I've never eaten such a bad tartare and I've never had to give back more than half of it! The meat wasn't processed properly, some of it had whole pieces in it! I never eat there anymore. There wasn't even a price reduction or at least that the drink was offered! Absolutely no go!!! Update on the situation: On December 8th, 2023, Mr. Berger, the manager of the restaurant, contacted me and sent me a voucher worth CHF 50! I think this is sensational and I'm excited to see what the food I order will be like!!!! Update will follow... On February 16th, 2024 I ordered another tartare and it was absolutely fine! I also ordered a burger 🍔 and it was okay too.

I was at a dog tournament and it was perfectly organized. The food was also very good.

We had a delicious meal and the service staff was very competent. There was also a nice selection of gluten-free dishes

It's a shame that one of the waitresses is so unfriendly. The waiter, however, was very accommodating. She didn't seem motivated from the start. We were also not informed that the restaurant “only” charges starters as the main course in the evening! In addition, after we paid, this woman neither said goodbye nor thanked us. We didn't comment on the amount of money or anything else because we were a bit perplexed. Too bad for the company.

I had seen some reviews and was a little hesitant, but instead we ate really well, we had two dishes (braised meat and gnocchi) both really delicious! very friendly staff, well furnished and good music really enjoyable!

The food was still ok. However, the blonde server's daughter was clearly in a bad mood. Unfriendly and rude. Were back in the Schützenhaus for a long time. It's a shame, it used to be a top address.

Disappointing food, had to wait over an hour... Cold place, had to eat with a coat. Too expensive and parking too costly.

What a juice shop, the tartare was terrible, the service was a disaster, the toilets in the men's toilet smelled so bad of urine. We will never eat there again and I can't recommend it to anyone.

This is an authentic Swiss restaurant with proper food and service. I am very satisfied with the friendly service and delicious authentic Swiss cuisine. However, it has the disadvantage of being less accessible as it is about 10 minutes away from the city, but it is a place where you can have a leisurely meal rather than the crowded city center with free parking if you rent a car.

Service and staff were friendly and attentive. I was able to order everything perfectly in English, even with my custom request for gravy on the side. Food was well cooked and large portion size. Only minus a star as it was very empty at lunch time.

We were at the Schützenhaus last week. We waited a long time for the food and the meat was still half raw. The food didn't taste good either. The price is far too expensive for this quality. Conclusion: We will never go to the restaurant again.

My rating is not fair. Too expensive and too much Alpstäg.

Hamburger was much too small for the high price and we got it raw, so to speak. Report it, they see it and say this is really not good. Take it with you and then bring the half-eaten hamburger and the same, meanwhile lukewarm/lightly fries (notice that we initially put pepper on the fries) back to the place. So for the price (almost 30 francs) you should have the burger whole again bring fresh.

Interpreting Cordonbleu differently is absolutely ok! However, the basic pillars of content should not be lost. As a restaurateur (chef), I would like more cheese in it and a cordon bleu that doesn't come across as an involtini. Thank you

It's a shame that you have to wait over 2 hours for a tartare... The bread that came with it was cold and rubbery. Unfortunately, additional bread didn't arrive in time because we had to leave. The beetroot tart was ok.

Eating here is very pleasant, almost like wellness in a restaurant... Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, no rush from anywhere...if I had a pillow I would have laid down :) Eat: Had beef vorese as a menu. - First of all, the soup, very tasty, has a bit of an Asian touch but is not boring. - Salad.....Definitely FRESH!! and not out of the bag, top! -Voresen were tender and the dark sauce was a culinary delight. Everything really to the point. The only thing that wasn't ok was that you had to get the bread yourself... you could take as much as you wanted but get up while eating, well... that's the only "negative thing". Conclusion: Price performance absolutely ok, would recommend it to everyone. I'd love to come back!

My husband and I decided at short notice to eat at the Schützenhaus. The food was wonderful and the staff was very nice.

An upscale, down-to-earth pub with friendly service. Although dark, which is due to the wood, despite the long window front. Unfortunately there are not enough 'own parking spaces'. Since it is located next to the SWISSPOR-ARENA, there are enough parking spaces and an underground car park, all subject to charges. Fries are golden yellow, crispy on the outside and well done on the inside. TOP! The prices are appropriate for the location.

Very friendly staff, the food was delicious, the price was reasonable. There is a large terrace to sit outside, which is covered. Dogs are welcome outside and inside. Lovely again

It's great that the restaurant is open again and renovated! The food and service is good, it's just a shame that with a Coretto Grappa an espresso and the grappa are charged separately. Shouldn't cost 15.-...

We had dinner with you at the weekend, the cordon bleu was very good and the wine list was impressive. A great address for all wine lovers and gourmets.

Ate there yesterday, had to return everything, service was top, kitchen was a flop. The chef was already gone, he was probably in a hurry, so the food was accordingly. A new restaurant in particular shouldn't be a deterrent. I definitely won't be eating there again .It's a shame because the service can't make up for the damage. However, I have to mention: The aperitif, a glass of wine and the food were not charged. The service is top.

After we couldn't get anything to eat in a restaurant in Kriens at 8:35 p.m., I got in the car and drove towards Allmend with my companion, already quite hungry. We usually eat in a different restaurant there, but that evening I really wanted to try out the Schützenhaus, something I've been meaning to do for a while. Said. Did. We sat there, studying the harmonious menu. The waitress was very friendly. I decided to give this restaurant a try and did what I always do when trying to figure out if a restaurant is right for me: I flipped over the entire menu and ordered exactly what I was craving. Including lots of sauce. I told the waitress that she should please write this down and that's how the tension began. Will it taste good? Will they even get it done? The waitress thought it was funny. As a starter we had hazelnut salad, which was quite unspectacular, but what followed was a very rare surprise. I got exactly what I ordered and exactly as I ordered it: cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and vegetables, with Bernaise sauce for the vegetables and gravy for the meat - and plenty of it and by this point it was already running out 21 clock. The many people who showed up after 9:30 p.m. and filled the restaurant were also given something to drink and eat (!!!). The Bernaise tasted different than what I'm used to, but it was incredibly good. The same applies to everything else I consumed in this restaurant without exception. Even after more than two weeks, we still remember it fondly and just the day before yesterday my companion said to me how amazed he was at how good the food was in the Schützenhaus, thus expressing the thought that I have had almost every other day since then. I'm sure we'll be visiting there more often in the future.

On a Sunday we were in a family group of 10 at Sääli vom Schützenhaus and ordered a variety of menu items from the menu. Everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, enjoyed the food very much. The service was also very attentive and the food was on the table quickly. Thank you very much, we'll be back! PS: Also the veal liver was great...

We had dinner there after the circus service! We waited over 1.5 hours until we finally got something to drink! I ordered a fitness plate with chicken breast and salad because I thought I couldn't go wrong. But far from it, another hour later the food finally arrived. The salad had no sauce and the meat was harder than the sole of a shoe! We had made a special reservation for around 20-30 people and everyone had the same experience! In defense of the tenant I have to say that he offered us all a limoncello. However, we will never go there again! Unfortunately, that comes back to the owners, the shooting company, if you choose a tenant who runs everything down. We will contact the Schützengesellschaft and advise you to terminate the lease agreement as quickly as possible for your own safety! But if I look at these contacts, I would even work towards a termination without notice and hope that the shooting company has good legal protection insurance, which I also believe! They should then have a few test dinners, then they will have enough evidence to finally put a stop to the tenant I trust!

I have been to the Schützenhaus several times in the last few months and have always been very satisfied. Even during the LUGA period, when there was a lot going on, the service was top and the food was incredibly tasty. I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.

Staff very nice, but overwhelmed. Drink ordering takes too long, guests received the food quicker than the drinks they ordered. There is a lack of tact in the service, 3-4 people prefer to take the order and the others Serve the orders. You are in a very good location and there are peak times every day, then report to employees and you can improve significantly. Here you need a service manager who has coordination and the process under control. Eat: Cordonbleu, was frozen goods for 35.50 francs, too expensive and French fries not cross, home-made cordonbleu, would be feasible and desirable for such a restaurant.

The service was very friendly ! But you quickly noticed that there was no trained staff! According to the “motto” just smile and everything will be fine! The food itself was a disappointment, you can get better pizza at every kebab corner!
