We just wanted to eat something small before the cinema and ordered four different tapas plates. The service was very nice and the atmosphere on the terrace was wonderful. Unfortunately the food was hardly edible. All the dishes we ordered were blandly seasoned, except for the "racy meatballs", which weren't at all spicy for my taste, but were at least well seasoned. The baked sweet potato was basically okay, but it also lacked salt. The vegetables baked with puff pastry were completely soft and the puff pastry was soggy instead of crispy. And the chicken thighs were unfortunately inedible. There was no sign of the sauce or marinade, and the chicken drumsticks were clearly barely warmed up: they arrived less than 10 minutes after we ordered and were lukewarm at best. We came here on the recommendation of friends, but unfortunately we can't understand them.

The food was very good. But the service is really terrible. The only thing that came quickly were the drinks. Presumably so that you can no longer easily leave the restaurant. Because... from the moment we received the card, we waited over 30 minutes until someone from the staff took an interest in us again. Waving or shouting was skilfully overlooked. When we were finished with the main meal and wanted to order dessert, the same thing happened. Nobody came. Again we sat for 30 minutes with dirty, empty plates that no one cleared away. My husband had to get up and go find the waitress to order dessert (which we only ordered under the circumstances because we had promised it to the children) and immediately ask for the bill. Which came promptly, before dessert. We were there a long time ago and it was the same back then. We thought it was probably because there weren't enough staff, it was a Wednesday evening. This time it was a Saturday. That was definitely the last time. It's a shame, because it wasn't the food.

I come here again and again. The food is delicious and very well seasoned. Personally, I find the price a bit unbalanced for the service but all in all a nice place that I would like to come back to. Cozy, informal

Yesterday the five of us had an aperitif. Ordered 2 portions of “Tapas Interminables” at 2x45.50. We were then charged an additional 3x10 for the place setting, which was a disgrace. There was no wheat beer, the amber beer was available in 2.5dl glasses at 4.70, which evaporates faster than you can drink. The tapas were nothing special, grated carrots, olives, 2 chicken thighs, 4 prawns, 4 meatballs, 2 salmon rolls, 4 Calmares ringlets, mushrooms with filling... etc. per person. 2-3 drinks (only beer/mineral): Total 185.- And that for a small after-work aperitif from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. :-(

Service had to be brought in again and again. We had to scoop it up ourselves and the food wasn't even kept warm. Despite large consumption (80 per person) no gratitude or appreciation was experienced.

We were lucky with our trip. Lunch consisted of the wonderfully culinary recommended buffet. I look forward to the next visit.

We miss the Tapeo in Sissach. Unfortunately, the restaurant here in Liestal no longer has much in common with it. The waiter was condescending and made it clear at what time children were no longer welcome. We wanted to use up the voucher book '2-1 Liestal and Oberes Baselbiet' for 2022, the dish in the voucher book didn't exist and we struggled with leaving again. The good gentleman then said that if you depend on vouchers or money, this is not a restaurant for you and we should go again. Charming. Regarding the food: We miss the Tapeo in Sissach again.

I thought the tapas were very good. There was something to complain about here and there (chocolate cakes had no liquid core, mint lemonade only tasted sweet and not like mint at all, the criticism wasn't really accepted), but I liked everything else very much. Ambiance is also very nice. Prices are moderate.

This week we dared to try again, after all, something like that can always happen and everyone deserves a second chance. Unfortunately, exactly 30 minutes passed after ordering the drinks (since we had to register because of Corona, we kept an eye on the time. When we asked the waiter if he could serve us - we received the answer that he couldn't work faster. When we asked again We waited 15 minutes and wanted to pay and leave - then the waitress came and took our order - by now we were so hungry that we were already feeling sick. When I asked the waitress that I didn't want to be rude, we had been waiting for 45 minutes When she made the comment that she might have more staff, she said to us: Yes, next time you should make a reservation. We ate and paid as quickly as we could - in the meantime we were able to discuss the same thing with the strangers at the table next to us - they just waited just as long to place the order. Did I hear correctly that only consumers with a reservation are catered for at a time - but those without a reservation are not - if this is the case then I kindly ask that the customer should not be offered a free seat and you The aim is to advertise that sufficient capacity is available if this is not achieved. Unfortunately, not only are we disappointed, but so are others. You are welcome to eat there if you have reserved or just want to be served late. I hope that Tapeo reads the comments, because the negative ones are very repetitive and something needs to be implemented here. If you don't care then please keep it up.

Very good food! Unfortunately the service is also Spanish, we waited forever. Wait to order, then wait for the food. After a long wait, the desire for dessert passed. With their noses up, their gaze averted from our searching eyes, the ladies strutted past our table several times. The restaurant was not half full because of Corona. Come over and ask if everything is okay? At over CHF 70 per person, an olive or a greeting from the kitchen? Lamentations no more...

A large hall (empty) and a smaller room which filled up during the evening. The courteous staff, the prompt service. We tasted several variations of tapas and I have to say they weren't bad. (I'll start by saying that I'm quite "conservative" when it comes to food). The wine (strictly Iberian) also satisfied me. The price is correct in my opinion. Overall I can recommend it. For my part, if there is another occasion, I will return.

The so-called cocktails were just colored water, carelessly thrown together... not to mention the tapas: Chf 7.80 for a so-called tomato bread, a sliced ​​roll, barely toasted, served cold, with a touch of tomato paste, I think it's pretty borderline. Not recommended for Spain lovers!
