For the main course, I had beef fillet and ribs and it was the best steak I've ever had. The overall atmosphere was so good, including the cozy atmosphere and the nice owner, that I visited for lunch the next day as well. I want to stop by when I go to Lucerne again. My main dishes were beef pilet and ribs, and my best steak ever. I was totally happy that experience and cozy space, nice boss too. So I visited the next lunch time. I hope to visit there again.

Desserts very good. The restaurant is located in a charming place, overlooking the lake and the mountains. You can eat inside and on the balcony.

I really liked this restaurant. Really delicious food, perfectly combined with a beautiful view of the lake and a romantic atmosphere. Very tasty grilled meat and home-made French fries, as well as SeeHause salad. Delicious ice cream or pickled strawberries for dessert. The restaurant has a hall, a terrace with a view of the lake, and everything necessary for guests with babies.

Nice place but they don't have English menu and on hot days there is not enough ventilation

Price-performance still has a lot of room for improvement!!

I ordered a Kitz menu and it was very tasty and better than expected (great French fries)

Excellent grilled meats, tender and tasty accompanied by side dishes of grilled vegetables, couscous, chips and sauces (Bernaise, barbecue, sour cream). The pork ribs cooked at low temperature under vacuum for 12 hours and the fried lake trout are exceptional. Adequate prices for the quality and very friendly staff. Finally, the view of the lake while eating is truly priceless.

Beautiful ambience, extremely friendly and prompt service, enough parking spaces, high-quality and beautifully presented food and a seasonal menu. It certainly has a suitable menu for everyone - from vegans to meat lovers - and at fair prices! I will definitely come back! 😋🌱

The dining experience at the SeeHaus Grill restaurant in Lucerne was simply remarkable! The burgers were incredibly tasty, and the ribs cooked for 12 hours were simply excellent. In addition, the service was warm and available in French. Although there was a bit of a wait to be served, I can assure you that every moment spent there was totally worth it.

The announced grilled vegetables consisted of three corners of almost raw peppers and peas, so I would have expected more.

Excellent food, pleasant atmosphere and impeccable service. We arrived right at closing time and there were 4 of us, the very polite boss saw us and attended to us promptly. Excellent place, very good food. We ordered the Parrilha and nks served it very well. I highly recommend it.

The first impression from the outside was very impressive. However, the mood plummeted when we had to wait half an hour for a service to arrive. The drinks and appetizer came in a tolerable time. However, we had to wait a full hour for our stakes and were very disappointed with the quality of the food. I cannot recommend the restaurant more highly. Price/performance extremely poor, here you really only pay for the view.

There are two stars for the ambience. Otherwise, unfortunately very disappointing. In particular, the service is simply unbearable. One young gentleman in particular tried incredibly hard to attract negative attention - not just with us. Seriously, I have rarely experienced such inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. The food was okay. The menu mainly consists of meat dishes with side dishes. We weren't asked how we wanted the meat, neither for the fillet, flank steak nor for the burger. Mine was too raw for me, the fillet was overcooked. The side dishes (9 people received 3 small bowls of fries) were saved. No asking if you want anything else. You have to try hard yourself. And that at pretty steep prices. All in all: Anyone who wants to pay a lot of money for a great ambience is well served here. If you're looking for good food and service, you're better off elsewhere. A pity.

Very nice location for dinner but not worth it more than 3 stars in my opinion. 3 stars because: - despite few people where eating at the moment, I had to wait for more than an hour for the food, who also was kinda mid compared to the price - they charge 9.5 CHF.- for Tap water?? I mean are you serious? No comment (the location has carried the 3 stars rewiew btw)

It couldn't be more unfriendly....!!! I would have liked to have an aperitif. Was barely greeted, rejected arrogantly and rudely and also called "Everything reserved, no space ..!" This is how "man" treats women, where the waitress probably comes from...... 🤔

There was enough space in the restaurant but it was still advantageous to make a reservation. Normally the service for food is perfect, unfortunately this time the service was very slow and the restaurant was half full. But this is not normally the case, I hope it gets better again. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Very nice place but pricey. Tourists who don’t speak German BEWARE that they will get you a salad as a starter which is not included in your main meal (after we ordered our meals the waiter asked us in German if we wanted salad or something else, we went for the salad thinking it was the side dish but in fact it was a starter charged on top)

Disappointing experience in light of the good reviews, most of which I suspect were written by Swiss locals. By foreign visitor standards the food barely had any flavor or texture, the ribs were clearly reheated rather than grilled from fresh, and the daily fish special was just half of a small fish for quite a lot of money. The service was friendly and the views were nice, but I assume it's just designed for local tastes, so visitors from other countries might be better off dining elsewhere.

The place is very nice and the meat was very good (3-er Parilla). But the service was very slow (despite the restaurant being half empty) and we were shocked to have to pay 14chf for tap water (1 jug + 1 glass), especially as we also ordered some drinks.

We were traveling and Google showed us the lakeside restaurant. Great reviews, nice photos - so we spontaneously went. The restaurant offers a view of the tennis courts on one side (if you like) and the lake on the other side. The restaurant is furnished with great attention to detail. The food is great and the service is also TOP. We'll come again.

A great restaurant with very good cuisine and very friendly staff who really know a lot about wine and spirits (unfortunately that's not always the case). I found the little cart with all sorts of delicious spirits on it particularly funny, but also very helpful. I particularly liked the Old Pear from the Haldihof Distillery and I was even able to take a whole bottle with me!

Beautiful location with a great view and very good value for money. Friendly waiter. However, there are big minus points for the extremely strong smell that came from the open kitchen. After the restaurant visit, everything about us, from our hair to our freshly washed clothes, smelled extremely strong. This is simply a no-go for me and spoils what was actually a good restaurant experience, as it naturally smelled extremely strongly throughout the entire stay. A pity.

Mega! Nice manageable restaurant with a great view and great food! The map is small but nice. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the kitchen is open and therefore the whole restaurant smelled quite strongly.

Very nicely located by the lake, beautiful view and no matter what you order, it tastes delicious. The in-house creation of drinks is also very good. The staff is very accommodating, not intrusive and friendly. I always enjoy coming back, it was already my 4th visit.

I tried this restaurant by chance. I really liked the place, the taste, and the service. The atmosphere was very nice and attractive. From everything, my visit was quick. I ordered a fish dish and it was excellent. I liked this dish very much. I also had vegetable soup. It was one of the most beautiful drinks he had. The views were beautiful, but the weather was so cold that we could not sit outside. The place is very clean. I recommend visiting this restaurant. Unfortunately, my phone does not have a charger and I was not able to photograph the dishes

Great experience at Seehaus Grill in Lucerne Switzerland. The flank Steak was cooked perfectly to my request of medium. The side dishes and sauces were phenomenal. Vegetables were fresh and fries were crunchy. Ambience and service was top notch. Highly recommend this place if visiting Lucerne Switzerland!

Great ambience, friendly service and the tavolata for the aperitif and the Seehausburger were very tasty. The side dishes were disappointing. The four of us had to share a medium portion of French fries and the vegetables that came with each dish were barely edible. It was clearly undercooked and barely seasoned.

Today we took a trip to Lucerne and Lake Lucerne. The pictures of this restaurant appealed to us on the Internet and so we reserved a table there because it took 1.5 hours to get there. Our table was set but unfortunately there were crumbs from previous guests everywhere on the table. At the table diagonally opposite, the floor was full of leftover food, pieces of paper, etc. when they left. It was neither cleared away nor cleaned. When more guests came, they only cleared away the dirt on the floor and the new guests had to climb over it. The table next to us was also newly set, but not even wiped. Stains everywhere. That's what it looked like everywhere. It was really dingy and disgusting. The food was mediocre. The chicken leg was quite good, but the rest was bland. Fries and vegetables were tasteless, so the sauces were needed. The bernaise sauce was a cold, terrible bottled sauce. My husband's spare ribs were very tender, but also very lightly seasoned. This wouldn't be so bad if there had been cruets on the table. The service was friendly but almost non-existent. When we pointed things out in a friendly manner at the end, we weren't really interested. I cannot recommend this restaurant and would never go there again.

Food was amazing. Had the fish with fries, absolutely great. The service is very nice as well and view on the lake was terrific. Loved it!!

I can only recommend the restaurant, it is absolutely worth a visit. Four of us had dinner and we were all thrilled with the food as well as the service staff and the boss. We received a warm welcome and were repeatedly asked if we would like anything else. We will definitely visit the Seehaus Grill restaurant again and recommend it to others.

Had dinner with my family and it was just great. Warm welcome, good service, what more could you want 😋

I was really a fan of the restaurant until a week ago. The service has always been top and so has the food. Unfortunately not on our last visit. I had reserved a table for 6:30 p.m. for two people. As soon as we arrived, we heard a large group of people on the terrace. When it moved from the terrace to the restaurant, conversation at the table for two became impossible. After being seated, we waited probably 10 minutes until we received the card and could order drinks. It generally took a long time, including until we received the main course. (approx. 1.5 hours) My companion and I both had the spare ribs and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately mine were so greasy that I had to leave more than half of them on the plate. My companion's flesh was cold. The side dishes and sauces were as delicious as always. All in all, unfortunately not a great evening. Either you can manage a restaurant with a larger group or you can close the restaurant to a private group. It's a shame for the price we paid.

To avoid at all cost. 1h wait, unfriendly service. 64 CHF for a small plate with 1 cutlet that looked more like a small dog bone. Go somewhere else for a nice meal. Very disappointed

So slow - can’t believe how SLOW this is

There were 10 of us and we chose the Menu Parrilla. According to the menu there should have been 250g of meat and seafood...that was a maximum of 150g and this at a price of Fr. 72 per person. I understand every tourist who is shocked by this pricing culture. I give the one star for the beautiful location

Nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere + wheelchair accessible (lift, no thresholds to the lakeside terrace, but no adapted toilets). Very friendly and attentive staff, the food and drinks were extremely tasty. We are thrilled and will definitely come back.

We have been to the Seehaus for the first time with a reservation. The restaurant was almost full, so it's not a bad idea to make a reservation for dinner during the weekend. We started with a Seehaus salad: the salad and sauce were very good, but there was a little too much sauce. The plate, even if we ordered the starter, was very long. Then the house specialty: the grill for two people. We have chosen the option with five pieces of meat and octopus and it came with vegetables, sauces, fries and a salad of glasses. The face was good, with grilled flavor. And the vegetables with quite a bit of variation. And for dessert: ice cream. These were very good too; Even if you don't want to dine there, having ice cream in the summer with a view of the lake sounds great!

Four of us booked a table for dinner at short notice. The service, food and the atmosphere were all excellent. The Seehaus offers something a bit different to what is available with many of the other restaurants in Luzern both in terms of the food on offer and the atmosphere. We really enjoyed it our evening.

Good food with a great ambience. Meat was optimal and cooked to the right degree. Unfortunately the prices are a little higher in comparison and it took a relatively long time until we got the food. Otherwise worth a visit!

High prices but absolutely worth it. Kudos to the super nice staff. Eaten outside in a light wind, protected from the sun. The prices are high, the plates (main course) are small. But we can reorder fries and vegetables with discretion. The small salad for the starter was mega big👍🏼. The meal was delicious. Until then I didn't like fennel. He was fine with you👏🏼.

The only good thing about this place is the venue and view. The food was edible, but bland, and the portions of the shared sauce and side dishes were tiny. The service was really bad, the staff ignored us most of the night, and forgot to bring us things like napkins and items we ordered. The staff seemed young and inexperienced, one even dropped a plate of food, spilling it all over the table (an accident, but still..)

I was at the Seehaus Lucerne today. The view is magnificent. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and responded to our wishes. The food was super tasty and the drinks were also very high quality. I can recommend it to everyone.
