicious as always, the steak, the tartar, the Mezze, really, shout-out to the chefs in the kitchen! we love coming here and the atmosphere in general is always great! Plus, it’s super central and they also have a great selection of wine. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved the atmosphere and design of this roof restaurant. The terrace was closed but I’m sure it’ll be nice when the weather gets better. I loved that it felt warm and fun, specially during these Zurich grey winter days. The service was average, the lady was kind but paid little attention; we ordered extra pita bread and it never came, my husband ordered a coffee and I didn’t but she still brought an expresso. The Hummus was the best I’ve had in a long time but my veal paillard was not very good, the meat stringy and parts too cooked, parts raw. The cafe de Paris sauce and the salad were watery and the thin French fries were all but crispy. Next time I’ll come to the bar which looked like fun even at 2:00 pm. The place itself looks festive, the drinks look amazing, I think it would be a fun place to come to with your girlfriends. I like when places put an effort in bathroom design and in this one I loved the old school separate area to “retouch” Your makeup.

Beautiful restaurant, on the rooftop of Globus, which is a super trendy department store. We had small appetizers since we went at 5pm. The best was the steak tartare and the veal.

We ordered a bottle of wine and when we finished the first glass, unfortunately no one came to refill it, which was very annoying. Unfortunately you always have to ask them, which I think is a shame. the staff would have to be more presenters.

There were 3 of us who had the pleasure of dining in the Roofgarden this evening. The food was bland and cold and the service left much to be desired. Either the waitresses were standing around or we were insulted because we didn't ask "our" waitress to come to the table. As soon as we had finished eating, they wanted to take our plates away. Please improve your hospitality.

Great food, nice atmosphere, horrible service… waiting for a long time even tough there are 4 waitresses and only 10 customers, forgot my drinks, than again forgot the water… and in the end asking „how much?“ to insist for a tip. And then not even saying goodbye when I did not tip them… arrogant attitude

Excellent views of the city of Paris along with the best deer meat I have ever tasted, this was really the first time I have tried deer and I am glad that I did it in a place where the food was delicious. The place is very well decorated, you can see that the atmosphere is of quality, but the service is a little distracted, it would be good to have one more waiter or add a single person who passes through the reception area, since we were waiting for one of the waiters to vacate so that he has the time to serve us and take us to a table. For this reason, I give it 4 stars.

For such a ($$$) restaurant, the staff (kitchen) are very inkompetent......50min. for 4 steaks, vegetables and fries......Restaurant was rather not so busy!

We wanted to have a coffee in the Roof Garden at 2 p.m. today when the lady at reception greeted us in a very unfriendly and stressed manner. She said we would have to wait 10 minutes, but there were several tables available. We then asked her if we could still sit down. She reacted extremely snippy and said we would have to wait another 10 minutes. Because we cannot tolerate this reaction, we left the restaurant. It's a shame that the staff left a bad impression.

We were at the entrance at 2 p.m. today. The receptionist was very unfriendly. She said we should wait 10 minutes even though 3 tables were free. The type of employee doesn't work at all, you can tell us that in a decent tone. Several people noticed. We left again. I don't have to accept something so rude. Especially since the visit was intended to celebrate a birthday.

We were only here for an aperitif drink. The bar is very nice and stylishly decorated. The menu offers a good selection and the cocktails were good. However, my cocktail was marked 19.- on the menu and then cost 21.- on the bill. That should not be. It still worked.

The price-performance ratio is not right. Very small portions and everything (food and drinks!) way too expensive. A pity.

Very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, the food is great and the plates and deco as well. The pumpkin soup and the mushroom pasta were really good. Just the mezzo could have been a bit better, more authentic. But the Location is perfect next to the train station and on top of the Globus shopping mall. Recommended!

We made a reservation at short notice and even though it was full we managed to get a table. We were greeted by name and received excellent service throughout the evening. The fillet was to die for. We will be back. Thanks

During my visit to his establishments, I was very well received. The house cocktails as well as the dishes that I was served were remarkable. The atmosphere is perhaps a little stuffy and noisy, but nothing disturbing. Prices are high, but it's Zurich 😅

After waiting around 30 min in a long queue we finally got a table. There were only two waitresses on a Saturday afternoon in a quite big location with high prices. Having asked the main waiter (maybe the boss) for vegan food he answered quite impolitely and in bad English that there ain't. But salad is vegan, so we took it, together with nice Mezze. Food was nice, but it was a chaos to get the bill, obviously the guy did not tell the waitress (who finally brought us the bill), although we asked him 3 times. All in all it's a pity - nice atmosphere, but poor organization and given the prices are so high I wonder why the restaurant is so poorly staffed.

The interior design of the Roof Garden is undoubtedly cool. But the service is a huge disappointment. We were at three tables on the terrace, in beautiful weather. All three tables got up and left after around 20 minutes, in which not even a waitress came. The employee who allocates the seats doesn't even notice. Afterwards the terrace was empty and no guests disturbed the business.

WOW! Me and my mother have been drinking and eating something with you several times now. We are thrilled with you and your finely selected, coordinated dishes. Your coffee, the cocktails, the mezze, the salad... you have to try it - it's a pleasure on all levels - the staff is also so attentive and loving. It's worth more than one visit :) THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart

The bar is wonderful, on a nice warm day you can sit on the terrace, drink coffee or eat, the service is quick and good-natured. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and my wishes were fulfilled when I made the reservation. The service was excellent. The food was very tasty. The presentation of the dish is amazing. I recommend you visit the restaurant and enjoy your food in a beautiful, quiet environment. I will definitely come again.

I came here for my birthday and the food was good I was happy with my muscles and I didn’t want fries so they made me vegetables as a side which I enjoyed. My husband enjoyed his food as well the mashes were really tasty. The interior is beautiful and the restaurant has a really bright and inviting vibe. The only downside was the service takes a while as the food took quite some time to come and no one comes to check on you at any point.

Great service for a large group

Pretty overrated. The service was bad, we were always forgotten for a long time, we had to pour ourselves the wine, and when we got the bill we even got up because we didn't want to wait that long. The pork tomahawk was of very poor quality, it was tough and didn't taste good. The various mezze plates were ice cold, served straight from the fridge and all tasted very bland. The view from the terrace was great, nothing else would be recommended.

Beautiful rooftop bar with a beautifully decorated interior! They serve delicious cocktails that are their own creations. But consider that it’s definitely on the pricey side for a bar, even for Zurich. Still worth a visit though! I can recommend their drinks “En Forêt” and “Le Jardinier”

What a beautiful evening Service was under stress, understandable given this lack of staff. but still friendly and very attentive. As always, the food is freshly prepared and Thomas' mezze selection is simply unbeatable. I don't understand why other people aren't happy here and reveal it here. It's a shame roof garden team, you're great, keep it up

I'm sorry dear restaurateurs, but the service was so poor, it wasn't even cleared away in the meantime, we were left high and dry. Nobody cared about us anymore. We were 8 people. Eating so-so, the hummus, bread and the falafel, all frozen goods. We were so looking forward to it and were so disappointed! The best thing here, the view over the city...

I was in this bar for the first time yesterday and I have to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! A first class bar in the center of Zurich. 5 min walk from the main station. The ambience was very well done and the lighting and music were adjusted just right over the course of the evening. The service was super friendly and helpful. You can also leave a decent tip there! Special greetings to Viktoria and the boys! I will definitely go there again!

I’m 8months pregnant and waited 10min to be seated / 7 waiters passed without greeting nor letting me know how long it takes. Restaurant was max 30% occupied. What a shame Globus. You could do better. I left after 10min waiting. Horrible service.

We found this bar after a day of walking around Zurich. We definitely weren't dressed for the occasion but were invited in anyway. Unfortunately the outside seating area was closed due to the weather that day but we were sat at a comfortable table inside with nice views to the outside. We got drinks and desserts that were absolutely lovely. The Clover Club cocktail was amazing! The price was to be as expected but worth it for the atmosphere.

I've visited the place a couple of times. The decor and the terrace are really nice and comfortable with a chic feeling. The food is very good, especially the mezze. During our two prior visits to this restaurant our waiter happened to be Ala and the service was incredible. She introduced herself and we were given advice on dishes and wine and attended to where needed, overall the experience was very pleasant. Yesterday (17 Aug) we also went there and it was short of a disaster. Firstly at the entrance we were never given a chance to even say that we've got a reservation, we were greeted by a flood of unuseful information about the flamingo painting (that we didn't ask about) and then were told that they have a living flamingo and we absolutely have to see it (which was actually a statue of a peacock). Then our table was changed multiple times (we wanted to move to the terrace where we actually reserve a place) and only with the 3rd interaction with the waiters who were changing all the time at the beginning we were able to say that we have a reservation on the terrace. Then we were shown a bottle of champagne that we ordered but were told we'll get it once we move to another table (why show it then before?:D ). Then we asked for a menu at least 4 times and got it very late, at least 30mins in after we got the final table. The overall experience was not very pleasant. The food was great! In general it's a great place but the service should be improved.

Today once again I went to enjoy a late afternoon in one of my usual places and that's when I came across some new things. One of them less pleasant, a new chef who must have stayed in the dictatorial era. We were served by Alexandra, an excellent professional but in her shadow was always her chef who, to our displeasure, is intimidating. His arrogance and too intrusive presence completely compromises the good atmosphere, which went from pleasant to dark. The food maintains its quality but I will actually think twice before returning. I assume that the staff renewal is due to the new management, who is not very happy because it seems to me that they left their happiness at the door before joining the service

I organized a hen party and was able to enjoy wonderful service during the preliminary meeting with the evening manager. In the end, all of my wishes were implemented and a group of 9 ladies were made happy. The atmosphere, the food, the service (even the manager was there in person) were 10/10. The bride to be was even spontaneously surprised by the chef with a hen party cake, which was ultimately included in our personal highlight. I would definitely celebrate there again and experience the delicious mezze (which, by the way, filled everyone up) again. Thank you for the successful evening.

Chef de service very unfriendly. We wanted to have a drink for two at 3 p.m. The restaurant/bar was more or less empty. They were rude and told, “No, we don’t have space”.

Nice atmosphere, unfortunately the cherry crumble cake is not made with fresh cherries.

Great rooftop restaurant right in Zurich city center. Location is easily accessible from the main train station and our hotel. Food was good, the ambiance was really nice. Service was superb, and the manager was very friendly. The dinner at Roof Garden was just great for our last night in Zurich to end our Switzerland trip.

Unfortunately, the menu is out of place and fits neither the tasteful and atmospheric, beautiful restaurant nor the demanding ambitions of the house and its customers. Here we have a textbook example of a concept botched by sought-after culinary originality. Urgent need for action! There is a risk of shipwreck, which would be a great shame.
