I ordered: - Chicken Gyoza 2x - Chicken Brochettes 2x - Rice bowl 2x I got exactly that but instead of Chicken Gyoza I got Veg. The service is fine, nothing too special but the guy was very nice. The shop was empty except for us and one other person. For a small dish with about 6 individually Gyoza and 4 Brochettes and 2 bowls of rice we paid 40CHF. Not worth the price.

Quality sushi, possibility of taking a menu for 26 or 32 francs depending on the choice of sushi box and therefore according to their quantity. Order No. 86 - 23.04.2023. All in all terrible - Definitely avoid. You may read in detail as to why I very strongly advise against ordering from the Sushi Shop, rue du Vieux Collage, Geneve. We ordered 1 Salmon Box, 2 Veggie Platters, 2 Gyoza's vegetarian, 1 Yakitori Chicken, 1 California Roll, 1 Avocado Maki and 1 Sparkling Water. Believe it or not, they left out all the hot food in the order. The only things that were packed and delivered to us were the things that were ready and on display. While receiving the order, the employee (who was generally very courteous), when we began checking the order, told us we could trust him and didn't need to check out order. Unfortunately, we did trust him and did not check the order. The gyozas and the chicken yakitori were missing. The numbers provided on the website of the store were unreachable. It is almost half the order that was left out. While mentioned on our bill, the wasabi was also missed. On the quality of the food, the vegetarian sushi barring the avocado sashimi, was terrible. The salmon sushi was average and did not taste fresh. The avocado maki was good. The california roll was terrible and definitely not worth eating. I find it dishonest for a restaurant to leave out dishes they have charged for. I would ordinarily take responsibility for not having checked the bag there. However, he expressly stated that we did not have to check the order and "could trust him". I can assume they have done this to other customers and think it's necessary to put it out there to fairly warn others who may order from here.

Great designer box for the "Box By You", but I still notice that some sushi is still poorly made. But the taste is still there and the “Wasabeef” is not spicy enough for my taste. But since Sushi Shop is the only shop that offers sushi that my daughter can eat (she doesn't like nori). I would remain a customer of yours.

I don't often post negative reviews, but I am very disappointed. I've been a customer for years, I enjoy ordering sushi even more on Sunday evenings. We tolerated an hour's delay, on several occasions, sushi that didn't hold up, a seaweed salad forgotten and never refunded. Tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back. Following an oversight on the part of Sushi Shop during delivery, when reporting the oversight, the person we spoke to on the phone did not even apologize. There was no sauce either, no Wasabi, or ginger, despite having asked for them when ordering. Maybe a site bug? The missing sushi arrived 1 hour later, and moreover, without sauce. Worst of all: someone had pointed out the fact of having ordered 2 baguettes (probably to prove that we had not asked for sauce when we are sure we had asked for some.) A more than childish behavior and not professional, given the circumstances. I think that the employees of Sushis Shops have forgotten that, above all, the customer is king and that, when we make a mistake, the minimum would be to apologize and ensure that the customer gets what he paid for and can eat his meal in the best possible conditions. I won't order again and it's a shame.

I do not recommend eating there! It's been a long time since I ate at Sushi Shop and I was very disappointed. From now on, Sushi Shop emphasizes take-out sales to the detriment of the on-site catering section. I find it scandalous that by deciding to eat on site with the aim of avoiding single-use packaging: we end up drinking from cardboard cups and eating our sushi in their packaging trays even if they come straight from the kitchen. It would be high time to consider reinstalling the service on washable plates and glasses! The environment would be grateful, as would customers who much prefer to eat in a more respectful setting.

I had a take away or deliver server at sushi shop in the past and I was really happy about that. Yesterday for the first time I ate inside the restaurant. Well, the place was really dirty especially on the floor and dust everywhere. The sushi was ok and service as well. But the conditions of the place they where really bad and anybody seems care about that . My friend called the place the McDonald of sushi.. Please take care of the place!

Pitiful service. Rarely have I been treated so badly in an establishment. Will never come back again. Order placed on the website for a pickup at the Eaux-Vives station store. Arrived there, the store is closed and there is no one inside. So I go to the one on rue du Vieux Collège to explain my problem. I was told in an unpleasant tone that it is not possible to place an order if the establishment is closed. So I hand over my order confirmation to prove the opposite and purchase my items in this store. Not a commercial gesture, nothing, not even a smile or an apology for the inconvenience. It's a place we love, but never again! Twice we received a product that did not correspond to our order. But the worst happened 4 months ago. We order sushi for CHF 89.90 (including for our children) and we receive boxes with an expiry date from the previous day. Wasted evening... We complain by calling (premium rate number 0900) and sending a message with a photo of the box in question. The manager apologized 3 days later and a few days later we were called telling us that we would be refunded. A week later we call to find out when the reimbursement will take place and we are told that it takes two weeks. Annoyed, we sent another email to ask to delete our account in accordance with the GDPR, but no response for 3 months... Great disappointment

Cardboard box so small that the sushi are all stuck together, it's impossible to grab them with the chopsticks... they have the aesthetic of having been made quickly, they don't look good... after peeling them apart by hand They are so poorly made that when you try to pick them up with your chopsticks they crumble.. it's really the worst sushi I've ever ordered... On 26 May, an order was canceled when I could not arrive in the 5 minute window offered before they closed for the afternoon. On 28 May, they canceled an order 3 minutes after I placed the order online because it was too close to closing time. I was charged for both orders - and for three more orders in the past 2 weeks. They have not reimbursed me for the orders on 26 and 28 May, even though they said they would. In contrast, I have been reimbursed for return merchandise that went all the way to the U.S. within this time frame. I would identify the poor manager (in addition to the impolite counter staff), but the person who responds to my emails with excuses refuses to sign a name. Sushi is okay and delivery is fast (if they agree to complete the order), but customer service is shoddy, at best. Le 26 mai, une commande a été annulée car je ne pouvais pas arriver dans la fenêtre des 5 minutes offertes avant la fermeture pour l'après-midi. Le 28 mai, ils ont annulé une commande 3 minutes après que j'ai passé la commande en ligne car il était trop proche de l'heure de fermeture. J'ai été facturé pour les deux commandes - et pour trois autres commandes au cours des dernières semaines. Ils ne m'ont pas remboursé les commandes des 26 et 28 mai, bien qu'ils l'aient annoncé. (En revanche, on m'a remboursé le retour de marchandise expédiée aux États-Unis dans ce délai.) In 2 years, this restaurant went from best to very bad. How can you call yourself Sushi Shop? Following the catastrophic arrival of Anne Sophie (French chef) a year ago, traditional Japanese plates were replaced by French plates. 1 year later, to make everything worse, it was the turn of Mauro Colagreco (Argentinian chef) who arrived to also add his foreign touch. Everything has been bad since. The choices (now international), the deplorable service... Not recommended for any fan of real Japanese gastronomy.

My experience at Sushishop Switzerland has gone down so much in the last few months that I hadn’t ordered it for a while. Felt like sushi on Saturday night, and it was awful. The fish smelt very strong, unfresh for sure. The rice was dry, the picture shows more than half the food which I through in the bin. For an upmarket sushi restaurant, who prides itself on pretending to be like an haute couture house with seasonal offerings, it needs to go back to basics. Terrible and super slow service. The poor are understaffed and overwhelmed. The employees all seem to be students. We had to get up to ask for water after 15 minutes of waiting, the same for the sushi and the cutlery is plastic. Not great for a restaurant at this price! The place is super dirty (see photos) and it was super cold. There was just a small space heater to warm the whole room so not enough. Honestly, sushishop is good but some franchisees really let themselves go. I won't go back there again and I don't recommend it to anyone.
