The Schlössli restaurant is located in the middle of Meggen. Centrally located and with its own parking spaces. The owner and the restaurant specialists in service are very attentive. The food was really great, we had two pizzas. The waitress, an older bald man, was very, very unfriendly. He hardly exchanged a word with us and after the pizzas we were so to speak ignored, we were not asked whether we wanted coffee or dessert and when we asked for the dessert menus ourselves after a while, we were told they would bring them straight away. 20 minutes later we still didn't have any tickets and we had to stand in the way of the service at the checkout so that we could even pay, otherwise we would probably have been ignored further away. We were treated as if we weren't even wanted there. It was a really disappointing evening as the food itself was really very good. I recommend taking the pizzas to go so you don't have to deal with unfriendly service

Rating only applies to the restaurant, I can't say anything about the hotel as I wasn't a guest there. I ordered a pizza to go and was told it would take 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and had to wait a whopping 35 minutes before I finally got my pizza. Despite multiple complaints, I was just stalled. Apparently you can't apologize either. On top of that, the pizza was mediocre at best. Never again!
