Were on the terrace with wonderful sunshine and a fine Wägitalerplättli. Service very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, because I'm so hungry, no photo😂

Always good for a short break to get a little refreshment. The staff is always very friendly and well-positioned.

The Sattelegg mountain restaurant promises an unforgettable culinary experience! The impressive location in the middle of the mountains, the cozy ambience and the sincere hospitality make this place a true pearl. The menu impresses with a diverse selection of delicious dishes, always freshly prepared and of first-class quality. The extremely friendly staff make a significant contribution to making you feel at home right from the start. The terrace in particular scores points with its magnificent view of the surrounding nature. A highly recommended place to take a well-deserved break and enjoy the refreshing mountain air!

The Sattelegg restaurant is no longer what it used to be. It used to be much better. Food and service very good. TODAY: Unfriendly staff, food no longer good. Think about tipping every time. Definitely not at these prices. You don't feel welcome.

Food overpriced. In the Cordonbleu I had a foreign body (a child's bullet). Service very arrogant and unfriendly. As a non-Wägitaler, you feel completely out of place here.

Located at the highest point of Sattel Egg Pass (which is not that high) this restaurant is a great place for resting after doing some of the twisties. There is enough parking space. I'd say, the best sandwiches in all of Schwyz.

Food expensive service very unfriendly!!! Not recommended!

Extremely rude and the soup was an imposition. We ordered 4 goulash soups for almost 50 francs. A hefty price but for quality it would be ok. This soup at Sattelegg has nothing in common with goulash soup. There was almost no filler and it was extremely watery. It's a disgrace to serve such "broth" to a paying customer. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The view was great, the service was less and the worst thing was the goulash soup, without meat and very thin. A pity.

Very varied selection of cordon bleu (across switzerland). The fries are also well seasoned and the salad varied. The dessert menu is huge. The staff was friendly and the view at sunset very beautiful.

The ice cream sundae is worth it here! The price of around 13 francs is acceptable given the size of the ball, or almost unbeatable by Swiss standards. Quite a good selection of varieties.

Nice place to stop for a drink when driving motorcycle across this low and beautiful pass. Genuinely friendly hosts too.

STAFF: friendly FOOD AND DRINK: we enjoyed dessert here. The blueberries weren't very warm. Rather lukewarm. They were still very cold downstairs. And with the vermicelle, the vanilla ice cream wasn't that tasty. (a matter of taste) PLAYGROUND: it has a nice one for the children. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE: Yes PARKING: there is enough. There may be a lack of parking space on weekends.

Food OK for the fairly high price level, the bread has room for improvement, tasted like industrial production. More could be done with the restaurant. The interior is worn and needs a refresh. The sun terrace is a place to linger.

Very nice service and at least a delicious vegan dish on the menu. I was very pleased.

Was here very often thanks to my route home, mostly for coffee or a small snack. Lunch was once the case. The food and atmosphere as well as the ambience is very welcoming and comfortable. Unfortunately, it often happened that the server took more than what felt like 5 minutes to greet us after we had sat down. Personally, I don't know whether there was a lot going on inside or too much stress. One point deducted because I miss a friendly smile when I visit :)

The restaurant on the very busy Satteleggstrasse. Especially in summer. Fine food, large portions and good house coffee. But everything can also be paid for well.

It's been a long time since I've been there again and I have to say it was, as always, simply sensational.

Today 1st August is a Swiss national holiday and with a beautiful sunny day we took the opportunity to eat in this restaurant at 1200 m. The place is wonderful with a beautiful view and the food is really good!!! 😉😊😋

Coupe is a great size for the price. The playground is next to the terrace so you have a good overview of the children.

The waitress looked like she didn't want to do her job, the food was outrageously expensive and you had to shell out Fr. 16 for 2 chicken nuggets and a tiny portion of fries.

I didn't feel welcome. I just ordered a small mixed salad which was excellent. I noticed it from the waitress because that's all I ordered. She was rude to me and didn't pay attention to me like she would if I wasn't sitting there.

A quick stop with a view of the crowded ski slope with eager participants in the annual ski race. Always worth a rest, even without winter surroundings. Attention: still open next week. Then a well-deserved rest until before Easter.

Excellent view from the terrace and from the restaurant of the (small) ski area and the impressive mountains. Service quick and nice. Good selection of menus that are attractively presented. Kitchen good - not very good. Prices correspond to the performance. Basically recommended.

Unfortunately the lift was broken on Saturday. And we drove up in vain. We took a walk and then went to the restaurant for a drink. I was extremely surprised how someone could manage such a large, full terrace with two service women. (We also have a restaurant) Everything worked out perfectly. A request to the boss. (Say thank you and be proud) the service is worth every franc. The two women were extremely friendly. One of the few places where you can still hear a thank you. Me and my family will be back soon and eat our way through the menu. Everything looked very tasty.

Great place to relax. Unfortunately, the forest could be clean. It's sad that many Swiss and Germans use nature as a pile of rubbish and are not ashamed to show children that the planet needs the dirt.

Always worth a trip, beautiful location, very good service and a very nice menu

We ordered beef pepper once and venison cordon bleu. Both portions were quite large. Unfortunately the beef wasn't cooked long enough and was tough. It was taken back without any problems. The side dishes (pasta and frozen vegetables just pulled out of the water) came back warmed up with the deer cordon. I was asked if I agreed to this. Both deer cordon bleu were very tough. My companion left more than half behind. The cheese was very flavorful, but also very chewy. The fries were a little over-seasoned with salt and paprika. Even though we were only charged for one meal (thanks), we don't want to give the kitchen another chance. The price of Fr. 35.00 per Cordon Bleu is far too high in the price-performance comparison. We lacked the passion of those involved. Too bad.
