Typical Swiss food, as my friend had promised, and amazing wine. I had liver that was so tender and succulent with a side of potato gratin. And we shared a Toblerone moose. The wine was Hacienda Monasterio.

With the online reservation at the start, free parking spaces, the reception, the choice of table, the lady from the service, the food was very good, the option of choosing a wine. We were regular customers and went out to eat 2-5 times a month, but one Sunday evening he made us order for just 5 minutes (we asked if he could wait for the last customer, who actually came after 3 minutes) when we wanted grilled food wanted meat. We ordered, whereupon the meat arrived and was cooked in a hurry, some pieces were raw, others overcooked. After we finished eating they stood at the table every two minutes asking if we wanted anything else, we couldn't finish a conversation without them interrupting us, it was obvious they wanted to go home. Now I understand that flexibility is not the Swiss' strong point, but you have to understand that the customer goes to a restaurant not only to eat, but also to spend a nice evening with friends and relax, something, which almost never happens in restaurants in this country and especially in the Rössli in Brüttisellen. As for me, I will never enter this restaurant again.

One of my favorite restaurants. Friendly service, delicious cuisine - my tip for a great time.

Great place with excellent food. The menu may appear a little bit limited but the food quality is excellent and the choice diverse enough to satisfy everybody. Their absolute highlight is their terrace, open summers. The terrace has four old trees and they have atmospheric lighting for the evening. It is right next to a road that hets busy during rush hour. This terrace is always full during summers and don’t expect a table for dinner unless you reserve at least a day in advance. The food style is german/swiss kitchen with lamb, porkchop, schnitzel, cordon blue, salads, risotto desserts on the menu. During summers they additionally have coal fired grill outside.

As always, a safe value We have known the Rössli for years. The quality of the food is always at a high level, fresh and beautifully prepared. The staff is not only professional, but also extremely nice and attentive. Ms. Wintsch manages the business and has an overview at all times! I can recommend everything. Personally, I like the veal liver with rösti the best. Unfortunately, the Rössli has been closed on Sundays for some time, which we very much regret. Especially in summer, because eating on Sundays with the family in the beautiful garden shaded by chestnut trees was always very pleasant.

We've been driving through the Rössli for years. We've been going to the bakery next door for years. We kept saying to ourselves, we have to try this now. A regular guest and the butcher next door recently convinced us to finally try out the Rössli while drinking coffee in the bakery. This, of course, after one of our desired favorite restaurants was fully booked again, or it took five phone calls to get a cancellation... We were able to book the Rössli online, which we liked and we as guests didn't call the restaurant at the stupidest moment. We have to say we will come again. That was a thoroughly successful, extended Saturday lunch. The manager welcomed us very friendly and we were allowed to choose between two tables. Our jackets were also hung up straight away. To say it straight away: the lady from the Rhine Valley who looked after us in terms of service did a brilliant job. It was just perfect. The other service employees also kept an eye on our table at all times when they were busy doing something else. After the starter we told the manager that we felt completely comfortable. We quickly noticed the positive atmosphere and the great interaction between the employees. Big compliment! We really enjoyed the tartare with Calvados as a starter, and the main courses such as the beef fillet with Bearnaise sauce (really medium rare), the minced meat patties with long spaetzli and the chef's salad with chicken were in no way inferior. Simply great. We're still thinking about it. The wine selection offers something for every taste and the prices are reasonable. Most of the wines are in the 50 franc segment. We also find that pleasant. The desserts rounded things off positively. There is even a dessert wine on the menu. Why on earth didn't we go to the Rössli earlier? That's probably the only negative thing about the story... Compliments to the whole team!
