Cozy atmosphere, comfortable to sit. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food very tasty and rich. We had the appetizer platter, Chicken Byriani and Rice with Butter Chicken. The nan was made with butter and was absolutely fresh. There are parking spaces in front of the house.

Tamarind Hill, just perfect. Tamarind Hill the way we love and appreciate it. The food is simply perfect every time. The decoration has become more subtle and a nice ambience has been created. Went to the restaurant on a Monday, unfortunately there were complications with the booking. However, these were solved by the employees without any complications. A big thank you for that 😊👍🏼. The staff responds to special requests and solves them without any problems. The food was simply brilliant, great taste and a balanced spiciness.

Friendly service, but the portions were very small for the price - and then there was a relatively large amount of sauce with only a few chunks of meat. Butter Chicken was, in my opinion, the weakest main course.

It’s my second visit to Tamarind Garden and I truly loved it. Very welcoming and calm atmosphere, wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes and friendly service. Each table receives cute and delicious welcome plate for snacking while waiting for the main meal. The waiter was very friendly and caring! Amazing experience

On Saturday we ate at Tamarind Garden, a very nice restaurant, the staff is so polite and helpful, very accommodating. The food was very delicious especially the delicious. Butter chicken was so delicious. We would like to thank the entire staff for the lovely evening in the Tamarind Garden, a great atmosphere, it certainly wasn't the last time we were there, we are happy to recommend it to others :)

On Friday March 8th, 2024 we had dinner with my partner at the Indian restaurant Tamarind Hill. We celebrated Women's Day there. It was our first visit to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised and very pleased. As soon as we entered, the boss gave us a very pleasant welcome. A young, friendly waiter accompanied us throughout the evening and fulfilled all of our wishes. The selection of dishes is very large. As a bonus for Women's Day, we had an a la carte selection of 6 dishes for 35 chf per person. It's cozy, clean and quiet there. The prices are very pleasant. The staff is friendly, helpful, professional and flexible in terms of time. The dishes have a high level of taste and presentation. We loved it and are planning a next visit soon. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The food and ambience was overall good. The main thing that bothered me was the fact that when you ordered a like chicken Tikka masala, you also had to order the rice separately, for which you pay extra.

We had a pleasant evening last Saturday thanks to a rich buffet and the option of ordering a la carte. The staff was attentive, the service efficient, and the food delicious. We can't wait to come back.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, mainly due to their delicious Butter Chicken. The cozy ambiance and the welcoming staff made the dining experience even more delightful.

I would definitely recommend Tamrid Garden. Food is really good. I had my daughter first birthday celebration here, staff is really helpful and specially Mr Chandar Ji is really helpful and always availabe for any query. It was great party here.

The food was delicious but the service was poor. We waited two hours for our food and ended up only getting four dishes instead of eight, and two of them were wrong. When we complained they couldn't understand it. In any case, we ended up paying for more portions than we got. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE!!!

smells heavenly of Indian cooking when you walk in. Large selection of dishes and well described. soup starter very good. good, warm food with naan bread. sorbets very sweet. They would probably be good with half the sugar. Unfortunately, ginger tea only comes in tea bags.

Unfortunately our experience was not positive. When we booked a table on the phone they didn’t tell us that in the evening there was only a self service menu option (no menu) for fixed price. Once there it was difficult to go away since there’s not much around it. The towel of the table was dirty from the previous guests, we asked to change it and they didn’t. They said that we could have eaten how much we wanted but the food finished soon. The total price for the self service in the bill was a bit higher than they told us when we arrived. The environment in the restaurant was super hot and humid. I hope this feedback will also help them to improve. Cheers.

Homely food , Great taste . MUST TRY.

Best place to try authentic Indian food.

We ordered this lunchtime for around Chf 70.00. The food itself would have been good, but it was far too salty for my taste, but what annoyed me today is that one portion of rice was missing and we couldn't reach either the Ueber Eats supplier or the restaurant. Anyway, we didn't want to wait another 40 minutes for the portion of rice. A pity. This was our first order, maybe we'll give it another try.

The food didn't reach the level of being bad, but unfortunately, the service fell short of being great. Initially, there was an issue with the drink order, which they mistakenly got wrong and charged us for. The initial server's demeanor was unwelcoming, lacking even a single smile. Adding to the frustration, we ordered two dishes for 17CHF for breakfast, but they were unavailable for dinner. The lady told us that she can still cook us this meal although they just serve it as breakfast. They charged us two Thali dishes that cost 34.50CHF for each for the two dishes without clear pricing information at the begin. However he try to convince us by saying „the breakfast price is not the same as the diner price“. But how can it be more than the double of the price? How can they charge us for something we didn‘t eat? The situation escalated when a staff member began arguing with us. This unprofessional conduct was disappointing, not to mention the high prices that usually accompany good service. It's advisable to carefully review your bill before making payment!

I ordered online take out for pick up. When I walked in the restaurant I was very well received, extremely friendly staff, the order was ready on time. The food was absolutely perfect, very warm still and all the dishes we ordered were so tasty! Thank you! Will definitely go bak and I can highly recommend their place!

Samosas were really good. Mix veg had a homely taste. Dal was good too. Pickle and onions were there as accompaniments, which we rarely get in other Indian restaurants.

The food was poor to start with ,the waiters are completely unwelcoming they really dont care ,the male staff is just too rude with the customers,we ordered mattar paneer which was not good , the breads had no seasoning,we ordered pulao in which there was no salt and the rice was un cooked,when we inform about this to the male waiter he was extremely rude to say "You are in Europe and you cant speak like that",he was very rude from the beginning and it was an complete mediocre experience to have visited this restaurant.

I had dinner at Tamarind Garden with my partner in September and then decided to also use them as a caterer for my birthday party in December. The food was a huge hit with my guests! It is not only excellent but also of high quality and with authentic taste of Indian cuisine. Their catering service was professional, extremely friendly and punctual. My questions were always answered straight away and they always found good solutions for all my needs. The presentation of the food was extremely appealing and the staff were very friendly. They looked after the guests very kindly and were generally very helpful. Overall, my experience with Tamarind Garden was very positive. I can only recommend the restaurant course and the catering service.
