Great indoor pool, good for distance swimming and then relaxing in the outdoor spa

It's not clean, it's expensive compared to other places, it's not comfortable in any way.

Very great especially for very young babies and children. Because the water there is warm enough for the little ones. And the Indor sports pool at 27 degrees is perfect for long swimming.

Cafeteria has the usual nuggets, fries, pasta, burger ,currywurst, hot dog, fish n chips, etc. Picnic allowed in the indoor pool too, there's a separate area for this. Nice baby pool, kids pool, adults pool, diving pool with high diving boards (and a climbing wall) , and jacuzzi. One medium sized and one big slide in the indoor pool. Do not know if there are slides in the outdoor pool and garden. Ample paid parking in the premises.

I was here with my 2 year old son. My son doesn't like it at all when the water is too cold. The water temperature here is perfect. He was immediately happy to be able to get into the water. We both found the outdoor areas appealing and very beautiful. However, you are only allowed in here without a swimming aid, which is not a problem. The baby pool is also beautifully designed and is fun for the children. I wasn't in the other two pools.

Employees are in a bad mood and extremely rude. Don't come here again.

Great offer for everyone! Beautiful, warm, outdoor wellness facility with bubbles and jets. Garden pool: Large meadows with lots of shade trees, very beautiful. And the toddler area is really great too! The super-ready slide (for young and old) is also fun. Indoor pool: it has 4 great pools for all ages as well as 2 slides, climbing wall and diving towers. Well, I know a lot of swimming pools in Baselland and Aargau, but my daughter wants to go to the Gitterli the most!

Early swimming is offered. However, there is no longer a self-checkout! It is therefore not possible to purchase a ticket without having to go through the hassle of calling the lifeguard and telling him to unlock the door. This person will take your ID so that the payment can be taken care of later when the cash register is open (from 7:30 a.m.). The QR code from the voucher was not accepted by the turnstile, which was solved on site. Absolute regression.

The only drawback is that children in the wellness pool jump around and scream in a relaxation area. It doesn't work at all.

I am very grateful for the early opening hours. In the morning everything is nice and clean. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case in the women's shower and hairdryer area in the afternoon. It would be good if cleaning was done in the afternoon too. The staff is friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the opportunity that swimming has for my mobility, fitness and health.

Very great offer, both for athletes and families. The small restaurant also has a nice little offer for the little hungry as well as for the larger ones with always a lunch menu. The store offers a large selection of swimwear and accessories. The ambient temperature is very pleasant and also in the non-swimmer pools. And the outdoor pool is great for relaxing in the warm water.

The Badi is a great place where you can have a lot of fun as a whole family with indoor and outdoor pools, slides, climbing walls, parkour obstacles and much more. Prices are fair. I would particularly like to highlight the good restaurant. You can eat very well here at a reasonable price and the portions are large. I had the chicken breast menu with avocados and tomatoes plus a separate salad. Simply delicious.

Easily accessible just after the motorway. There are enough parking spaces available. There are even 2 charging stations. Basically, you can swim in the garden pool in the summer season and in the indoor pool all year round. It has various slides, swimming pools, diving boards, restaurants and a small shop both inside and outside. There are also gymnastics clubs there as well as aquaristics. See program. However, you should stay with them Avoid the indoor pool during peak times.

One of the Best indoor and outdoor swimming pool around Basel. Indoor swimming pool available even in the summer with hot water. Large area and different swimming options. Specially for kids . Price is reasonable and worth for the price. There is a in house restaurant and prices are reasonable.

Great pool, we were there today, it was very cheap (13.- 1 person 2 teens) as only the outside area was open. The food in the restaurant is super delicious. Fresh salad plate with super fine sauce. The kids also raved about the fries, nuggets and hot dog. Nice staff in general. Changing area could be clean.

The e-shop for online tickets still doesn't work, as of July 2023. I can't create my own login and I can't reset my password either. It works without your own login, but the ticket is not recognized at the turnstile. No wonder the queues are very long; in the heat you sometimes have to wait for over 10 minutes in the blazing sun until you can finally buy your ticket at the ticket office. Things were much better before with the machines.

Price-performance is simply not right! The lifeguard is probably also the accountant.

Actually a great swimming pool. But I'm very disappointed with the kitchen. The food is not the problem, but the unfriendliness of Kichen and his assistant. We and friends tried to add more to the order and then didn't want to hand over the receipt.

Bathroom itself is a bit old, but makes a clean impression. The floors in the cabins were full of lint. Lifeguards seemed to be very strict at first, but then when someone shot in the pool, we had to go to the checkout after unsuccessfully looking for someone to supervise the pool. The shit, which had been floating around between the bathers for 10 minutes, was then removed with a sieve. First and last time.

If you want to swim laps in peace, you should definitely do so somewhere else. Completely overcrowded! Here there are four to five swimmers per lane. Too many people for the small bathroom. It's disgusting and loud. The entrance fee was completely over the top. In the wellness pool you will find anything but relaxation. The lifeguards don't care if the children almost jump on your head! This zone could also simply be kept free for adults to get some peace and quiet. If you're serious about the hustle and bustle, then dismantle the behavior sign in the wellness pool. We won't be going to the Gritli again and can't recommend it.

A great swim, the slides are really fun. Unfortunately, the floors in the cloakrooms/showers are not exactly clean. There were also tufts of hair and plaster near the pools or slides in the bathroom itself. I think the dressing rooms are dirty because everyone walks around with their shoes on. . You may want to run the cleaning machine through the bathroom more and check the slides. But the entry prices are very fair!

The price of 9.50 is not justified because I have to change and only like dirt, I have never seen such a dirty bathroom! Just like in the bistro, nobody cleans x French fries on the floor, you still have to look where you step, let alone spread ketchup on the tables, this bathroom is simply unhygienic and I won't be entering it again!

S first time in the lattice gsi. Tried for the first time what a bouncy castle in the water feels like under your feet and your body and just failed. But before that I really had a very good time. I really enjoyed my first swim in years, as well as the warm outdoor area. And I suddenly had a lot of helpful and very caring, concerned people around me who looked after me. I've been going to the indoor pool in Liestal for so long now, as well as the garden pool in the summer. What has been bothering me a lot lately is that the children's pool always has to be closed during the week and on a Sunday for the swimming schools. You then have to pay the full price and can't bathe properly with your child. And the second day today I was out in the whirlpool with my family, everything was so far ok, until the young people did stupid things so that my son 4 got injured, the answer came from the young people, just be careful. We then reported it to the Bademeistein and nothing happened, not even a warning. I say everyone can have fun sometimes, but you should still be considerate. To the lifeguards, there is a huge board on how to behave. It would be nice if people took that into account more and implemented it.

We celebrated the children's birthday there, which we can highly recommend. On Saturday afternoon, a play area was set up in the water where the kids could let off steam. Afterwards we ate the cake we had brought with us in the restaurant. The staff in the bathroom and at the checkout are super friendly, very organized and competent. Top tip for families and children’s birthdays😊👍

As a family we really enjoy visiting the “Gitterli”. There is something for everyone, slides for the children, a swimming area and an outdoor pool with bubbles and a lazy river. We'd love to come back.

Very nice and cozy. Thermal bath outside super warm. You can relax there very well😀. Yesterday I wanted to go swimming at 7 a.m. Website confirmed open from 6am. But the cash register doesn't open until 8 a.m. After asking why the opening time was 6:00, they said it only applies to the entrance. So without a ticket, you can't enter the indoor pool before 8 a.m.

Really not recommended!!! The employees, especially the lifeguards, were very unfriendly and unprofessional! Me and my family will no longer go to this "badi" and recommend everyone to go to the badi elsewhere. There are more than enough swimming pools in the area where you are welcome.

A really great indoor and outdoor swimming pool. There are many ways to spend the day here. 3 slides, 1x 25m (indoor) and 1x50m (outdoor) swimming pool, plenty of baby paddling pools and plenty of other water areas for fun. Game afternoons for young and old are also very entertaining. The food is okay. ½☆ Deduction: However, the price has generally increased slightly. E.g.: Ice cream from previously 3CHF or 3.50CHF to 4CHF and 4.50CHF. What's also annoying is that the entrance fees for inside and outside are now different. The price has also risen here. ½☆ Deduction: The lawn outside suffered badly in some places. A little more love would have to be invested.

It's a very nice swimming pool but unfortunately I only give it 3/5 stars. 1. I think it's a shame that you can't get back into the indoor pool until you scan your ticket. 2. I think it's a shame that the diving boards are closed off when the climbing wall is opened due to lack of space.

On 06/18/22 we visited this place for First time. When paying the entrance fee at the cashier, the ladies were kind and explained to us that to acquire a “Familienkarte” (family ticket) you had to make an application at the town hall... I honestly don't know why it's so complicated, when the visitor You come from another region and cannot buy this type of ticket. I understand your policies, but you could be a little more flexible on this point. The place has two areas to enjoy your stay: an outdoor area (Gartenbad) where there is a swimming pool with a sensational slide (Rutsche), bathrooms, showers, cloakrooms, a library and a small cafeteria, whose prices are moderate. There is also a swimming pool for swimmers, a children's park and Ping Pong tables. The other place is inside (Hallenbad). We didn't go in there so we can't say what it is like. However, they informed us at the reception that they have a slide, wave pool…. The place is fantastic... it has many trees and the grass is well maintained which allows the visitor to have a lot of shade for days like yesterday (37 degrees) where the Sun is very strong. The pools are in the middle and so you can have a direct view of the children and what is happening in the pool. It is a safe place. I had no contact with the people who take care of the pools so I can't say if they are friendly or not. We loved the site and can recommend it. The only fabulous thing would be to have free Wi-Fi or minimum prices for people who don't live in Switzerland. That's why 4 stars. Thanks, it was super.

Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff and no sense of customer friendliness. Lifeguards are also very unfriendly... Luckily there is now a swimming pool in Gelterkinden where you can go in and out.

Actually a good bathroom, but the employees at the checkout are often unfriendly and disinterested, but the staff at the cafeteria are even friendlier. Furthermore, you feel ripped off if you get the lunchtime entry (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) for just 1 franc cheaper than if you buy a normal entry fee. This should then be abolished or a reasonable price reduction should be set.

Actually a nice bathroom. Unfortunately, the quality is steadily declining. If you only want to swim a few lengths, this is often difficult because: 1. 2 to 3 lanes are always closed to the club every evening 2. Game afternoons take place at the whim of the lifeguards, although before the Easter weekend there was a question about whether game afternoons take place every day. The information was only available on Saturday and Sunday (there is nothing mentioned about public holidays on the homepage either), so you can run up and do it turn back because swimming is not possible.... Nice inside and outside swimming pool. Water is warmer than in other swimming pools in the area, which is my kid prefers this one. There are swimming areas for all levels. There is a small restaurant where you can have meals, including kids menus. The meals are quite good (think fish and chips, nuggets, salads, spring rolls), and there are also options for smaller snacks.

Until September 8th, 2021, I was an enthusiastic visitor to the grid bath. I appreciate the warm water in the wellness pool, which has a positive effect on my joints and muscles. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. At the end of summer I renewed my annual subscription. Certificate requirements have been in effect since September. Since I don't want to be vaccinated for health reasons, I have to accept the consequences of no longer visiting the bathroom. I then asked Mr. Stäubli, first without and then with a doctor's note, to extend my subscription for the "missed" time. Unfortunately, I received zero goodwill and understanding. I ask myself, what does the little grid have to lose? The annual subscription is paid and I don't visit the bathroom... The only loss; a grateful and satisfied customer so far. According to the contractual terms of my annual subscription, this “new” provision does not exist and is also not justifiable. Therefore double incomprehension... For these reasons my rating was reduced from 5 to 1 star :(

The certificate requirement is therefore a recommendation and not a must. As an SME you can adhere to it or not (house rules).

It was very pleasant, there were sometimes a lot of children with their parents in the children's pool. But you still had room to splash around. We had the outdoor pool almost to ourselves.

Top garden pool and indoor pool. The food was also good, except for the long wait at the restaurant. A hotog is made in 2 minutes. It would be better to do this separately, without a bellman, otherwise you'll be waiting for half an hour or more.

Swimmer's pool, children's pool, various slides, thermal bath, baby pool, diving pool 1 and 3 meters. NEW also climbing wall. Various courses are offered. In summer: beach volleyball, splash area, spacious meadow, garden restaurant.

Very nice indoor pool. Toilets and showers are clean. It has two slides. A smaller slide is also suitable for children under 6 years. The larger slide underwater world also promises sliding fun. The whirlpool bath can be visited outside. It's worth a visit.

Disabled and healthy people should swim together

Actually a very great indoor pool with a wellness pool and great slides. The only thing missing is a sauna to make the offer perfect. But today I felt very uncomfortable - it was very crowded and the Corona rules were not followed at all. Nobody disinfected their hands, let alone the cubicles. You can't talk about 1.5m distance, if you're lucky you'll have to move a few centimeters in and out of the pools, stand in line for the slides, etc. Even the lifeguard only talked to guests at a short distance.

Actually a very good, beautiful facility. But if you want to swim in the evening after work, then you may find yourself running more and more often. Clubs often take up 3 lanes and up to 6 people swim in the 4th lane, which makes overtaking less experienced swimmers impossible. On the 5th lane there are people who would rather splash around. In the past, the clubs reserved a maximum of 2 lanes. I am of the opinion that the public sector contributes a lot to the operation of the pool. It would then also be expected that a public bath will also be primarily available to the public. But I admit that I don't know what kind of contribution margin the clubs have. Nevertheless, it is special how the clubs are expanding.

I can't understand the bad reviews. I think the garden and indoor swimming pool is sensational and if it were closer, I would definitely be there more often! I always found the staff to be friendly, there is everything you could want in terms of infrastructure and I find it sensational that you can be outside as well as inside during the transition period! The slide with the “game” of touching the dots is great for the children. The temperature (indoor pool) is rather warmer than usual, which I also find very pleasant.

They shoot me and my friends out without giving a reason and then they take photos of us and think we don't see them and we had to enter our address and names etc. I'll never go there again, I'd rather take a full bath

Not recommended I and my friends were in this indoor swimming pool and were thrown out without warning. And we weren't allowed to discuss it either. We had to give our phone number and our names. Afterwards, when we left the swimming pool, we were photographed. We kindly told her to delete the photo. We were then threatened with the police if we did. The staff is just very terrible and very unfriendly. Please don't do it to yourself and don't visit this indoor swimming pool.
