Starbucks in Zug

Food and drinks is good. The place is also good most especially when you're meeting with friends. Service varies depending on the staff that is on duty; sometimes they're so accommodating and really nice, but there are times also that you'll encounter the rude once. This is my go-to place for coffee and chill.

They sell an Espresso at 5.20 CHF which is the price of a double Espresso but you ll be charged same for a single Espresso.

My friend was here yesterday, she order ICED BLONDE latte (cold one) and they give her hot one. Servis wasn’t Nice.

Atmosphere is terrible. Not a place to stay. When you try to choose something, the board constantly switches to advertisements, so you can never read everything. The coffee tastes good, like in every Starbucks.

Not the best experience. Cappucino was so bad, service was sadly bad too.. bad care about customer. Typical example of when you hate your job.

Lattes here are glorified milk cups. Make sure you ask for a 2nd shot of coffee to ensure is a proper coffee.

My first and last time here in Zug at Starbucks I ordered a warm chocolate and the coldly dismissed employees couldn't really speak German

Open every day for your cup -a-Joe fix

Mostly crowded, no highchair for children. Could be bit cleaner. The staff are oky.

Prices are inherently too high. The service here is sometimes a bit unfriendly or simply ignores you. Simply place finished drinks there, without any indication of when they are and whether you can take them.

Actually a really nice place. Unfortunately, at some point there was a complete change of employees and since then it hasn't been the same. I don't think I've ever experienced something like that at Starbucks. Don't pay 6.60 for it!

Pleasant atmosphere, but the vegan apple cake wasn't particularly special and the matcha latte was too bitter for me because there was no oat milk.

Nice toilets, comfortable to sit in and clean quiet place. It's also the only place in this restaurant where you don't have to give your name. I only go there for the toilets.

Lately the chain has been suffering at all locations, staff often don't understand even the difficult ordering options and confuse soy with oat milk, serve café instead of chai and extra hot is obviously also unclear, but I still have to reluctantly give my name. For this I switched to Tom, the rest is honestly beyond my abilities, at 7 in the morning. It hit me hard that there was no more cinnamon.

Usual Starbucks experience, however drinks in reusable cups weren’t full sized. Clean bathroom and efficient staff.

A great place to get a coffee and croissant while waiting for the train. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. 👍

Very good service! They are always able to do even the drinks that are not on the menu, from the other countries. Loooove the super food muesli and the cookie brownie. Totally recommend to go to this Starbucks if you are in Zug.

Barista got a couple orders wrong before he got to me. Then almost go mine wrong. Then, after i paid he dumped out the filter coffee and i waited for a new batch. Then still got my order wrong. Granted masks make it tough to hear but these are Your products

This morning I had to wait a long time to order a coffee before I had to get on the bus. There were 2 employees there, one unpacked the sandwiches in a relaxed atmosphere and the other made coffee for a customer. I wonder, couldn't the person unpacking the sandwiches take the order? And the other one who was already at the coffee bar preparing the coffee? No customer orientation or service at all, I left very upset because my bus was about to leave. I was in Starbucks at 8:14 and out at 21 because my bus was leaving at 22. 7 minutes of disregard, bad 😤

A place of enjoyment, but at a price. Not recommended for students as it is too expensive. The staff is nice and the interior is cozy and you have peace and quiet.

I love the Christmas coffee creations

I used this Starbucks as a escape from Homeoffice however I don’t think I will be returning. The covid measures do not meet the government regulations and I do not wish to bring Covid home. They only check Covid Certificates at the till therefore, a number of patrons simply get a to go drink and then sit down inside. Meaning they never had to prove they have a certificate.

This is a busy area but good ambience and warm staff. I would hope to see some more vegan options in the snack.

+ well furnished - little coffee - expensive - uncomfortable Coffee is more milk and sugar than coffee - and at a high price. But that's normal for Starbucks. What makes this branch even more uncomfortable are the Corona partitions, which are very restrictive. Take-away to the lake, for example, would be a better option, but the coffee would already be cold by the time you get to your destination.

Had first treat for our Zen at Starbucks in Zug

This Starbucks location is 100% faithful to the system of work and presentation of products in the methodology of its commercial chain. It is a good refreshment point, cleanliness and organization make your stop very pleasant. The place is well lit and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside, you definitely have to stop. Just pay attention to the covid restrictions. Active take away and the coffee is delicious.

Big Starbucks, has a lot of places to Rest

The only place where you have to pay 15.- for a frappuccino. In addition to that I think some workers are dyslexic (which isn’t a problem), but they‘ve never got my name right. But it’s overall quite nice!

Waiting time of more than 10 minutes! Only 3 employees on a Sunday is unbelievable! There were more than 10-15 people waiting each time. The poor employees provided great service, unfortunately, as I said, 10 minutes for a coffee is embarrassing. Maybe Starbucks should consider having more employees in the store on a Sunday.

I have never been treated so badly in a coffee shop/Starbucks in my life. I was there with my colleague for a drink. Since I had two Starbucks vouchers, I redeemed them. The “salesman” (I think it was a Spaniard) asked me why I had these vouchers. I explained to him that I got it as compensation. He replied in an impossible tone that that couldn't be true and that I saw a lot of them in my bag! He said it so loudly that other customers looked at me as if I had stolen these vouchers or printed them out myself at home. I then told him that I only had these and he asked me to show my bag! Extremely unpleasant for me as a regular customer and apart from that absolutely unprofessional!!!! My girlfriend and other customers were also very shocked by his behavior. We definitely won't come again.

The people in the store didn't really care. They messed up my sole order twice. Unusual for Starbucks and hopefully a one off but I'll avoid and go for other local coffee shops in future.

The location in Metalli and close to the train station is ideal. However, Starbucks' prices put me off. There are plenty of other good alternatives in the area. I also don't like the atmosphere in the restaurant: I'm too concerned with "seeing and being seen".

As Starbucks is known. Good coffee, friendly staff, delicious sweet food. The restaurant was clean and well furnished, the seating is available but not that comfortable. As with all Starbucks, the price was expensive but I would happily come back.

The coffee was tasty, but the saleswomen weren't really trying hard, so even though the order was small, two mistakes were made.

Most baristas are very friendly and will try to strike up a conversation with you. The café is often quite full, which is why it's understandable that not everything can always be sparkling clean, but the team makes an effort. Drinks are almost always prepared correctly and if a mistake happens, you get the right drink without any discussion. In general you feel quite comfortable, especially since the renovation about a year ago, when the entire Starbucks was refurnished and there are now sockets and USB ports in almost every place.

Dirty, not clean. A machine behind the counter was dirty and the ceiling was very dusty. The toilet was dirty and your shoes stuck to the floor. I will avoid this place in the future.

I have been to many Starbucks. But this one is just awful. The man who works there, the barista, was very rude to me. The man with glasses rudely stated to me that if I had not bought coffee, I would have had to leave. I bought coffee, but he looked at me very awkwardly the whole time I was there. When I arrived the next day, the same person said that if I only buy coffee, I cannot sit in this cafe for more than three hours. It literally makes people buy a lot of things. He tried to make me buy what I don't want. I left in a terrible mood. I will never go to this Starbucks again.😕😤

I go often with the kids. The staff are lovely and the service is fantastic. They speak English which helps as I have only just started learning German.
