We enjoyed lunch in theSchauenburg, as always very tasty and at a fair price. The portions are large, good for hungry hikers. A real mountain restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and service. We'd love to come back.

For me, the Schauburg mountain restaurant is one of the best in the first Jura chain. Simple, honest, friendly, familiar. Good in every respect. Well located for hiking. Located behind the actual Schauburg, which gives it its name, there is no view of the Mittelland, but this reinforces the mountain feeling and promotes a certain isolation. The small menu with down-to-earth dishes, snacks and drinks covers all needs. And at very fair prices. For me it's worth a visit at every opportunity.
