Not only the views make this place a great spot. Excellent service ( not easy these days), good choice of food on the menu and great quality.

Great view of Bern. In the middle of the city and yet so green. An oasis. The hospitality was impeccable.

This restaurant is located in the Rosengarten park in Bern and offers a wonderful view of the city. On the menu there are both full courses (lunch/dinner) and lighter dishes suitable for an aperitif or snack. I stopped here for a snack: the coffee is quite good while the walnut gipfel is excellent, abundant filling, aromatic and crunchy pastry. Prices are slightly higher than other cafes in Bern but the view of the city makes up for the price. The outdoor terrace is very beautiful

I had a very pleasant experience in this stylish restaurant. For dinner there was delicious ravioli with a rich cheese filling, followed by an exquisite mousse au chocolat cake and an aromatic coffee for dessert. The view of Bern from here was impressive, a real treat for the eyes. The service was attentive and quick, so I didn't have to wait long for my food. Prices are slightly higher but adequately reflect the quality of the food and the overall experience.

The prices cannot be justified based on the view alone. Very average taste, very small portions and very inflexible for children. Service doesn't think ahead.

Food, Service, Location.....everything is perfect. I had course dinner of cheese fondue. It was very good especially dry-cured ham plate is amazing.

First and foremost, the table service by Jennie was so exceptional! We cannot say enough about this and how it made our meal more amazing, she is simply fantastic and will be the main factor when we return next time. As others have said, the view is amazing, the ambience of the glass enclosed terrace with soft lighting is lovely. The food was fresh and served expediently, although I could have had a few more grams of meat on my plate, it was still tasty and I enjoyed it overall.

The view was crazy and the price was crazy! I loved all the views I could see while sitting outside. The quality of all the food was very good, and the server's hospitality was also very good. In particular, the fondue had a cheese flavor that was a notch higher than Cheonggukjang, but the taste was not unpleasant at all and was really good. I think the amount of cheese was a bit lacking compared to the bread that came out. The lamb was very delicious without any unpleasant smell, but the best thing was the French fries. This is a great French fries restaurant. It's so nice to dip fresh French fries in ketchup and munch on them while looking at the outside scenery. Fondue didn't seem to be on the English menu, so I asked for a separate fondue menu.

Posh restaurant with tasty food and drinks in the capital city’s finest park garden. Unbeatable view of the old town and a short stroll downhill to the city’s bears! No Berne trip will be complete without a pitstop! 🏞️🌹🥗☕️🇨🇭

This was our favorite meal in Bern. We enjoyed every dish that was brought out and the view of the sunset was lovely.

Beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view! The service ladies were all very friendly, the food (pumpkin seed chilli soup and beetroot gnocchi) was very tasty, and the Bernese Märzen beer also tasted excellent. Price/performance is okay for Swiss standards (I have to say that separately as a German 😉). At lunchtime there was a snack menu with a reduced selection, the evening menu is certainly more extensive.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the cheese plate, it was not well presented and all the cheeses were very recent. In my opinion, a Swiss selection with a good cross-section would be better at such a location

It is a restaurant located in a park on top of a mound, where you can see the city of Bern. You can eat there or just have a drink. I only had a drink inside and with excellent views. From what I saw when I left, those who were already having dinner at six in the afternoon had a very good face, the most normal thing is to eat cheese fondue and other varieties. Super correct attention. And the local gin was delicious. I'll post photos of the letter.

Very, very great restaurant, with a varied but not huge menu. We received perfect service from A to Z, we would and will highly recommend the rose garden.

Outstanding customer service: Mr. Kim A real pleasure to meet an employee like Mr. Kim. This was my second time being served by him and I was once again impressed by his professionalism and humor. Despite the many customers he had to look after, he always kept a cool head and made sure that each and every one of us felt welcome and in good hands. Mr. Kim was characterized by his extraordinary competence. No matter what questions or concerns we as customers had, he always had an answer and was able to help us with his specialist knowledge.

It was disappointing that there was no immediate response because the staff was busy, but there were a lot of locals and it was a restaurant with a great view.

Lunch at the Rosengarten with that AMAZING view of the old town, very nice food and super friendly and efficient service, was one of the highlights of our European holiday. Reflecting on all the other reviewers' comments about the restaurant's popularity, we only heard about it on our arrival in Bern and went there without a reservation to find it packed. To our amazement our party of five was not only accepted but shown to the best table - in the corner by the window with an unimpeded view of Bern. We still can't believe our luck and the Rosengarten will forever be the site of one of our most memorable meals.

The place view was really great up the hill and you can see the whole city from above. The food was good.

A wonderful restaurant with the best view of Bern. Pleasant atmosphere - candles, open fireplace in the hall. Excellent service and maintenance. This is definitely a good place to enjoy some real fondue.

Was ignored a few times while trying to catch their attention. Food was alright ( nothing to shout about) but the view is unbeatable.

In an informal, warm, romantic environment with a suggestive view, good food that is not exactly cheap (for Italian standards). I would definitely stay here again.

It has a beautiful view of the entire city from above. We went without a reservation, they helped. Reservations are required for tables by the window, it is usually crowded. The meals we ate were very delicious. (zucchini soup, chicken risotto, green salad). Apart from that, the menu is rich; chicken, lamb, pork, pasta types, soups, appetizers, salads. You're sure to find something that appeals to you.

As a team we eat the fondue menu. Everything was delicious. But we could have just taken one meat platter for two people (big and remember there was a fondu afterwards). The view of Bern while eating is something beautiful.

Lunch was excellent. Plus this unique view, just great. The whole thing was rounded off by the courteous and warm service. We felt very welcome. Price and performance was very good. Tip from me: The beef tartare is a must! Then another piece of apple pie - yum! We will be back!

Food & ambience was great! I can especially recommend the Alpine herb fondue menu with salad and dessert and it has an incredible price/performance ratio.

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of Bern's Rosengarten. If you want to enjoy a delicious foundie, or any other delicious dish, you must reserve! The views are beautiful, you see the entire old town of Bern, and the place is cozy. If you are a tourist, a must! In summer or winter ;)

Booked online a day in advance for a table for 4 for lunch on a weekday. At the day, we were seated at their winter terrace with awesome view to the city. Staff was very friendly and provided good recommendations. Our food came super quickly and all of our needs were attended despite the restaurant being super busy at the time.

Thanks to the good location, always worth a trip. Kitchen very flexible, we wished for the menu "Suure Mocke" when making the reservation - which we couldn't be promised because the menu plan for this week had not yet been defined. Our joy was even greater when menu 1 (Suure Mocke) was listed - big thanks to the kitchen, very flexible and our birthday child was overjoyed. An address that we will certainly recommend again and again and that we will always be reminded of it.

Great place, one of the best views in all Bern. As soon as we were seated, service was excellent, but we stood a long time at the door with many walking past us without apparent interest on customers standing there. But we will be back.

If you go around sunset, the atmosphere is nice, the food is good, and the service is good. I ate the menu after receiving a recommendation from the waiter, and it was better than most high-end Korean restaurants. It costs about 150,000 won for two people. It's similar or cheaper than Korea.

Restaurant located in the heights of Bern, offering a magnificent view over Bern and its old town. Remember to reserve your table to be sure of having a place if you wish to eat. No need to make a reservation to have a drink or eat an ice cream in the afternoon. I strongly advise you to stop there, even if it is simply to enjoy a small cocktail on their terrace, the view will recharge your batteries. As for the service during meals, having eaten there at lunchtime and in the evening, it is rather quick, but it still lets you take your time to enjoy this pleasant moment. Excellent value. If there is a restaurant that you absolutely must try in Bern, it's this one!

Party of three going for lunch. One of us got a wrong plate. When the waiter brought the correct dish and we informed (just in case) that our partner had tried it already, the waiter left, rude and angry, taking the right order with himself. All three dishes were supposed to come with sides (pommes and spätzli) but we never received them. We also informed about it at the end of the meal, and they made us pay whole price anyway. Very disappointing experience, not worthy.

I visited the place yesterday at noon, but today i'm still waiting for the fries I ordered (they made me pay for them). One of my colleagues ordered lamb curry but He received something else with porc. We commented all these to one waiter but he became a little bit aggressive. I think it's the restaurant with the worst service I have ever been.

A restaurant with a view! The only restaurant in Rose Park~ It's perfect for taking a break. The city of Bern is amazing~~~~~~~~~ Cathedral, royal palace, clock tower, prison tower, etc. Everything is visible at a glance.

The kitchen is two stars. At the trout with polenta, the trout was a total embarrassment, the polenta was reheated and the telemeau and parmesan that were listed on the menu were missing. Disappointing for the prices they charge. Otherwise pleasant atmosphere!

Decidedly a tourist’s destination restaurant, the staff was nice, and I cannot stress this enough: THE VIEWS CANNOT BE BEAT. I went just after sunset, and it was surreal. The food is just ok, but reasonably priced. The Beer selection is limited, but delicious.

Go in understanding that the prices are for the views. The food is ok but the view is amazing. We enjoyed our coffee and appetizers while taking in the overview of the old town. Worth it at least once!

I had a ham sandwich and French fries and it was delicious. However, I couldn't eat the bread because it was so burnt on the outside.
