Spice Village in Dübendorf

The overly friendly waiter was extremely pushy and tried to sell us an additional dish, supposedly a recommendation from the house. However, not only were the shrimp at Karahi extremely hard and almost inedible, but also the chicken tikka masala did not reach the level of taste that you would expect for this price. The naan was also just average. The low point occurred when we unpacked the food at home because there was too much. Everything had been thrown messily into leaky Styrofoam, causing the contents to spill and stain the floor of my car. NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered from here multiple times. The Aloo Saag, and the Palak Panneer were delivious. Garlic naan had a couple of large chunks of garlic which were a bit annoying. The food was really good. Delivery was within the suggested window on uber eats. Will be ordering more from here :)

Top food and friendly service. We ate the Village Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Naan Bread.

The food is good but the portion is very small. You pay 40 CHF for a small portion of meat and you also have to pay an extra 6 CHF for a little bread. I've been to other Indian restaurants in Zurich and Bern where I got better food and a larger portion for less money. That's why I see it like this: Eat good Service: OK Price: too high

Wonderful excellent quality authentic Indian food. Tried the village chicken tikka massala, chicken vindaloo, chicken mandy. Very good service from a jovial and friendly server. We were offered a mango lassi. The restaurant is situated inside an older style swiss house. Inside features low ceilings with wooden beams. Using interior decorations, a pleasant atmosphere is created with exotic touches. Parking is in front/ to the side of the house (depends on your viewing angle), on spaces next to the road. Pay attention to the curb when entering the parking. On busy days parking facility may be full.

Have had a couple of takeaways from here but this was our first visit to the restaurant. Had a very nice cottage feel and both the service and food were excellent. Not many side options if you don’t eat bread or rice but apart from that it was spot on.

We ordered food multiple times, on the promotion on Uber eats and without the offer. Everytime the delivery was quick, food delicious and portions big. Definitely our number one of Indian restaurants in Zurich. Hope it will stay like this!

Unfortunately, our favorite restaurant is closed during Covid. And we've been looking for a new Indian restaurant for a long time. I can say it tonight. We have found our new favorite restaurant. We ordered via justeat.ch and it was simply fantastic. We look forward to visiting the restaurant in person soon. That's why I'm giving it 5 stars because it was simply great and I will recommend you!

My companion and I were in Indian gourmet heaven all evening long <3, indescribably fantastically delicious and fresh food as well as extremely courteous owners and great service. There is also a large, delicious selection of vegetarian dishes. A real insider tip! We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to the incredibly fine food. I used Spice Village catering for an event with over 100 people. The food was delicious, the flavour was authentic and all guests from different backgrounds enjoyed. The staff were punctual, flexible, polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for authentic Pakistani or Indian food and hosting a big event.

Absolutely wonderful! The food was extremely excellent. Recommend it 100%. Staff is very friendly and genuine. We had eaten so well that we were really full. Food taste great and I can really feel that the food was made of love. Like taste of grand mother or mom’s home-made food which I find really rare here! Thanks for the extra salads and services as well 👍👏 Samosa was crunchy and Tandoori chicken taste really good!

We have already ordered several times and have been to the restaurant. The food is super delicious! The delivery times are short, the scope is always right. Amazing food. Best Indian food I gave eaten in Switzerland. We have ordered 3 times already and will order again. Quality of the food is superb. Only slightly negative is that they were over whelmed by the amount of people/orders. So was a bit slower. But they stayed friendly throughout

Went there for dinner. Cozy atmosphere. Extremely motivated, courteous and fast service employees. There is a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The food was delicious, but could have been a little spicier for our taste 😅 We are happy that there is a good Indian restaurant in Dübi and will definitely come back soon🤗

We spent a wonderful summer evening in the small outdoor area of ​​the restaurant (better make a reservation). Everything seemed to me to be very lovingly decorated with beautiful lamps, plants, candles and Indian music. 🕯️The food was wonderfully arranged and very tasty. 👍🏼 However, it is a bit spicy, but also doable for inexperienced spicy eaters. There is rice and Nan bread to balance things out. 😅 There is also a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options. 👍🏼 The service was extremely attentive, very friendly but not intrusive. We liked it very much. We'll definitely come back again.

Best Indian food I've ever had, everything from the starter to the main course for me and my girlfriend was fantastic, we didn't know where else to eat, everything tasted better, a real taste explosion. Service was also extremely accommodating and we didn't miss anything.☺️🙏

Amazing and flavorful food, much better than expected! It's definitely a hidden gem in this area and we'll come again. The service was a bit slow but it was also busy on a Friday night.

Best Indian food I know! I'm not really a fan of Indian food, but this restaurant with the wonderful, friendly host really impressed me! The mega-fine bread is made over the fire! The different curries are so delicious and very flavorful! I'm still trying it out and I'm looking forward to my next visit! Namaste
