We took a break here after the Pinut via ferrata, drank a beer, ate apple strudel and apple cakes. Everything was great, the staff was nice and the prices were okay. We can recommend the Berghaus Bargis for a break during the hike.

We shared a rosti and an ice coffee. The lady was super nice and the view was amazing.

Halfway down the Via Ferrata of Pinut and Fidaz, good inn serving fresh local cuisine including Capuns. Large Terrace. Good choice of Appenzeller beer. Friendly and fast service. Accepts credit cards.

Beautiful view, great Bündner food (Capuns is tasty and authentic, so is the Bündnergerstesuppe the barley soup) and friendly staff. All of what you need after a day of Nordic skiing.

We were in the “Bergrestaurant Bargis” on January 29th, 2023, we consumed: 1 cup of café, 1 “hot chocolate”, 1/2 liter of mineral water and 1 portion of apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Cost: 30.00 Chf. Even by local standards it's an absolute shambles. Strongly avoided.

Great, I was very surprised that the food was so good in such a remote corner. The staff was also very friendly and answered our questions. Gladly again.

After a long hike, stop at Berghaus Bargis and wait for the bus to Flims - great! We were there three times, each time great service and delicious food in a wonderful environment.

Unfortunately, the high plateau was in fog when we visited.

Service very friendly but very slow. The kitchen closed at 4:30 p.m. and you can't even get a salsiz with cheese anymore.

Delicious food and friendly, courteous service staff. This mountain restaurant offers a beautiful view of the mountain scenery. In winter there is a very nice cross-country ski trail here and you can reach this plateau by bus.

Summer and winter a point of great attraction.

It was a great stop just before the summit on our mountain bikes. However it only had a back room with beverages, sweets and own cheese. At the time we visited in October, it was only self service. Nevertheless it was nice to eat something after such demanding ascent.

Wonderful mountain restaurant with a gigantic mountain backdrop and a great view. Very friendly and helpful service, selection of food was absolutely sufficient - some with daily specials. Reasonably priced - card payment possible. Children's playground quite decent; Highly recommended: there is a beautiful viewpoint into the Rhine Valley about 10 minutes away!

Nice mountain inn in fabulous surroundings. Only accessible on foot or by public bus. After a round of cross-country skiing, we treated ourselves to a portion of fries including two non-alcoholic drinks - take away. It took a while for the fries to be ready - a sign that they were freshly prepared. Since we didn't ask about the prices, we were a little surprised by the almost 20 francs. But the fries were very tasty.

Ich war an einen nebligen Oktobernachmittag der einzige Gast. Die Aussicht wäre sicher toll und das Restaurant ist mit dem Postauto zu erreichen. Ich kam mit dem Fahrrad und gönnte mir eine Aprikosenwähe. Diese war fein und der Service aufmerksam und unaufdringlich.

The Berghaus Bargis is an ideal refreshment station both in summer for all mountain tourers who have either conquered the Pinut via Flimserstein, hiked over the Fuorcla Rachaglius through the Bargis high valley or come from the whirlpools of Alp Mora, as well as for all cross-country skiers in winter. Bargis can also be reached by shuttle.

Die bestellte Gerstensuppe war fad und dünn. Der Wurstsalat mit ungepflegten grünen Blättern garniert und einer sauren Sauce. Die Bedienung war gut.

We had coffee and Gipferli after the arduous descent from the via ferrata. Very nice staff and gigantic scenery.

Gut und schöne Terrasse. Die Menüs sind sehr groß. Die Menüs von guter Qualität. Die Abstandsregeln werden Streng durchgesetzt, super. Waren letztes Jahr auch hier. Das Personal ist freundlicher geworden. Jedoch die Preise sind halt Hier in der Region Flims einfach am Obern Preissegment. Schade.

Very cold in the restaurant despite there being a lot of people. And warm food served on a cold plate. Too bad 🙈🙈🙈

Taking the time to reach this "secret" valley high above Flims was truly rewarding! What majestic and imposing scenery - with clear skies, the peaceful setting offers some of the most spectacular experiences the swiss alps can offer! At the mouth of this valley sits a simple but superb restaurant at the trailhead of a private road, one can only reach this either by walking in or taking the public transportation! Sitting outside in February on the sheltered southside basking in the sun on comfortable chairs and benches, the kitchen serves a small but delicious dishes and beverages at great value, the service is superfriendly and not overwhelmed, even when all seats were taken! The valley the heaven for crosscountry sking and that explains why there is a small crowd up here on a wonderful Saturday in February! Not to compare with the massive scale and infrastructure of alpine skying, cross-country skying is a "soft" alpine sport that deserves all the compliments, as it does not tax the environement with with noisy croweds in the thousands romping among massive infrastructure and maintains respects for the natural beauty and is in harmony with these wonderful mountains! It is a great athletic activity that does not require tremendous equipment and clothing (like alpine skying) and is absolutly perfect for all ages and stamina, the pace is set by the individual to match the need and the energy challenges of each skier! Decided to come back for a week next winter, as the Berghaus offers simple lodging as well! Already looking forward to this.

Simply always beautiful! Great panorama and fine food

Good home-style cooking. Fast service and friendly staff. I can recommend soup of the day and Graubünden specialties. The post bus stops in front of the door. That's perfect. We got there on foot from Flims. 2 hour march. Then back with the post bus.

After hiking, it's worth taking a short break here, the cakes are delicious and the staff is friendly.
