Very good restaurant. The dishes are magnificent, the service pleasant. We went there with the gourmet passport and were very well received.

We had made a reservation by phone about nine months in advance for Sunday, July 2nd, 2023. When we arrived in Friborg on that day and went to the restaurant, we discovered that the restaurant was no longer open. Unfortunately, we did not receive any rejection from the restaurant beforehand, neither by email nor by phone call. There is also no information about the closure of the restaurant on the Internet in Google searches or on the homepage. That doesn't work at all!!!

Very good meal at the tanners. The food was excellent. Whether it was the vegetable chaplain or the meat, everything was very well prepared, delicious and plentiful. And that’s not to mention the home fries which were simply delicious! The waitress is very friendly and the restaurant itself is pleasant. I recommend !

We came on Sunday November 6 and the restaurant was closed! However, it was indicated on Google maps and their site that it was open! Please announce or change times next time.

The place is cute but a little too bright for a dinner. The meal was good, with great taste. We found it a shame that the foie gras of the tournedos rossini was way overcooked. The tagine was excellent with lots of flavor. For the service, the person was very pleasant and helpful. however, having a second additional person in the room would make the service smoother.

The restaurant has two terraces. One of them has a beautiful view of the Sarine. But only for about three tables, the others don't have a special view. The food was too salty for me and a bit too expensive for what was offered. I can't really recommend a visit to a vegetarian, as there are practically only meat main courses. Otherwise, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We had a blast! We had a very pleasant evening, with excellent service and delicious dishes! We will gladly come back! Ps: The Royal tagine, this dish took me home (Morocco) and also zaalouk (eggplant caviar) a delight 😋😋😋A great discovery thank you

Really disappointed, I booked here since the restaurant had good notes. Found it really expensive for what it is... The hamburger we ordered rare came in well cooked, 45 minutes after we ordered. I would not recommend this place...😡

Very good experience! We arrived late in the evening, we waited about ten minutes while we were seated. We ate inside, the decoration was neat and very beautiful, the music was well chosen and at the right volume! I had a burger menu which was delicious, well served, and well seasoned! I found that there weren't enough fries for my liking, so the waiter very kindly brought me some, I really appreciated it! I found the price to be a little high but given the good quality of the products, it was justified. The staff was really very pleasant although stressed. We were able to stay until late in the evening, I had a great time, I 100% recommend going there!

A restaurant with cuisine that is worth the trip. The lamb shank is fantastic. A menu that offers a real vegetarian dish that is elaborate and very good to boot. Personally, I had the veal with morels, a dish full of flavor. A must try. A menu combining the flavors of the Maghreb and traditional French cuisine. It's worth the detour.

Un coup de cœur as they say it so nicely in French. If I would keep a ranking of restaurants I like the most in Fribourg, then Aux Tanneurs would immediately enter the top 5. Why? Because the food is great, the service is very friendly and its location in the old town just adds that bit of charm on top. They serve both Moroccan as well as local food but since the hunting season already started, we chose for the latter (we'll go back another time to try the tajine). The tender meat accompanied with the variety of mushrooms... very tasty. Definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, there is no provision for just a small snack. At lunch there is only one menu. So I only took the starter (tomato carpaccio), which cost Fr 15.00. A bit expensive for a tomato with a little olive oil.

Ein Restaurant mir herzlicher Bedienung und ausgezeichneten Essen. Zwar gibt es zur Zeit wegen Corona nur einen Take-Away, aber selbst hier wird hervorragende Qualität geboten. Essen konnten wir auf Bänken im Sankt Johann Park. Uns hat es auserordentlich gefallen. Sehr empfehlenswert... Un restaurant avec un service chaleureux et une excellente nourriture. Grâce à Corona, il n'y a qu'un seul plat à emporter pour le moment, mais même ici, une excellente qualité est offerte. Nous pourrions manger sur des bancs dans le parc de Sankt Johann. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Très recommandable...

La table est excellente - plats savoureux et originaux très bien présentés - et le lieu plein de charme. On peut se détendre à loisir sur la grande terrasse qui donne sur la Sarine. Le service est parfait et attentionné. Tous les membres du personnel sont sympathiques et accueillants et la patronne, qui oeuvre en cuisine, est une femme charmante et talentueuse, d'une grande sensibilité. Mein Mann und ich finden die Preise auch vollauf Fair.Dekos auf den Tischen und im gesamten Restaurant ist vertretbar und ästhetisch. Das Bad ist immerzu sauber und allem in allem vermittelt das Restaurant einen guten Eindruck.Das Lokal hat uns total und auf ganzer Linie umgehauen. Tolles Preis Leistungs Verhältnis.Wirklich schneller und netter Service. Ich finde, dass das ganze Personal dort einen sehr guten Job gemacht hat.

Ce restaurant mériterait facilement 4 voire 5 étoiles, mais l’expérience mentionnée ci-après a été plus que bizarre. En effet, la carte est variée, la nourriture est très bonne, la serveuse sympathique et de bon conseil et le rapport qualité - prix plus que correct. De plus, on se sent en sécurité du fait du respect des règles « covid ». Le problème vient d’une autre serveuse (espérons qu’il s’agit d’une employée et pas de la « manager »), extrêmement désagréable, qui n’a pas l’air de beaucoup d’investir dans son travail et qui fait des remarques désobligeantes voire inadmissibles au client du fait que nous n’avons pas pris la table à l’extérieur initialement dressée pour nous mais une autre table à l’intérieur (alors même que nous sommes un groupe de 7 qui payons une facture conséquente). Un comportement « hallucinant », un manque de respect flagrant d’une clientèle pourtant peu tatillonne. Malgré tous les points positifs mentionnés, je ne retournerai plus dans cet établissement.

Die Dekoration auf den Plätzen und im gesamten Restaurant ist vertretbar und ästhetisch. Die WC´s sind immerzu rein und allem in allem vermittelt das Restaurant einen tollen Eindruck.Ich kann dies Restaurant wirklich weiterempfehlen!Alle Gerichte sind ansprechend hergerichtet und werden stetig warm serviert. Schneller und höflicher Service. Ich finde, dass das gesamte Personal dort einen tollen Job gemacht hat.

Essen war fein, Tisch trotz Reservation nicht gedeckt, 25 Minuten zum Bestellen gewartet, 40 Minuten auf die Getränke gewartet. Das Essen war nach 50 Minuten da (was OK ist). Beim Rauslaufen stapelten sich unaufgeräumte Speisen und Getränke. Kurz gesagt; die Organisation und der Service (war zwar freundlich) hinken der Ambiente und dem Essen stark hinterher. Evtl. Wären die Probleme mit einer zu zusätzlichen Person gelöst.

Rapport qualité prix au top et la nourriture était succulente. rien à dire, équipe ai top et adorable nous avons étais accueilli di début a la fin aux meilleurs conditions et d'une superbe façon. On remercie l'équipe en cuisine qui ont fait du super travail et la serveuse avec le sourire et très aimable. A recommandé sans aucune hésitation et sans aucun doute de retournerais ❤❤

Cuisine de qualité, produits frais, grand choix de plats, tout est faits maison (de l'amuse-bouche au dessert) et préparés avec amour et passion. On s'est régalé!! Un bon rapport qualité/prix. La patrone et le personnel sont très aimables serviables et sympathiques. Nous y sommes allés entre amis et nous avons profité du jolie cadre, le charme de la basse-ville de Fribourg et la superbe terrasse qui donne sur la Sarine. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

J’avais avisé j’avais l’anniversaire et donc avoir une petite présentation pour dessert.. j’arrive au moment du dessert.. nada, comme si la chose était inconnue. Donc dessert très basique sans aucune présentation, même après avoir dit là chose 2 fois aux serveuses. Question prix!! Dessert très basique avec l’air de dessert industrielle. 16 chf!!!! Quand 8 ou 9 aurait été plus que suffisant. L’eau minérale en bouteille : 1lt chf 10 !! Un profit du 1000%?!?! Eh gastrofribourg??? Des prix justifiés par quoi!?!! Absolument des voleurs et hors prix!!!!
