Extremely friendly, benevolent and attentive people who host you. The food is fresh and very tasty! The Sakura Special is a 0.5l non-alcoholic fruity-bitter-sweet drink with berries, a greeting from the kitchen was fried eggplant and specially pickled radishes, very interesting and a pleasure, the wakame salad and the miso soup were freshly prepared and very tasty! !! The massaman curry and fried noodles were delicious, the curry was light and not coconut dominated, with lots of fresh vegetables. I was also asked in between if I wanted more rice. Very generous, including the portions. After the main course we were offered a hot sake (cherry sake?), we would have preferred to order a bottle ;) Everything was super clean, tidy, authentic and sweet. From A-Z a cozy, delicious and perfect evening! Paying with card possible! We'll be back, thank you very much!

A win for Uster – committed owners who prepare fine food with passion and absolutely live up to the motto “small and fine”. Delicious sushi, sumptuous poke bowls and everything freshly prepared. The momos in particular were delicious. I would be happy to come back soon and good luck in Niederuster. Our family thought it was great!

I ate here for the first time today and was welcomed directly by the two dearest hosts. They served us warmly and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious! 11/10 (P.S. the momos that aren't on your menu yet are very good ;))

Fantastic food and super friendly service. You feel very welcome! Price-performance is also great. The building is old and you can see that, but that is quickly forgotten during the evening. We live in Uster and go regularly! You can also order and take away. There is plenty of free parking right next door.

We took two vegan take away menus with us. The food was great 🤩, prepared quickly and cleanly, and the service was top. Everything perfect. We will definitely come back here more often.

Excellent Asian food at affordable prices. We had wantons, shrimp tempura, wakame salad as starters. And for the main course, Singaporean-style fried noodles and shrimp fried with garlic and chili. Everything was really excellent. And the owners are very welcoming and friendly. To recommend! We will come back with pleasure

The food was very good and 100% fresh and prepared with love. The hosts gave us a very warm welcome and we felt very comfortable. We sat outside in the garden and since it was on the street, it was a little noisy, but the hosts couldn't help it. The price-performance is great. All in all, very recommendable, even for a take away menu to eat at Lake Greifensee. :)

Truly a wonderful place where the delicacies are prepared with mastery, dedication and love. As a native of Japan, I have to clarify that nowhere else in Uster (!) is such authentic sushi served. The host couple so lovely! A thoroughly intimate ambience. What a delight to have this small Japanese/Taiwanese restaurant in Niederuster! Sakura is the most authentic and best Taiwanese Cuisine in Zurich! The perfect combination of tender Lamb strips and Taiwanese Satay Sauce definitely fulfilled my quest for homeland taste. The chef exclusively made Sanbei-abalone -mushroom for our vegetarian friend. Perfect beer and Oolong Tea were also paired with our dishes. All dishes showcased genuine Taiwanese flavour with fresh local ingredients. The owner-couple is very nice and the service is wonderful. Sakura is very close to the Greifensee. After lunch, the owner suggested us taking a walk to the beach. The views of the lake and surroundings are just stunningly beautiful. We will definitely return to Sakura again and taste the variety of sushi and Taiwanese dishes on our future excursions to Greifensee and Uster.

The food was amazing! Very fresh tasting and good portions. We had one surprise sushi plate and a poke bowl. Staff are super friendly. Looking forward to go back for outside dining. Highly recommend and hope this new little place has lots of success.

The interior of this newly opened restaurant is very simple, probably to emphasize the absolute top quality of the food. The sushi can definitely compete with the best restaurants in Zurich and the couple who run it are extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit more often in the future. Small and cozy Japanese/Taiwanese restaurant in Niederuster, great plus is that it’s also open on Monday when everything else in the area is closed. We tried the surprise sushi menu and it was beautifully presented with top quality and fresh ingredients. Way better than the other sushi restaurant in Uster we tried last week. Next time we will try the Taiwanese menu. Great welcome addition to the Uster dining scene!

I was at the rehearsal dinner on the first day of opening and it was super delicious! Fresh sushi and other delicious dishes. Very friendly hosts.
