Tandoori in Luzern

We brought takeaway food last evening there. The food was fine for the price. The prices are in fact quite low compared to everything else in Luzern. There was no issue with it, it was maybe a bit simple compared to other, more expensive places, but the portions were generous and we felt it was a fair deal.

Very good value for money and the food is mostly good.

The taste is okay. The whole plate is for 10chf so I understand why the atmosphere and chooses aren’t great. It’s okay for that price.

Good budget Indian Food with a cosy dining space. The quantity is just apt for 1 person and taste is also very good. Recommended for a pocket friendly and satisfying dine in.

So I'm not one to beat others up but that's no longer normal. I ordered at 7:16 p.m. and my food came at 9:01 p.m. without a sound, without apologizing or anything else it said, 30-60 minutes, I understand that too It doesn't have to come on time to the second but 1:45 minutes that's no longer normal the food was cold I had the butter chicken 2 pieces of meat 3 potatoes otherwise just rice with what do I know on it so unbelievably I wouldn't be very hungry and that's it If I had paid for it, I would have given the whole thing back and said goodbye and never to see you again. Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars here, it would be absolutely deserved!!! I should get my money back, that would be the only fair thing I've ever experienced as half of it is in the trash can

Great food with very affordable price. How can you go wrong with 10 Swiss fr for a meal? Mango Lassi was delicious. I loved the curry lamb dish and butter chicken dish. The meat was so tender and tasty. Overall I highly recommend this place. They only take cash though. They have sign says they take Euro and swiss fr.

It was probably the cheapest and most delicious full meal we found in Luzern. It is a simple thali restaurant where you get a thali consisting of 2 curries, 1 daal, and rice. Avoid it if you are looking for fine dining experience. For us, it was just as expected - a simple asian meal at the end of the day - and it fulfilled our hunger.

Amazing find!! Was looking for a more affordable option for dinner and we stumbled upon this! Butter chicken and lamb curry was really good, and portions were generous, spent only 24CHF! Only thing is that they only accept cash but would return again given the chance! One of the better meals we have had in Switzerland

Almost all restaurants calling themselves as Indian are actually not Indian restaurants. Worst chicken dish ever, the curry has chicken cubes.

The food is ok, l but they don't except credit cards and also they don't take euros. So if you don't have Swiss Frank's. Don't go to this restaurant, f you don't have cash they ask for something else to buy so spend more money. Guess asking people to pay more and not adding any details they don't accepts card is not good practice. Don't go either way if you have cash or not.

The food is tasty ( an Indian saying it, so it actually is 😉 ). If you are in Lucrene and looking for affordable yet quality Indian food, this is the place. The people are helpful. Prices are shown clearly. They also accept Euros but its easier if you have Francs. ( It's a cash only restuarant )

Excellent Indian take out place. They have vegetarian and non vegetarian plates with fixed menu for CHF 10 which is quite a steal deal for the quantity and quality. The food tastes excellent, the portion sizes are very good, the staff are friendly, and can only strongly recommend to give this place a try if you like authentic Indian food.

I must try when visiting Lucerne. We tried the lamb which was very tender and delicious. Daal was fresh along with the rice. The gentleman who served us was kind and very personable.

Soo.. I don’t know how this restaurant is called Tandoori when they don’t serve any Tandoori dishes. Anyway, the food was very much like north Indian homemade meal. Enough to fill you but nothing more than that. Also, they don’t serve chapati with the thali.. gotta pay an extra 3 francs for that..

As we narrowly missed the Mirch Masala buffet (which looks really tempting) we tried this place a couple doors down. It did not disappoint! Generous delectable portions beautifully presented in an authentic steel thali. Enjoyed every morsel. Keep it up guys!

Almost all restaurants which call themselves "Indian" in Switzerland are actually Pakistani. This is also a Pakistani restaurant. The food is average, service is good and price is reasonable.

If you are craving Indian food while in Luzern, do visit this place. You get a good amount of food in one thali for just 11CHF. We had the vegetarian thali and the chicken makhani platter, super yummy! 💯

I think this is the most affordable Indian restaurant in whole Switzerland. Food were good … for that price I can’t complain anything. 11 CHF for butter chicken , two veg curry , rice and raita … Wow !!!

Visited this place 2 days back for take away. We have really bad experience. The taste quantity is very less. We ordered chicken curry thali and it was worst thaali. They also gave veg curry in the thaali which was really what we asked. They use low quality plates for parcel, before we reach home everything was mixed. Waste of money.

This is good place to have some traditional Indian and Pakisthani food in terms of Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian. Prices are ok, test is ok too. Good to visit if you are Asian food lover.
