Pure nostalgia. Very good food and friendly team! Lovely again.

I had a silver bify with cheese without any side dish (chips) and cola. There's a lot going on during lunchtime, so unfortunately there are medium-long waiting times. The waitresses are very friendly. Burgers are really tasty and filling. Price performance completely okay. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere but the round chairs are quite hard and painful if you sit for a long time. With several people at the table, you feel a bit cramped. Apart from that, I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

It's such a shame that there's only this one silver bullet restaurant left in Zurich and there's a disgusting kebab stall on every corner. The entire staff is always friendly, nice and attentive. It's just like the good old days!

Friendly service. One of the last remaining diners. The silver beef with the cocktail sauce and the unparalleled fine coleslaw salad is cult. It's nice that you can also order a glass of wine with it.

There's a good reason why Silberkugel only has a few locations left compared to the past... Price points are relatively high compared to direct competition and to be honest, there's really nothing special about the place except the diner-like decor if that's your thing. Burgers are average at best and fries mediocre.

The ambience is very old school and makes you feel nostalgic. Food is for a small budget and I like to go there every now and then when I want to eat something small and don't want to spend a lot of money. Service very friendly and nice.

Ambience classic silver ball. You sit in front of large U-shaped tables on swivel chairs and are served like in an American film. The bugs, from silver beef to chicken burgers to farmer beef, are all incredibly tasty. I liked the farmer beefy the most with its very tasty sauce. Otherwise very open and friendly staff. Gladly again.

FINALLY! I felt like old times. Yay! I found another silver bullet with my Beefy Original!

Whenever I go to the market in Zurich Oerlikon on a Saturday, I love going to the Silberkugel alone to let myself be pampered. A restaurant manager who is always incredibly well-positioned always has very good suggestions, but doesn't force anything on you and carefully listens to the customer's mood and, at least for me, gets it right every time, even if it means a lot of work for him every now and then . Today, shortly after 6 a.m., for example, I ordered 2 silver Bifi with lids from him in advance, each with two fried eggs and a nut salad with egg and it was so sensational that a freshly squeezed orange juice went with it. The orange juice wasn't too cold either and could therefore be enjoyed straight away and the aroma really developed at a normal temperature. I can only speak for myself when I add here that you feel like you've been transported back at least 30 years in a very positive way when you're in a silver ball and somehow the customers behave accordingly, because everyone sits there and revels in it, even if they're not directly in it Thinks, somehow in the past, where the existence of silver bullets was still common practice. But in Oerlikon in particular, the goods are always particularly fresh. The service is really excellent and people are served with emphasis and there has never been even the slightest thing to complain about and you are always happy when you come from Lake Zurich and go to the market there and then treat yourself to something in the same silver ball, which is usually the case Anyway, it's more than you actually wanted at first. Nevertheless, it tastes great every time and you come away feeling full and satisfied every time. And what could be nicer?!

Saturday morning around 8 a.m. I was there to buy the very fine ham and cheese Sandwitch. A long-time employee welcomed me in a friendly and well-positioned manner, which is very rare in Zurich. The Sandwitch were actually much more lovingly, deliciously and professionally prepared, like the ones at the Silberkugel on Bleicherweg.

Simply still the best burgers in town.

The Silver Ball is still as I enjoyed visiting it in the 80s. The silver beefy still tastes as good as it did back then!

For me this is the perfect restaurant for breakfast: relaxed atmosphere, uncomplicated, pleasant and communicative staff, good food. Might not be for everyone but I truly loved it, they made me feel like home somehow.

The restaurant specializes in burgers and offers a good selection of different burgers. The food was delicious and juicy. Although the menu was limited to burgers, there were enough options to satisfy all tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful and ensured orders were taken and prepared quickly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming, which helped you feel comfortable and enjoy the food.

The Silberkugel in Zurich Oerlikon is one of the last two of its kind - really retro without the chic and with friendly service. The legendary Beefy is available in many different variations. In summer there is a small garden with tables for (short?) rest.

My weekly highlight on Saturday: Breakfast in the Silberkugel Oerlikon, with Kjemal Bajrami. Today, at the end of the year, something a little more lavish. Silver beefy with cheese, bacon and fried egg with herb sauce. It's a dream!

I think you can't appreciate the Silberkugel if you didn't grow up at a time when McDonalds was only present in 2 locations, and Silberkugel and Cindy were the only providers of burgers in Switzerland. When I discovered after a good 30 years that the silver bullet in Oerlikon, which I regularly visited as a teenager in the 80s, was still there, I had to pay a visit. I was speechless, the same tables and swivel stools, the same marble floor and brown ceiling tiles, the same round window openings, exactly the same chrome steel kitchen furnishings, the red and white tiles, everything has remained the same and yet maintained since the 60s. A journey into the past, in an incredibly fast-moving time where everything, especially in Zurich, is being razed to the ground. The Biffys were still just as good, I hope that this historic place doesn't soon fall victim to the millenials' desire for the future...

Silver ball has always been a pleasure for 40 years! Mr. Prader from Mövenpick launched the Silver Bullets. It's a shame some are closed! What was the name of the hamburger with the herb sauce again or was it herb butter “Beefy”?
