Barley soup in an IKEA jar, mixed salad consisted of green lettuce and some corn… given the prices you would expect something different! A pity My family and I have been skiing in Laax for over 30 years, my comment has not gone astray!

We stopped at this place for lunch. However, we ended up not ordering anything as the salad bar looks empty and tired and also could not find much gluten-free options.

Since mobile ordering was introduced here, the service has worked flawlessly.

Very nicely located hut. For decades we have always stopped here before the last descent into the valley.

Currently the construction site for Flem Express is on our doorstep.

Today during the biggest storm the 2 hosts were super friendly and helpful. They even offered the tumbler to guests who were wet down to their underwear after a surprise thunderstorm. TOP! Thank you 2! 🫶👍

Hi. Sorry for not elaborating on my review earlier. The 3* note is because although the great and nice service, the amazing view and location, I would have expected better food experience, specially as the cabin is the only restaurant in the area with large amounts of visitors as it looked when we visited there. Other than the fries which were good, everything else wasn't much interesting and there was not much diversification in the menu. We travel a lot in the mountains and usually, remote alone standing restaurants has some special local delights which are less basic than the "usual swiss mountain cabin menu". I hope you'll take this review as a note to improve and I'm sure you'll be great! Would love to visit again in case the menu would change :)

We, the Zürcher Oberland Ski and Snowboard School, stayed overnight in the Segneshütte at the beginning of April 2023. We were warmly welcomed and had a very good dinner and breakfast. The rooms are functional and very clean. The bathrooms are great. We really enjoyed the hours in the Segneshütte! We'd love to come back!

I recently visited Segeneshütte and overall, my experience was just okay. While the location was quite lovely and the staff were friendly, I was left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The amenities were limited and I felt that the place could use some updating. However, if you're looking for a simple and quiet place to stay in the area, Segeneshütte may be a good option. But if you're looking for a more luxurious experience, you may want to consider other options. Overall, I would rate my experience a 3 out of 5 stars.

Winter 2022/2023: Top service, very fast delivery of fresh food. Price/performance very reasonable: A sumptuous lunch menu for 22 euros, large portions. Highly recommended: barley soup, Ghackets&Hörnli, Maluns (with fine local mountain cheese) or simply the daily menu. You can tell that the food is freshly cooked here. We would like to come again.

I visited Segneshütte for the first time when I was hiking in the area this summer and I had a great experience. The restaurant has a beautiful view. The food is excellent and my favorite thing to eat there is Capuns. They're delicious! Plus, they are integrated with the LAAX app so you can order through the app now! Overall, it's an excellent place to go and I recommend you try it out too.

last minute decision to book to sleep under the stars July 17th. Equipment is all new an high quality, the location is perfect, a rim of mountains that the sun sinks behind as stars very slowly appear. Total silence, not many places that you can get that. Very friendly hosts, good food on the whole, big views, big dog, big waterfalls and beautiful flowers, walk it or gondola it......the choice is yours. Dinner, sleeping bag and breakfast , bus and gondola pass CHF 140........how can you go wrong? Thanks for the opportunity for such a wonderful experience.

The toilets are super clean and modernized. Otherwise, I unfortunately have to agree with the negative reviews. You order digitally, the service staff don't hear “Gruezi, hello, please/thank you or goodbye” from their lips. Fries totally over-salted and overpriced... VERY BAD!!!! In the future we would rather have a picnic than eat there again.

We always enjoy coming to the Segneshütte. We generally have no problem with digital ordering. Only if the service employee serves the drink and doesn't say hello, greetings or thank you... We ordered 5x the chicken tenders and paid 25 chf. Each. A bit later a waitress came out to let us know they were out of the tenders so coincidentally we ordered chicken nuggets instead. We received 5x chicken nuggets at 15 chf. Each. When we asked wheren the difference off 50 chf. Went thet told us we received the adult portion of chicken nuggets which is completely false. After a big fuss we received the money.

Unfortunately a disappointment, we give the hut a new chance every year (as it used to be our favorite hut), but again only bad food. Spaetzli were rather rubbish, fries were expensive and B-products. Cake small and dry. Sad, knowing how it once was... at least the view is nice, but the stars (and the dog)

The Gasthaus Segnes is a good starting point for the Martinsloch. The rooms are very spacious.

Prices are rather high due to the remote location. But I've rarely had such a delicious "run of the mill" bratwurst with fries! And beware of the certificate examiner! 😜

Today we visited the Segneshütte again. We drank 2 coffees and enjoyed an apricot tart with a wonderful view. We were very happy with the service, the coffee and the cream. We then made a small suggestion for improvement to the “hut warden”. He accepted this suggestion favorably and responded professionally. Just as I would recommend to many “stainers”. We will be back and wish the “Segnes-Hütten-Team” continued success!

A few days ago we hiked across the Segnasboden to the Segneshütte and made a stop there. Service very friendly. Unfortunately the food was not satisfactory. I know that the prices in the mountain huts are a bit more expensive and I'm happy to pay, even though CHF9.00 for a bottle of Rivella is a steep price. What really bothered me, however, was that the food I ordered didn't correspond to the description on the menu. Unfortunately, the portion of schnitzel fries only had 1 schnitzel and very few French fries on the plate. I also received a salad instead of the vegetables advertised. The waitress just said that the salad would taste great too. Unfortunately not the answer you expected... Next time I'd rather have a picnic.

Very nice view and the impressive Segnesboden can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Definitely worth a trip, but not for the food. This is flown up by helicopter and therefore cannot be prepared as freshly as in other huts. The nut cake was rather dry. The toilets are very clean, there is a changing table (only in the women's toilet) and the guest room is old but well maintained.
