Super friendly staff and, depending on the menu, really great food (lasagna, curries...)

The lunch menus are delicious and the cake is fantastic. Can sometimes get a bit hectic with the students at peak times.

When I arrived there at 12.05, I was informed that there was now only vegetarian options. Either they have miscalculated or want to ban us from eating meat. In my opinion, it's not a "student" worthy restaurant.

Really an exceptionally good espresso. The pistachio croissants were also great. I'd be happy to come back when I'm in the area.

A great place for students, atmospheric, often calm and quiet. Prices are low and food quality is decent.

Best espresso on the entire ETH/UZH campus! And I speak from over 10 years of experience here. It's an integral part of our lunch routine, especially because of the super nice and extremely warm staff. There is also a great selection of pastries and sandwiches, as well as the option of 2 lunch menus (vegetarian/non-vegetarian).

I get lunch from this place regularly, the russian stew is quite yummy, also the canneloni, but nothing else is that great, the do sometimes have a smoothie to go with your lunch for 1.50 CHF which is quite good as well.

OK. Salads are good. A good place for a snack.

Best coffee at the University! In the summer they have Burritos for lunch, which taste delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

High quality food, reasonable prices for the location. It's a canteen so there's no table service. usually there aren't many people in the queue. Generally speaking it's a nice place to eat, but if you have a tight budget you might consider something else.

The Tannenbar is _the_ place for a coffee before the lecture. Seriously, best coffee in 1km in all directions.

Modern cafe and bistro. Staff rather reserved. Lots of activity at lunchtime. A few minutes walk from the university and ETH.

Lunch is great at Tannenbar! Also they have the best latte and tea!

Tannenbar is a coffee-place with a cheap cafeteria-feel, yet the prices of a full-fledged mid-town cafe. Their coffee is not bad, but for less money one gets much better coffee at the Alehouse, for example, which is just a 35-second walk from Tannenbar. Their rows of shared tables transmit the feeling that one is in a cafeteria meant for students. Despite the prices, one is expected to eat off cafeteria-trays, which one is expected to put into utilitarian-looking racks after finishing. The staff is friendly though and the place is clean.

Good place for lunch and coffee (at any time of day) but costly than mensa, but other options are available and sitting is good.

Love this place, plenty of good finger food and a good meal for lunch, all this for good prices!
