Amazing Thai food and mango sticky rice to die for. Restaurant a bit noisy when is crowded. Been here for my birthday, asking for a nice table, but it was placed just in front of the entrance door. Hope for more attention the next time.

It was good, waiter worse cool but the lunch formulas are not applied. We paid more than what was advertised.

Tasty cuisine with good Thai tastes. We enjoyed ourselves and ordered 3 starters and 3 main courses for 2 people. Nothing to say about the quality of the food but excessively expensive for the quantity served. It’s a shame to see such a steep addition, but we must admit that the quality is there. Also review the comfort of the chairs.

Great discovery! The dishes are really delicious, the service very friendly but the quantities are very very small and the prices are overrated. The chairs are super uncomfortable and the place a bit noisy. We nevertheless had a great time and we will come back. 😅

We had a view of the kitchen. To our amazement, the cook licked her fingers before taking the food to put it in the dishes. We informed the waiter who told us he was going to tell the cook… until we left, he never went to tell her anything!! TO FLEE!!!

A regular since the opening... I'm disappointed to see that when everything is running smoothly, we relax... Very long service, music too loud and not really "local". The portions have been reduced (especially the sticky rice, too bad... This is still very good, but be careful not to become a victim of your success.

Too far from authentic Thai cuisine. Way too seasoned. We left our plates half empty. Nothing to recommend honestly. Neither starters nor main courses. Even the jasmine rice needs to be reviewed. The tables are too close together, the chairs are super uncomfortable and there is really a lot of noise. The servers in this case are super friendly and respectful.

Not your typical Thai restaurant with the green, red curry and panang(s). You get to eat the exquisite local cuisine coming from all over Thailand. Service is on top and will always accommodate, even when it was extremely hot during summer, they made sure to listen to every customer request. The team is great and I always go back to try the menu that is reviewed quite often. Keep it up and I look forward to coming back soon :).

An exotic and soothing place. Different Thai cuisine, sophisticated, without too much fuss. I was hesitant about beef tongue as a starter but it was my favorite! Smiling and attentive staff. I would go back and can only recommend!

Three of us went to dinner at Suahoy, a reservation initially planned for two and which we changed at the last moment upon arrival. The waiter was lovely and managed to satisfy us even though they were full. The service by the 2 waiters was perfect despite the crowds they had, kind, smiling and professional. The meal was delicious, the cuisine very successful and tasty. We are absolutely not disappointed and will happily come back! Chloé and Yaël

Quality dishes, attentive servers, very pleasant place!

Great place to have excellent thai food. Definitely worthy of Michelin star. The food is on par and excels on all levels. The cutlery selection is also unique and adds to its value. The only complaint is that the service was very slow and we had to wait about half an hour or more to get our bills.

Food was very good, we've enjoyed the different tastes. We ate outside, not the best choice. Service was bad and unprofessional. Update: we were offered a complimentary meal to renew our experience. We came back on Nov. 3rd, paid, as of today no reimbursment offered.

I had dinner at this Thai restaurant last night and it was a memorable experience. Having had the experience of eating in Thailand during my previous stays, I can say that the cuisine was authentic and delicious. The staff were extremely kind, doing everything to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, reminiscent of beautiful evenings spent in Thailand. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a true Thai dining experience

Place to be in Geneva. All is well. The meal is divine, the cocktails are to die for. The little extra, the servers are adorable and attentive to your needs. They can advise you on the choice of the menu or the cocktail. For us it was a 10/10. I knew the big brother Soï at Paquis which is very good but the Sua hoy is a very nice discovery. We will definitely come back. 🤩

We have come to Suahoy several times. The food was still good - the service was terrible. The servers didn't seem to mind. We asked for a wine recommendation and the waiter said he had to ask his boss. No one took care of it and despite two requests we had finished the meal when our server came to our table offering us 2 open wine options Pinot Noir and Crozes Hermitage. We ordered one of each; In the end only a bottle of Pinot Noir was opened and the boss did not want to open a bottle of Crozes Hermitage. The waiter therefore pretended to serve Crozes Herimitage but served Pinot Noir.

Fantastic food! We are very picky with our Asian food and Suahoy is absolutely decilious and for once a place that has spice to its food. We’ve been a few times and we will be going back for sure

Totally agree with some of the other reviewers. The food took quite a while to come out and we were a large group so everything seemed a bit staggered. Despite that, the food was excellent and really different to the “standard” Thai fare. Such a shame the food was offset by such disinterested service; we asked for a drinks menu and they just couldn’t be bothered to ever come back to take any drinks order!

Good restaurant, unfortunately not excellent as it was during the first year after opening. Selection of dishes always varied, however in my opinion there has been a significant decline in the quality of food and service.

Delicious food and great cocktails. Portions could be a little bigger. Sauces were amazing. Service was poor for a high end restaurant at a high price point, waiters were disinterested and not attentive.

Count 120CHF for two if you take 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts and 2 non-alcoholic drinks. On the other hand, disappointment for the mocktails and lemonade.

Suahoy is the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. I recently went to Thailand, and no restaurant there could beat Suahoy's crab rice. The meat dishes are also marvellous: the meet just dissolve in your mouth. And the desserts are also to die for (their mango sticky rice is the best).

Authentic & Delicious. If you don’t have enough money or time to take a flight to Thailand. This is a darn good alternative! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also cosy & lively. Each dish is well thought and is an explosion of flavours in your mouth!

Good atmosphere, decent food. The servers are lovely when you do manage to get a hold of them. Given the prices, I do expect a level of attention to one’s table which wasn’t met. We were five in a very open to enjoy mood - they got one of our orders wrong - that’s fine, happens, I guess. We would have ordered dessert but no one came to take our order for the longest time after giving us the menu to order dessert.. so at some point you end up giving up and asking for the cheque instead - it’s truly the restaurants loss in this case. If you can’t meet the demand of the number of tables you’re trying to host, maybe you need to hire more servers so your staff is less under pressure.

Food was pricey and mediocre. The service was slow and unfriendly, but the worst thing at this restaurant were the chairs! Which restaurant charging chf 38 for a dish has foldable plastic chairs? I’ve been sitting at my desk all day at work, and wanted to have a comfortable and relaxing dinner. But these chairs don’t hold your back straight, your low back is actually hanging out as there is no support at the chair. My back was hurting after the dinner. I had reserved a table, and when we arrived the waiter showed us only two tables we could sit at, while there were many empty tables. One of the tables he showed us had only 1 chair, but he didn’t react to that. So then I asked him whether we could sit at another table. We had to ask for water 5 times, while they had brought to the other tables. The excuse was that they were very busy, which I understand, but the restaurant wasn’t full. Overall not good experience and not nice ambiance.

Endorsed by a Thai friend who lives in Geneva. The curry pork dish is simply fantastic, wise choice of pork and it's super tender. I wish I could get that when I return home! Very fulfilling for my Asia stomach. Advanced booking is a must to secure a table. I saw many special cocktails too and will try next time. A place to bookmark.

Excellent restaurant offering Thai cuisine with a selection of cocktails and wine unique to Geneva. The place is very tastefully decorated and the food is just excellent. Best Thai fusion restaurant in Geneva

Amazing sophisticated Thai food in a chic casual atmosphere. The cocktails were also fantastic and expertly prepared. The ambiance is fun and a bit loud, so be ready for that. If you don't like to lean in and/or speak up, think twice. The portions are just a little small. Four of us shared two appetizers and four main courses plus an extra small veggie dish and four small portions of rice. Definitely had to be polite about making sure my friends got some of each portion - which was tough since they were so good! Great place for a date or a lively meal with friends. Will definitely be going back for more.

Generally bad, poor welcome, no vegan dishes, waiters don't take the right orders, much too noisy and too expensive for what it is

It's not a Thai restaurant but rather a night bar, where a bohemian clientele comes to enjoy overpriced cocktails. The dishes arrive cold, the noise is deafening. The food is ok but nothing like Thailand, except if you eat at Blue Elephant and then again. The setting is warm. The service was perfect, thanks to a lovely young Italian woman. The prices are exorbitant compared to the experience.

Excellent food, everything is good. The idea of ​​taking several starters and sharing allows you to taste many specialties. Special mention to the beef matured on site and to the barmaid whose talents are confirmed!

As always, the food is incredible! But the service... Asking three different waiters for water, the same for cocktails, digestives... It's tiring to chase them... It's a shame because it spoils the moment and the dishes served .

Decent bar service. Chosen dish: 28-hour pork belly, good to the taste but bad for the stomach! Diarrhea, vagal discomfort in the tram, and vomiting last night, I think we need to review the process in the kitchen. Food should not be served if it is spoiled! Respecting food means above all respecting the customers who will eat these dishes. This ruined the end of my vacation in Switzerland!
