Schlössli Wörth in Neuhausen am Rheinfall

We had a great evening! The food was consistently very tasty and the service was absolutely friendly and attentive. We also really liked how our children were looked after. Coloring pages and crayons came with the children's menu. The ambience and view of the Rhine Falls made the wonderful evening perfect. Would definitely come again ☺️

If you visit Rhein Falls, you should visit this restaurant. It is pricey but worth it! The foods and view are excellent,with part of the Rhein Falls just right in front of you.

The food and ambience are very good, as is the freshness and therefore quality of the food. No tickets are necessary to visit the Rhine Falls from this side (Nohl/north side) - the entire area is open to the public and you can get very close to the falls on foot. Not as close as the official entrance, where you come within a few centimeters of the main fall, but still impressive. A footpath, which is also wheelchair accessible, leads partly along the railway from one side of the theater to the other. The stairs and corridors down to the falls themselves (south side) are chargeable, as are the boats that take you to the other side or to the rock in the middle of the falls. The gastronomy is good all around, for example there are also pastries, but also fries etc. and especially fish crispy with fish from the region. We spent a magnificent evening in an exceptional setting with a breathtaking view of the Rheinfall and extraordinary, charming table service, with great kindness and professionalism. The New Year's Eve dinner was delicious and the surprise of the sensational fireworks at midnight on the terrace delighted us. Thank you for this magical evening!

The most expensive restaurant and the service is mediocre

Very nice location with a view of the Rhine Falls. The ambience is simply great, the service is very nice, courteous and helpful. As you could tell from the cutlery, there was bread as a starter. Usually with butter. Then came a salmon tartare recommended by the boss. This tasted very good and then the main course was rounded off in terms of taste and very good. Definitely recommendable.

Delicious food; Very good staff attention. What makes the experience wonderful is the view of the Rheinfall while you enjoy your food.

The Schlössli Wörth has once again become a place that guarantees a good experience. the wild card was exclusive. We were extremely pleased with the quantity, quality and service. Everything was a joy. We'll definitely come back.

Visit on 10/1/23 The ambience of the restaurant is top. But that was almost it. Food below average. Prices very high, simble Rösti burnt, waited over an hour for the main course. Kitchen was overwhelmed. Prosecco was stale and warm. The rooms were overheated, other guests also found this, but nothing was done. There was no wheelchair support. All in all not recommended.

Food here is secondary, main draw is the lovely view of rheinfalls. We ordered prawns starter and beef fillet, not bad but not fantastic either.

Unfortunately I can't judge the food yet as I haven't eaten in this wonderful restaurant yet. But the ambience is really incredibly beautiful. I got help here because unfortunately there are people who think they can leave their trash anywhere. My wife and I wanted to have a barbecue at the Rhine Falls, but we had to clean up first. We were totally horrified. After I explained this in the restaurant, the staff didn't hesitate for a second to help. Thank you for that.

The terrace is only available when the weather is good

A must. Located directly at the basin of the Rhine Falls, one of the classiest restaurants. The food selection leaves nothing to be desired. And the ambience inside invites you to linger with the excellent service and the great view of the Rhine Falls. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience, the staff is friendly and service was fast

Fantastic location and view, horrible and untrained service, super slow kitchen. I took a high level business delegation and had to apologize to my guests. Took over two hours from arrival to receiving the main course. When a fork dropped on the table, my guest was offered a tissue to clean it. Drink orders got forgotten many times. No apology from management, no coffee offered to make up. Desaster. Never again!

Very good restaurant. Relatively inexpensive considering the place/ambience. Service and food are very good. The ice cream is recommended and a very good cappuccino.

I haven't been to Schlössli WÖRTH for a long time; we used to go there regularly with my grandfather. The view is and remains unique. The service from the Chefe de Service was great, calm and attentive. The golden plate for our birthday child, what a great idea 💡 and the other guests were spared an embarrassing cat whine with mini cakes. The Thai soup is a poem. The tartare was perfect, the perch fillet was crispy and everything else was great. The Creme Brule was chosen by all of us, with plenty of cream for my wife. The glass of champagne 🥂 and the perfect Amarone rounded off a lovely evening “en family”.

Failure at the Rhine Falls. Service was extremely slow and seemed very unmotivated. I only drank it after waiting 20 minutes. We didn't even ask about food, even though we would have liked to eat something.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and mentioned this when making the reservation. To our surprise, the table was specially set for the occasion, which made us very happy. The staff was also very nice and attentive. The ambience was also harmonious. And most importantly, the food was excellent, the meat and fish were very tasty. It was a wonderful evening for us and everything was perfect! We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Schlössli Wörth team for this.

I was there in the evening during the week and ordered the Lostallo salmon fillet with rice as a main course and a salad as a starter. I have to say the salmon was very tasty and juicy. However, the rice is very dry (like a rice cooker) and the vegetables were not very tasty. The service was great, the staff were very friendly and the ambience was very nice with a view of the Rhine Falls. The prices are correspondingly expensive. We paid around 80 francs per person without alcohol. I think the prices could be adjusted slightly since the food wasn't that great.

The view is gigantic, the menu is well thought out and the service is also very attentive. Despite fine dining, you will also be treated well if you are wearing holiday clothes, motorcycle clothes or with a dog. The tartare is highly recommended. The price is high, but not outrageous, especially for the drinks, and the quality of the food is good. Beautiful view of the Rhinefalls drew us to the restaurant, but we did not expect the extremely low standard of food that was served. While the food would have been tolerable in the canteen, it definitely didn’t warrant the CHF 60 per person we paid.

We went for dinner and the food was delicious, but we found the price to be high for the quality offered. It's definitely worth going to see the views of the waterfalls in front of the Rhine. And thank you for the great service from the waitress Luci.

Well, next to the Rheinfall! What shall I say about the view? Spectacular! Inside of the restaurant allows a good view to what is happening outside. Very good menu with lots of local food! Service very friendly and attentative English-speaking Really a great evening we had there!

The location of the restaurant is superb, directly in front of the waterfalls, in an old house built directly on the river. The waterfalls can be admired through the large windows and can almost be considered part of the decor! The service is precise and attentive, impeccable. Unfortunately the choice of dishes is not up to the level of the location, even if the quality of the food is decidedly good

The food is really dry and the rice casimier vegi tastes like it was cooked up quickly in a pan and the rest of the onion is really inedible. This 29.- is simply not worth it. A ready-made product from migro for 6.50chf tastes better from ANNA manufacturer. Fries were dry like in the photo. Tiramisu is still ok. I think the food in such a nice restaurant with such a nice atmosphere should taste good too! The food was disappointing but the service was friendly and I also gave them a tip.

One of the most beautifully located restaurants in Europe. Great terrace on the upper floor. Online reservation worked very well. Everything as it should be for the price range. More expensive than average in the region, but the view is included in the price.

Good food in an extremely beautiful place, 1st row at Rheinfall

The menu is very extensive, but not too complex, which allows the kitchen to still offer many different dishes. The salad was very delicious, the main course was so good that I forgot to take pictures 🤷🏼‍♂️ the view is of course unique. Thanks to the small number of tables, it is more of a quiet restaurant, despite the roar of the waterfall. Rather expensive, but also with quality. Recommended!

Price/performance is not right. Nice restaurant with the best view. The food is nicely prepared but... In the salad some mushrooms were warm and others were cold. When cutting the cucumber, the chef probably wanted to set a world record in spiral cutting... Carpacio from a bag with bleached tomatoes and cheap mozzarella. Ordered Cola and got Cola Zero. For the price, I also want it to be right in depth and not just superficially. In addition, during off-peak times there is a very small menu so that the cook can be saved. The selection was larger in the self-service restaurant and we certainly wouldn't have eaten worse there Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be...

Food excellent and plentiful. Service very attentive and friendly. The view of the Rhine Falls is gigantic. Atmosphere cozy and well maintained. Dog was allowed with us but I don't know if that was just an exception.

Directly facing the waterfall, it is the best choice for dining and viewing. The salad I ordered today scored 4.2 points, and the Zander filet was very good, with a score of 4.3.

The location of Schlössli Wörth is unique and beautiful. Unfortunately, due to energy saving measures, the Rhine Falls are not illuminated. But the restaurant can't do anything about it. The service was okay, but there was room for improvement; both Swiss German and Standard German were not understood properly and things were forgotten. You are not prepared for food intolerances and you don't get the food you ordered but a slimmed down version. The fish had a lot of bones. I had my fingers in my mouth more often than the fork. Of course it can't be boneless, but that was really massive. Well maybe it will work next time :)

Of course, it is ultimately our responsibility that we did not consume any food but only a starter, but in my opinion a surcharge of 30 CHF (for 3 people) is not justified. This would have been intended for the tip, but because of that we didn't give it.

We went in without a reservation and the waiter was friendly and got us a table. We sat away from the window but the view was nevertheless magnificent. Food service was good, fast (maybe because we arrived before two large parties) and our dishes were very good. Just a note, if you want a bit more tasty food, don’t go with trout as it’s very light. A memorable time.

The view is outstanding. But that's the only thing I can praise about this restaurant. The staff seemed disinterested and arrogant. In addition, the food was served way too late. And as far as the food is concerned: the selection was poor and the quality was rather poor. Price performance absolutely not justified. NEVER AGAIN!!

Completely over the top and a total ripoff. I wanted to have something to drink and eat with my companion. However, she only wanted a wine and I wanted to order some. Then it was said that that wouldn't work. She could have a drink, but we would still have to pay an extra 10 francs per person. Hello, are you still working? And at these prices. Nice view of a total tourist demolition. I don't know what the food is like because I left immediately. Certainly not a good calling card for this restaurant. Better to avoid it.

Bar-restaurant in a fantastic location with terrace overlooking the Rhine Falls. Obviously the prices are definitely proportionate to the location and location. Unfortunately the place doesn't offer much choice in food so we tried fish & chips and an ice cream (the choice of ice cream is wide). The wine I tried was excellent and expensive. Very kind waitress.

Ruined birthday dinner As long-time and loyal guests of the Schlössli Wörth, it was obvious to have my birthday dinner there. My daughter suffers from celiac disease (gluten intolerance). That's why my wife called in advance to check whether the chef could handle it. She was assured that the Schlössli Wörth could do it. This was pointed out again during operation. No problem. My daughter found a "dumpling" in her food which, after asking the kitchen, was identified as something with gluten. It was prepared again, but it was too late. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the toilet. The chef she asked about this simply said laconically that he couldn't guarantee gluten-free food... It also came across as if my daughter wanted to “get” a free meal by making a “complaint”. As a customer you are not taken seriously in this restaurant. If you don't want to or can't, I expect that to be told. We could have booked another restaurant without any problems We would then have to stop the exercise after the main course and drive our daughter home. At least the boss recognized the problem. Let's sincerely hope it gets fixed. We won't be able to check it anymore because that was definitely our last visit there

The food is beautiful, the place is beautiful, and the waters are very nice It bothered me to have an annoying little girl screaming 🤨

This restaurant is in the best location on the river. The views are stunning. The only problem is the service. So far the worse I’ve had on my trip. The food was good but there were so many flies in the restaurant one got into my food. Lucky I was almost done. The gentleman server didn’t come back to pickup the plates and never asked how it was. It was 20 min from the time they dropped off the food to picking it up. Not once asking how things were. If you charge $$$ , the service should come with it. We were the first people in the restaurant too.

Everything was amazing the food the service the place very nice view and can’t even get started on the service they were very nice made sure that everything was good i recommend this place for everybody.

The apprentice Chantal Pauletto was a very good waitress and knew exactly what she was doing. Appear friendly and confident. I ate the herb-crusted beef fillet, which was a bit bland but still excellent. But the service topped everything. I'd love to come again

Beautifully located castle at the foot of the Rhine Falls.

Built on a small island in the Rhein river, it is opposite of the Laufen Castle. Until the middle of 19th century as a major transhipment point on the east-west trade route, but lost its importance when railways were built. It contains a restaurant and a gift shop. Rheinfall tour boats starts from here.

Kitchen closed at 5 p.m. The management of Schloss Wörth probably misunderstood something. 😂

Unfortunately they sent me away telling me that you couldn't eat just a mixed salad and a plate of ham and melon or similar. You can see that I would have spent too little 🥴.
