Schwyzerhüsli in Baden

The first time we went, my girlfriend ordered two coffees (in German) for 9CHF. Today I ordered the same (in English) and surprisingly the price has increased in one week by 3CHF. I definitely don't recommend it for those who don't speak German, unless you want to pay 35% more.

It's a must in Baden. From Spain, my 5th time coming here.

Products taste like goods purchased from wholesalers. Salad dressing was probably the typical run-of-the-mill salad dressing from the 5 liter bottle from the CC. Not a single salad was homemade - everything came from a package. And for that they charge Fr. 24.50. Very disappointing. Generally the prices are very steep for this quality! I found the restaurant to be a tourist trap.

Well, employees are either taciturn or simply stressed. There's a lot to do there. Salad doesn't do justice to the price level. It's a shame, great location, but a lot of room for improvement.

Typically restaurant with very good Swiss food. There is also a selection of pizzas and a variety of sausages. I didn't like that when sharing a pizza between two people they charge you an additional four francs. Is that worth washing an extra plate? The worst thing is that the waiter doesn't warn you.

Although it was stated during the clarification that allergies could be taken into account, this was not followed! Cheese was also used, although it was not listed among the ingredients. The service was friendly until the allergy incident. Despite allergy information, food was brought with allergens. They didn't realize that they were making a mistake. Furthermore, nothing was refunded. We are lucky that there was no hospital stay.

We were with small children for dinner in the restaurant (ground floor). When I asked the waiter if there was a high chair in the restaurant for my 2 year old son, the waiter pointed his index finger at the folded high chair in the corner and went off to do something else. I then had to ask him if he couldn't help me open the high chair and get it ready for us. Conclusion: no friendly service, no eye contact, no smile, unmotivated. With such high prices and an elegant ambience, I expected friendlier service. We Still gave a tip because the food was served quickly. Pizza salami tasted good.

Nice in the middle of Baden. But you lose the desire to enjoy. The service ignores and waves away. If you then complain that the food is not good, you will be insulted instead of just remaining polite. Unfortunately I really can't recommend it. Not to mention the prices for this service. No desire and no idea about gastronomy!!!!!!! Too bad. Good location, maybe another landlord who still loves gastronomy would be better there. All the best despite everything

My partner and I had a pizza in this restaurant last Sunday. Since we only ordered a halved pizza on two plates, we had to pay 4.50 francs more! I also took a small mixed salad, unfortunately I had to pay 14.70 francs for this mixed salad which was in a larger plate, even though it looked like a small green salad as I saw it on another table! My partner still gave me a tip of 2 francs! But for me it was a rip off! I won't eat at this restaurant again! A pity! 🤔

The food was absolutely AWESOME!! I had the porcini mushroom salad...CHEFS KISS! 🤩✨ update 04.10.23 the food is still very tasty but unfortunately they are quite inflexible... in every other restaurant you can adapt the starter as you like, unfortunately not here... it would be good for them to change this...

Great place to eat a delicious pizza. And luckily open on a Monday. Enjoy your holiday on the terrace with a beer.

You simply don't get served. If you ask if you can order, you'll be shown the finger or told to be patient, but no one will come. They've never been treated with such disrespect. They don't even deserve one star

Both coffee cups were completely dirty. When asked about it, they said that the waiter was just temporary staff. I'm disappointed. It's a shame for the great location and the name.

We couldn't order an ice cream sundae with coffee at 1:30 p.m. because the terrace was only for people who wanted a menu, as it was lunchtime.....????? We were rudely sent off by the waiter, even though there were still many free tables. Goodbye, Schwyzerhüsli, I expected more hospitality with this name...

Fresh salads, good food, rather expensive (farmer salad 24 sfr. for green salad, carrots, red cabbage, cottage cheese and 3 small croquettes) Maybe there's a second chance 😉

It's a shame this team has occupied this great location. You could do something great here, but the service almost makes you feel guilty when you want to order something. They have now thrown up a beautiful, gray marquee for the Baden trip. eyesore

Very very expensive for minimalist cuisine and expeditious service. For €25/pizza, €6/water, €5/tea, ... we can hope for much better!

Actually everything was great. But it's a shame that there is only 1 child seat for so many tables. Otherwise the food was really tasty and the service was very nice.

The service is catastrophic. Unmotivated, unfriendly and inattentive. You can still pay attention with your hands while sitting at a table for 20 minutes. the staff sees it and ignores it. The greeting is unfriendly and the prices are set according to the mood, no bill is brought, nothing, the waiter says the amount. Unfortunately the incident is not the first time but our visit is the last time. For the incompetent service, I'd rather go to McDonald's or Burgerking, they at least do justice to the price.

The food is overpriced, but the location makes up for it. The salads are tasty. I changed my rating, before I was very unhappy with the service. Today Rumen was a delight and convinced me to come here more often.

Unfriendly, unmotivated, incompetent staff. Food and preparation, nothing outstanding. Not recommended, as you will still receive a friendly welcome at McDonald's, and even the price-performance ratio is more appropriate there. Luckily there are many better and higher quality restaurants in Baden.

At first I wanted to eat ala carte, but then I took the liver with risotto from the daily menu. It was fantastic and it was the first warm day to enjoy the piazza over lunch. I'd love to come back.

The food was once again excellent. Red curry with crispy fried fish fillet. A dream. The only thing that bothered me is the fish skin, I love it very much, but unfortunately it was a bit too salty. Overall it was tasty. The service is, as usual, friendly and nice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍

Pizza is good, in the summer I enjoy a fitness salad, upstairs is interesting because there is a glass at the bottom that imitates a fountain and you can look down at the bar. Surprised today no quattro formaggi which was equally good because half-half two in one can be enjoyed.

The Schwyzerhüsli is probably a passable Italian, but a Thai that can be improved. Our spaghetti carbonara was good, the Thai curry less so - there wasn't much of an authentic flavor to it. Still ok. Relatively friendly service, centrally located.

The restaurant is very central. That's why there is a lot of passenger traffic, which worsens the atmosphere. The fitness plate was generously filled. The quality was good but nothing exceptional.

We got lost here because everything else was full. You can do it once, it's okay, but nothing more. Baden has much more to offer in terms of cuisine.

A handful of salad for 16 francs is too expensive for me. In addition, some of the ravioli were overcooked and some were still raw. But the highlight was the mold in the Parmesan cheese. We didn't even expect compensation in the form of a coffee. In my opinion, this restaurant is not really recommended.

Been in Baden for years. And the service hasn't been the best for years. A smile costs nothing and also motivates the guest. It's fine to have a quick drink, a coffee or something like that is no problem. The pizzas aren't bad either. Now all that's missing is a motivated staff.

Was here a few years ago, everything was great! I was there again recently. The quality has deteriorated extremely. We announced we would be there in an hour. The lady told us that it wouldn't be a problem. So they went there...were sent upstairs by her because there was no more room downstairs. Upstairs the waiter just looked at us, didn't serve us and gave the only seat to the 2 people behind us. I can't understand it at all... Don't go there anymore

Greatly disappointed and feeling insulted for such a rude behavior of the staff. Visited with my family for dinner 2 times and every time the food was bad. The first time pizza was not so bad just not good quality, but second time the food was horrible! Moreover there was dirt on top of a glass, the food was given the wrong way etc. But the most unpleasant was TERRIBLE SERVICE! Extremely rude and unhelpful. Everyone who works there acts like they would rather be somewhere else instead. It shows in both the service and the food. You will never see me eat here again.
