St. Johann Grill in Basel

I wanted a normal doner box but it wasn't a normal doner box, fries aren't fresh and the meat is so dry never again and I won't miss one for 10 francs, the price is ok but it's just not for eating...

The kebab as well as the Dürüm are very tasty here. Prices are ok too. Ambiance isn't that great, but I don't expect that here either. Any time.

I always ate a Dürüm here, which was delicious. But then I tried a kebab... It was awesome! Absolutely delicious bread. Apparently homemade. I can only recommend.

The service was very unfriendly, people like that shouldn't be restaurateurs, they should be cleaners with no human contact!

Crazy, really lazy, the people who work, if you can call it work, are slow, not focused on customers and speak broken German, and there isn't even a toilet for customers in the 10 square meters, and the food is cruelly flooded with oil

It always depends on who is cooking. If the young, friendly woman is there, the food is amazing!!!!! If someone else cooks, you get fries that are not cooked through, the kebab is hard because it is stored in the oven, the salad is partly covered with dark edges, even though you order it without onions, there are a bunch of onions in the kebab. And really only 3 chicken nuggets in a chicken nuggets box? A pity!

I go here more often. The meat is of very good quality and does not consist of that pre-seasoned mush that so many kebab shops in Basel offer. The high amount of meat is correspondingly surprising for the (comparatively) low price. The owner is also a very nice man who takes a little longer per customer - but he really prepares the kebab with love.

We order and pick up again and again, primarily kebab, Dürüm or kebab box. One of the better kebab shops so far 😊

Vegetarian durum had exactly lettuce (no salad, just plain lettuce) with feta cheese. So disappointing.

Iskender plate 13 Fr On it was old bread with a little dry meat soaked in yoghurt and tomato sauce so you can sell the no longer edible bread. Never again
