Valentino was a perfect host/staff speak great English and its a family run restaurant with his dad and mum The wine he recommended ( Crios Malbec) is not pricey but awesome. Absolutely outstanding experience as I’m a meat lover does my own steak refuse to eat out unless ii like to give it a try, I highly recommend and a must !

I had the pleasure of dining at Tango, the Argentinian Restaurant in Montreux, and it was an absolute delight! The steaks were cooked to perfection, boasting an incredible taste and tenderness that left me thoroughly impressed. The chicken was an equally delightful surprise. The chef's remarkable culinary skills were evident in every bite, and their friendly demeanor added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. Without a doubt, Tango is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fantastic food and a welcoming ambiance.

My wife and I ate here on the last night in Montreux for our honeymoon. On the trip, we are at restaurants all over Switzerland (Lucerne, Interlaken, Wengen) and many were very good, but this topped them all. We’re also from Dallas and we know good steak. This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had! We started with the AMAZING beef empanadas. What a treat, so flavorful! Do. Not. Skip! For the main, my wife had the filet called the Lomo and she raved over it. I had the Bife de Chorizo and it was equally as mouth watering. This place can cook BEEF! The Argentinian Malbec recommended was also perfect for the meal. This meal has me wanting to visit Argentina, it was so good. The owner/chef was so welcoming. It felt like we were in his home. He came to the table to check on us and everyone else in the restaurant. His son was our server and was very enthusiastic and gracious and surprisingly astute and knowledgeable about everything in the restaurant for one so young (recently 19!) This was obviously a labor of love for them as well as their business. If you find yourself in Montreux, don’t miss TANGO!

It’s an old Argentinian restaurant. We were there as they opened for the evening and it was only the owner manning the place. He was the manager, waiter, chef and bartender. He was fantastic and made great recommendations. Portions were big. Would recommend if you want a decent piece of meat.

For my part, I highly recommend it!!!! The “just” perfect meat + accompaniments prepared by the owner who is always so friendly, attentive and his professionalism no longer needs to be proven!!! As for the dishes... first of all I didn't include the aperitifs graciously offered (grilled pine with 2 sauces (1 tomato based and 1 pesto based) very very good which immediately set the tone for the meal ! The starters were excellent, whether it was the sausages or the empanada! Finally the Black Angus meats (very good breed) were cooked to PERFECTION, as rare as you want with perfect seasoning also whether it is beef or pork!! The 2 dishes are accompanied by very tender potatoes with such an original sauce (not just a simple cream sauce, you can see that it's worked) and so GOOD and delicious 😍 It’s a 10/10 and we’ll definitely come back!
