Taco rico in Genève

First thing you will see coming here - exceptional cleanliness. The menu may be compact, but it has all the classic Mexican dishes you may want to taste. The food tastes great and is spicy, but not dangerously spicy for the most part. The portions are big (chicken burrito became both lunch and supper for me). One more notable thing is their classical alcoholic Margarita cocktail - really recommend it for even more pleasure during food.

It’s too expensive for what it is, a fast food. Tacos are goodish but was not blown away. 3 tacos and 1 soda is 25 CHF or so.

This is my place to go to in Geneva. Now that I'm not there I miss it and hope all is going well. I look forward to spend lots of time there upon mh return.

Burritos are wrapped twice in aluminum foil even if you want to eat in a restaurant, as soon as you unwrap it you immediately understand why: it falls apart almost immediately and there is a huge mess because the inside is mostly quite liquid. If only it tasted good or was inexpensive... 🙄

My girlfriend and I love this place as a go to place to eat to have amazing food in a pleasant atmosphere.

Being coming here for past 3 years.. Ordered Nachos complet for which i found more cheese than the nachos! Prices are up and quantities have diminished. Like last time I came, and 2 of us struggled to finish one! I doubt that inflation hit THAT HARD. We ended up just getting 3 things and going elsewhere MUCH MUCH CHEAPER AND MUCH MORE SATISFYING! Food quality was fine and all the rest was good in terms of service, ambiance etc.. hope they lower prices or higher the quantities

Cheap fast food. Cold taco fillings but good sized portions for the price. Friendly service.

They forgot our quesadillas (delivery) and don't answer the phone during business hours.

Food is delicious, and the staff is very nice. It's poorly decorated, some of the furniture needs to be repaired, a little messy.

I was hesitating to write a review yesterday bec I enjoyed the food. But the service is bad. I wish the guy could have been a little bit nicer. I ordered online and i was going to pick up the food as Im just working nearby. It says i can pick it up in 30 mins and , when I get there it wasn't ready yet, he was attending to other dine in clients. It was my turn and he told me i need to wait 3 mins more. I said ill just come back, and after 15 mins I went back hoping that he will just hand me my order and pay. But I had to wait again on the queue. Today , i promoted the resto to my colleague, despite of what happened, i recommended that she eats there, she ordered her food and asking for a bit of extra sauce. The same guy told her that he already put some earlier, she was asking If she can have a bit more. He said, no because he puts a bit before. Really not nice. Cold service.

I got the shrimp tacos and a drink, this place isn’t cheap, it’s a little on the expensive side, and what they charge you for extra sauce or toppings is ridiculous. Overall the food was okay, but the service was trash.

Incredible surprise, authentic Mexican flavor, prepared with authentic ingredients used in Mexican cuisine. The chef (who is Spanish) is an excellent host who made our experience even more enjoyable. As a Mexican I recommend Taco Rico as true Mexican food with true Mexican seasoning!!!!

Had the mix tacos/wrap with chilli, white and famous cheese sos absolutely delicious also only 13 Frank's extra 2/3 if u want a drink with it spoke English and French very friendly and quick

As always for years now, everything is very good! We are fans of burritos 🌯 Prices have increased a bit recently but hey… it’s a general trend. Be careful to remain affordable though. It’s one of the best places to eat Mexican 🌮🇲🇽, fresh and mostly homemade products (except the fajitas). I happily recommend this establishment 👌🏼

The food was good, but the waiter was extremely rude. I went to eat with a friend. I had the impression that the waiter didn't want to be there. When my friend asked for recommendations of sauces the guy said "pfff I don't know". The guy was trying to rush us in our choice, and when we said that he should be more patient, he said, "I don't speak english" in English. Disgusting attitude.

Me and my partner were looking for some great Mexican food in Geneva, and we certainly found it here. Brilliant staff, reasonably priced, great ingredients, would definitely recommend.

As a fan of burritos, I highly recommend this address! One of the best burritos I have tasted in Switzerland. Plus the place is nice, the staff are always very kind and their recommendations are always delicious.

Ordered classical vegetarian tacos (pepper, tomato salsa, guacamole, black beans with green and Chipotle sauce, lime on the side) with wheat beer - tasty, very affordable (~36 CHF in total for two people!) and healthy 😋 plus you can eat outside under the trees on the little piazza 👌 thank you guys for great dining and friendly attitude!

Amazing Quesadillas. It wad nice to have a fast meal of great quality. We felt very welcome as Americans. The staff was kind and patient with us and the guacamole was fantastic. He even asked where we were from and made us laugh. Great experience.

It is one of the well served tasty and good price food in Geneva. The people working there is always gentle and fun. If you are hungry and looking for something super yummy, this is your place.

This is a good option for a reasonably priced meal in Geneva. Ingredients are fresh and they have flavorful seasonings. They have seating inside and outside, plus takeaway. We enjoyed the tacos, and burritos.

I love Taco Rico! Especially the Burrito bowl Cochinita. As a Latin American living in Geneva I really miss the food with intense flavors and Taco Rico has them! It's just amazing :)

Extremely expensive for what it is. Salty food, very very basic and a bit bland. For 2 people ordered 3 small chicken tacos and 3 small beef tacos, barely enough quantity + 1 still water all for 45 francs...

Taco Rico was fantastic. The chicken and cheese quesadilla was absolutely delicious, accompanied by a really fresh guacamole. It was also very quiet in the restaurant which made it a peaceful place to enjoy our meal. I would definitely recommend Taco Rico!

The best taco and quesadilla you’ll get in Geneva . I have tried 3 taco restaurants here and this was by far the best. The chorizo quesadilla is absolutely delicious 🤤 I’ve only had takeout so I cannot speak about the customer service or cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant

Best Mexican food I have found in Europe. With a huge donkey and a crown, I felt at home even though I was on the other side of the sea.

After walking past a few times today I decided to go in. From the outside the place may not be exciting, but never judge a book by its cover. Small but very clean place. I was lucky enough to arrive at a time without other people and the staff was very kind in explaining everything to me. I opted for the tacos so I could try more meat variations. Definitely all very good, the chicken, the beef (Picadillo) but guys trust me and go for the Rumsteak, always beef that they cook on the spot, a delicacy that I won't tell you! Worth the stop! Possibility of having a burrito or taco made with flour or corn

It was a nice surprise 💯 Delicious dish. But no atmosphere, given the context I would have liked to feel in Mexico 😅 the music is worth seeing again!

I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed! The quality of the products is excellent and their dishes are delicious.

Never order from these guys. Food arrives 1h30 late. Tacos stick to the paper and are inedible. Looks disgusting.

Simply underwhelming. Overpriced and it doesn't really excel when it comes to neither, quality or quantity of the serving. I can't avoid comparison with Taqueria Los Cuñados which is proper, cozy restaurant and still managing to serve better and more affordable food.

Really amazing restaurant with fantastic food! I went twice whilst staying nearby on holiday, both dine-in and takeout. Food was delicious, staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location, and very reasonably priced for the area.

Taco Rico makes the best burrito I’ve ever eaten. Every single ingredient blends wonderfully to create an amazing meal. Not only is the food amazing but the people working here brighten my day and are always very welcoming. I have created countless memories in this establishment and hope to create many more.

Very good Tex-Mex and Mexican cuisine! Fresh food and made in front of you. But, because it is not flawless either, there are things to review. Why did customers have the privilege of walking past a group of 8 people who were there before them? Normally priority is given to the order of arrival and not to the ability of employees to respond to orders!!! The group was denigrated because there were too many of them. Next time we will know we will all be separate individuals. That way we will be sure to be served in order. In addition, the consistency of quality is not always there. Sometimes it's perfect: quantity (it also happens that there's too much), quality, freshness and hot service. All good! And you just have to go from one taco to another (different meats) and see that one is cold compared to the other, well it's stupid but you want to come back to the one that was hot. This Tex-Mexican fast food restaurant is great without exception, but if this small drawback could be corrected it would be really good. There is a lack of consideration for customers and that is what is most damaging. Today after 5 minutes of waiting in the restaurant without hello and attention paid by the employees to their concerns, I left the restaurant!! Too bad for you!!!
