We spontaneously went to Seven and enjoyed a very nice evening. From the excellent service to the excellent food, everything was perfect. The only downside: The "Seven" doesn't open until 7:30 p.m., although many guests would be ready to eat at seven...

We were there as a group, made reservations and pre-ordered food. Everything went wonderfully, the atmosphere on the balcony is unique and the food is fantastic. The staff was very accommodating, we felt comfortable. There were also good options for allergy sufferers. Highly Recommended!

5-course tasting menu with wine pairing. Positive points: location, amazing sushi, top appetizer and table service! Negative points: good but banal wines served, nothing sophisticated. As a second course, a poorly cooked lamb was served, a little dry, really not up to par. For dessert, a muffin with a scoop of ice cream was served (not even worth commenting on). The last negative point, the classic paper napkin as in the most classic of trattorias. The evening overall was pleasant, also because the guys in the room were very kind, and the location was truly unsurpassed in Lugano.

Generally very good food and service, in a nice setting with beautiful views of the lake. The octopus and cod foam appetizers were very good, the rib eye was excellent, and the tiramisu was delicious. They also served us gluten free bread that was pretty good.

Fab view on a gorgeous day in Lugano. Warm service and excellent food , pairings. We shared spring risotto, grilled octopus and a sushi platter. Our original pour of Franciacorta was a little flat but the staff replaced the glasses after a brief pause. Wine prices are quite high by the bottle so best to come along with friends. Book ahead and request outdoor dining upstairs. We’ll be back this summer!

Overall nice restaurant. We felt like the menu did not have any specific genre. We took the tasting menu, the dishes were rather small. Some of them were really good (beef tartare!) and some of them were only good looking but not amazing (sushi). For dessert they served us two of the same dish, lemon pie that was ok but we thought it could be better to share two different deserts instead. Overall it was a good experience. A meal for two with 5 courses and a bottle of wine costs us a little over 250 Francs (not sure how it is relatively to other good restaurants in the area). Make sure to book a table by the window and not inside.

Good club. I think it's definitely in the top 3. Warm drinks in the lounge are a no go! That was the third time now. For 350 a bottle, please cool the drinks!! Otherwise fine.

Very good dinner, fillet cooked to perfection rare, as requested, it melted in the mouth, tagliatelle with pesto done as it should, with potatoes and green beans. Delicious desserts, tiramisu and top chocolate cake. The view is also spectacular, even from the elevator. Very friendly staff.

Excellent location, especially if you have the privilege of having dinner or lunch on the very romantic terrace overlooking the lake. The wine list is excellent, enthusiasts are spoiled for choice, excellent food, very interesting indeed.

The staff was very accommodating. The burgers were too dry, the meat was more than "bien cuite" and the buns already had a roasted aroma, without any salad prepared without any love. There was no way they were worth $39. It's a shame about the beautiful location

The lake view from above is noteworthy, a beautiful terrace but also the internal room. Great service, slightly limited choice on some days. Good dishes, with careful plating at not cheap prices.

A cozy bar with a wonderful view of Lake Lugano, which is just a stone's throw away on the other side of the street. We were enjoying a delicious mojito and a few beers when suddenly a huge platter of goodies was placed on the table. Offered by the host (seems to be common) for which you can easily leave 20 CHF on the table elsewhere. Thank you very much for that! Unfortunately, the seat cushions outside have a lot of burn holes, but this hardly dampens the mood once you sit down.

You can go out to eat, but you don't have to. All that remains in memory is the risotto and the beautiful view. It's just very touristy, you eat and then the next person comes along. Can you blame them for that, no, but certainly not if you really want good food. Service ok.

This is the restaurant in the center of Lugano with the most beautiful view of the lakefront. Clearly a little more expensive than other restaurants, which cannot boast such a view. Excellent service, as well as the quality of the food. Definitely worth a visit, or even more than one.

Risotto creamed in olive oil (vegan version) with truffle, exceptional view of Lake Lugano (among the most beautiful Swiss terraces), excellent. With prices more in line it would deserve 5 stars.

Food was really delicious, service very professional and view is of course great. We stopped here by chance using Michelin guide on a way to Zurich, but would like to go back. They had tasting menu, looking very interesting, unfortunately we could not take it due to lack of time. So I just took starter (octopus) and main course (pasta with lobster) ala cart .. my company took octopus too and then some seafood plate.. all was really tasty and nice presentation ❤️

Me and my friends are good and regular customers of Seven in Lugano. We were always satisfied with the service and the atmosphere as well as the cleanliness, so much so that it wasn't inconvenient for us to drive the long way from Lucerne to Lugano just to consume what we could have consumed in Lucerne, by the way. Today we were deeply disappointed, the service was a disaster, the cleanliness and the atmosphere were unrecognizable. Nick, the server asked for my ID, since I didn't have it with me, I showed him pictures from my cell phone and other documents that prove that I'm 25, he insisted not to give me an alcoholic drink because I didn't have a physical card with me We ordered 3 Hugos and a Red Bull. I exchanged my drink with the one friend then he came to our table. Since I didn't want to break her rule I asked him for 3 cups so we could leave, he drank the entire Hugo in one The cup was half as high and everything overflowed onto the table. I've never been served so disrespectfully, so I told Nick that I wouldn't pay for this, he told me it was only 10ml and became very hectic, took the drinks away and asked us to leave the Seven. You had lost customers until the end for Seven and today, a shame for your reputation.

The food was very tasty and the service was very attentive. The location and view are simply great.

Had another visit to soak up the sun here. I was surprised they don’t offer sushi on Mondays and Tuesdays. So I had to settle w Italian food. I have to say, the Italian dishes are not that great. What’s up w all that potato sauce in a lobster pasta? It was excellent in every way, the view from the terrace w the sun, the service attentive, the food super, the interior elegant and modern. Totally recommend this place!

Location and food top - service flop The view over the lake is phenomenal and the quality of the food is impeccable. Unfortunately, the service was very poor on the day we visited. We had to refill our own wine. We had to “organize” the dessert menu ourselves. No attention from the staff. We weren't said goodbye as we left. It's a shame even though we live in Lugano - we probably won't come back.

Update: The waiter tried to reap us off by lying about the price of the bottle of wine. Bought a wine for 50ish swiss franc, and the bills came with '76'. When we tried to point out their ignorant mistake, we have to argue with the waiter as the impolite and unprofessional waiter insisted that the price is correct--even if we showed them the price on the wine list as a proof. They didn't even apologise sincerely. We are utterly unpleased with this service, and the waiter and waitress really need to learn how to serve better, and most importantly, not to argue with the customer when they're clearly on the wrong side. In fact, I think they should not even charge the dish they made wrongly. Definitely not recommended going here. Total disappointment. I gave it a three stars because the dessert was good and the wine was really nice. One of the main dish we ordered, the bream, was also good. However, for the tuna I ordered, it wasn't cooked at all. I then asked them to send it to the kitchen to have it cooked, but then it was still uncooked when the waitress served the dish to me. A two star therefore is deducted due to the apparent ignorance of the request. It's not like the food is extremely cheap. It's not. Therefore the dining experience wasn't great. Especially when you're paying 52 Swiss franc for a dish you asked to be made properly twice--which still came back wrong.

Schöne Sushiplatten.Ansonsten zu kleine Karte, dafür waren aber die Preise im obersten Segment.Kein Touristenort, eher für NeureicheDas Essen war in Ordnung.Hätte wärmer sein KönnenNicht für Familien.Abendessen Suhl für zwei Personen würde ich empfehlen.Der Service war gut.

La mia ragazza ha deciso di portarmi qua a cena, io non c'ero mai stato, lei si. Tramite l'ascensore che parte dalla terrazza della lounge sottostante si arriva alla terrazza esterna del ristorante, che d'estate immagino possa essere davvero bellissima, con la vista direttamente sul lago. All'interno il ristorante è molto elegante, grande e spazioso. I tavoli sono disposti in modo tale che tra un tavolo e l'altro ci sia la giusta distanza che permetta di mantenere la propria intimità. Bellissime le vetrate che danno verso il lago e che permettono ai clienti di godere di una splendida vista sul lago, ed anche l'arredamento interno rende il locale molto elegante. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. Il menu è particolare ed intrigante, chiaramente si tratta di un ristorante che punta a proporre una cucina gourmet, ed i prezzi lo certificano. Viste le grandi aspettative, devo però dire che l'antipasto mi ha un po' deluso (mousse di burrata, succo di pomodoro e basilico). La mousse aveva un sapore purtroppo molto distante dalla classica burrata, inoltre il succo di pomodoro assomigliava al succo di pomodoro speziato che ti offrono su alcuni aerei. Non sgradevole, ma mi aspettavo di più a livello di gusto, mentre la presentazione molto carina. Fortunatamente si sono ripresi alla grande con il piatto principale (lombata di capriolo, zucca, castagne, spätzli e cavoletti di Bruxelles). La carne era cotta alla perfezione (al sangue come l'avevo richiesta) ed era molto buona, i contorni con la salsa erano anch'essi davvero molto buoni, complimenti!Infine, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è giusto, chi decide di andare a mangiare in un locale del genere deve sapere ed essere d'accordo ad un livello dei prezzi maggiore rispetto alla media. Dunque, una bella serata e ristorante che consiglio a tutti, soprattutto alle coppie!

Best Chateaubriand ever, would definitely recommend this place even if it’s a bit expensive, you will get what you pay for ! The way to arrive to the restaurant is really unique too (you use an elevator to go up) and the very nice view is a big plus ! I will probably come back if i’m in Lugano once again.

Das Futter war nicht das Alleinige, was in diesem Gasthaus für große Augen sorgt! Ich probiere echt enorm gerne neue Restaurants aus und bin laufend auf der Recherche nach neuen Gaststätten, aber diesem Gasthaus werde ich treu bleiben.Mein Mann und ich finden die Preise ebenfalls völlig Fair.Die Sitzplätze wurden anständig gesäubert und die Sitzgelegenheiten waren überaus bequem.Schneller und netter Service. Ich finde, dass das gesamte Personal dort einen guten Job gemacht hat.
