Very fine Massaman Gai, opening times 11.30 a.m. to 5 p.m The restaurant, which looks inconspicuous from the outside, has been spruced up a bit since our last visit with new (upholstered) chairs. The Massaman Gai is still our favorite meal here. As always, the service is very friendly. The opening times are (contrary to the homepage): 11.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., so closed in the evening.

It is a Thai restaurant with very poor service staff. The female employee with long hair is quite tall. There was no saying hello to any customers, just a tight look on the face, emphasizing that it was tight, not smiling, then asking if there were two people, right? End of story. Put the menu in the middle of the two tables as if you guys picked it up yourself. Coming to collect the condiments without asking if we had finished cooking them was a negative service. It's really a waste of money to eat the worst food I've ever seen. Employees' attitudes should be adjusted as they feel bad.

Fantastic food by a super nice team of authentic chefs. Owner was so kind and even made off menu dishes for us at request. Spoke perfect English and gave us tips for our vacation. Highly recommended for some authentic Thai food that was some of the best we've had!

The food tastes good and the price is on par with Zurich. Unfortunately it's usually very full and therefore loud during lunchtime.

I have been in this restaurant many times during lunch as my company is approximately two blocks away. However today I went for lunch alone and placed my order. After waiting over a half hour and watching many others receive their food, I was told that they no longer had what I ordered and asked if I wanted something else. Of course because I waited so long I could not wait longer for another order. I will never go back to this restaurant as the service was LOUSY!

What more can I say, excellent food prepared in the most authentic way possible! Probably the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Asia, comes pretty close to the real stuff (though with slight variations but still good spice and flavour). Service was great, the server offered us some extra rice when they noticed we were running out. They even prepared more chili fresh out of the kitchen for us. Overall a super popular place to get your Thai fix, highly recommended!

Simple, no-frills restaurant. The food was good, the service was ok. There is a star deduction for the price/performance ratio.

The restaurant is small and very, very loud during lunchtime. A positive thing to mention is that the service works really quickly - the food comes to the table quickly and the prices are more than fair for Zurich. On the negative side, it has to be said that in addition to the noise level, it was also noticeable that not all drinks on the menu were available (only a fraction of them) and in our menu with tofu and vegetables, the tofu was forgotten in both portions, which is why I left after a few hours was hungry again...

Really very tasty food - spicy and not so Swiss-soft. It was something special and we'll be back.

The food and service were great the only thing that wasn’t great was the rice it had the consistency of day old rice, very dry. Other than that no complaints the chicken was very tender and nice crispy outside. Their cold teas were also very nice and refreshing.

We've been eating there every now and then for over a year. The quality has continuously declined: service is rather unprofessional and unfriendly, and people hardly speak German anymore, the food is of the highest standard (you can also get it in the Asian takeaway), furniture is extremely worn, floors and windows are dirty, the price-performance ratio is not right at all more. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant Ruen Thai by Suthita.

Soup is very delicious and fragrant, very authentic thai food!

This is an authentic Thai though toned down (a bit too much) to European taste buds (you can always ask for extra chilli though). Portion size is ok, not too large. It is better for take out than sit down since lunch service is very slow (you def need to bring more than 1h of time here).

Thanks to Corona, unfortunately only take-away but with full commitment and enthusiasm. A role model for all troubled catering businesses. Opening times have been adjusted to be customer-friendly. The food is amazing and I have very, very high standards. Just perfect.

Well it could be better. The lunch menu of beef curry with rice for 24.00 didn't really fill me up. For the price they could have been a little more generous. The food came quickly, the service was friendly, but I have definitely been to better Thai restaurants. Wasn't anything special
