The place has nice food and nice atmosphere, and the service was great as well! We enjoyed our dinner! The portion (plat du jour for 2 people) was quite big for us though.

Superb discovery, for my colleagues and myself. The waiter offered us the discovery menu for 45.-, I have never seen so many dishes on a table, a festival of flavors and varied tastes, vegetables, meats, salads. I loved it and the menu was more than sufficient. Superb discovery, a small downside, it's noisy, but the cuisine is fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was here on my birthday at the end of 2023. It's a tasty and very cozy restaurant with exceptionally delicious lamb. Two downsides – the portions are small, and despite our advance reservation and arriving almost before anyone else, we were seated on uncomfortable hard chairs when there were plenty of more comfortable seats available. But my friend and I definitely give a plus for the lamb.

Delicious ! Everything is absolutely a treat. We took the tourist guide's plate which is a very complete tasting plate. Different choices were offered to us to best suit our tastes. The Lebanese lemonade was also very good. I can't add anything, go there with your eyes closed you won't be disappointed.

Every time I eat at taolé it's like having taken a trip to Lebanon... Well done and very kind...

Best Lebanese restaurant in Lausanne. Our favorite restaurant in all of Lausanne.

First of all I will start by saying that the prices are extremely expensive for the quality. Then: poorly organized unfortunately. While taking the order, the person left 4-5 times and cut us off several times. Super slow. Then, booking for 10 people cost us a fee of 150 chf to be deducted from the final sum of the invoice but I had never experienced paying to reserve a table. Food: nothing special. Knowing that I have tasted Lebanese food all over the world, frankly we can find better. The dish with chicken: you receive 2 small pieces of burnt chicken with lots of bones and skin, in the end not a lot of meat, the potatoes are very good and the salad too, but not at the price of 36 chf per dish. That's it, I won't go back there for the arguments mentioned

Every time I came to Taolé, it was a treat. Mouttabal, fattouche salad are my favorite dishes. But everything is delicious there. The grill and fit plate with Kafta skewers and the Tourist Guide plate with chef’s mezze are great! Thank you for this culinary journey and your kindness. See you soon

Very good food and above all different from the usual Lebanese restaurants. I recommend the arnabit (heads of cauliflower) and the warak enab (vine leaves). I'm not going to tell you everything, I'll let you discover for yourself. The prices are very very fair. The mezze at 9-10.- are surprisingly generous in quantity! The service was impeccable, nothing to say. Atmosphere: meh. Frame meh. Tip: if you go with 3, book for 4. This will save you from being in the way with a side table!

I visited this restaurant for lunch and had their lunch menu, food was very tasty and price fair. The ambient is also nice and staff is polite. I will go back to try the evening menu.

Edited: The first time we tried this place we had a bad experience with the service time; however, our Lebanese fiends convinced us to give it another chance and we are happy they did. On our second visit the service was much better, the waiters were very kind and the food quality excellent. The price -vs- quality and quantity of the food are fair.

Nice setting, service sometimes a little slow. The fit and grill plate with the chicken is very good. The humous and the salad are excellent. I suggest the Osmaliyeh dessert (it’s a shame it’s not always served with pistachio).

I order out or eat in at Taolé nearly every week. Tony is an amazing cook. He and Mike create a very friendly atmosphere. I’m Lebanese by background and I must say, this is as good as my mom’s cooking. Even she was impressed when she came to visit!

The chef's menu is top notch, very generous and very good and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Here you can find fusion Lebanese food with nicely decorated modern interior. Came for late dinner around 9 pm on weekdays and easily found the seat. Ordered 3 mezza chauds + 2 rissoles for 2 people and it was enough to make us full. We tried the hommos lahmé (hummus with lamb), dynamite djej (saucy fried chicken), arnabit (fried cauliflower). Chicken reminded us to korean style chicken and the fried cauliflower was something new and interesting for us in a very good way😊 Excellent experience!

Very nice discovery in the heart of Lausanne. This restaurant offers Lebanese specialties at very affordable prices, I went there at lunchtime. Remember to reserve your table, because the restaurant was full. You can also place an order (previously or on site) and have your meal to go. They also offer a delivery service. The service is rather quick, the food excellent and tasty, we are easily tempted by the adventure!

I love it......except at lunchtime because there is a smell of grilling on clothes, especially when placed at a high table.....and in the evening the service is very very long......I come back because the food is good and the waiter is friendly.. .but if there is no change in organization I won't come anymore......and it's horrible to see delivery men eating served before the customers on site

It is a very good Lebanese restaurant, clearly among the best in Lausanne. We had chicken and lamb skewers. Perfectly cooked and tasty. In addition, the inevitable hummus and moutabal were tasty. Very good quality of food, friendly staff and quick preparation. The prices for the individual components are fair, with around 3-4 different mezzes everyone will probably be full. If you take the large platter (for 2 people or more), you have a great selection of the most popular dishes and definitely not a few of them.

Superb cuisine with a lower price than are designed, impeccable service atmosphere seeing that it's often full at lunchtime to discuss business it's a bit confusing seeing the world, a bit like the brasseries of Paris 🤣. A superb place to invite someone in the evening to taste healthy cuisine which is a nice change from roasting sausage. Also recommended for lunch. Booking is safer!
