My favorite tapas restaurant. I had dinner after get off work. The portion was not big, but it was still filling. I haven’t been here for a while, and there are some new dishes, all of which taste great. But the restaurant is really not big, so it is recommended to make a reservation.

The tapas were very tasty, there are different ones with a nice fusion flavour. Not your typical tapas. The service is very good, they explained the food and wine well and in detail. Good food, place and people.

Woooow! Positively surprised, the tapas we tried were all absolutely fantastic, we will be back for more! Creative and interesting interpretation of classic dishes, loved it.

Small but nice. Really very fine! The four of us initially ordered 9 tapas and a bottle of wine, then after a short break we ordered another 4 tapas and a second bottle of wine. Afterwards, dessert. Everything was prepared with a lot of love and all the tapas were very tasty. The service was also very nice and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

Small and fine kitchen. Very good quality of the food. Super friendly service. The only deduction is in summer because you are right on the street. But otherwise a really good tapas shop. Always worth a visit

Brutal! Real spanish food. It really feels like you are in Spain. Very elaborated tapas with the best quality ingredients. It is a little Spanish oasis in the middle of Zurich. We are from Spain and we come always here when we miss our food! Also good and quick service, very nice atmosphere.

Small Spanish restaurant with various tapas. Numerous vegetarian options. It's a bit cramped, but the food and friendly staff are great! In addition, the menus are beautifully and creatively prepared. We would like to come again. Reservation recommended.

Really cool place with spanish vibe. The staff was super nice and the food was great. I was able to order all my favourite spanish tapases and i was very satisfied with them. We definitely gonna go back. I can only recommend this place. :)

The restaurant is small and cozy, simply furnished. You immediately feel welcome and are greeted warmly by the two young men. One serves in a friendly, attentive manner and gives great information about the various tapas dishes. The other prepares the dishes that are served without a long wait. Not everything is served at once, which is very good. All the tapas we tried were VERY tasty. My favorites were the "aubergine fingers" and "crispy pork". Must visit Tapas & Friends again to eat these dishes again, try new ones and enjoy the warm and cozy atmosphere.

Met at Albanifest 2022, slow staff, endless waiting (30 minutes + for a food stand) and a bit miscalculated when it came to the quantities, because shortly before it was my turn the portion size was so reduced that I skipped the ladies with children I'm sure I can still get some churros behind me. So unfortunately I can't say much about the taste.

A hidden gem in Wiedikon! Manuel took really good care of us. Price-quality is perfect. Our personal favorites: eggplants with honey, patatas bravas and truffled tuna cone.

Very very tasty tapas and authentic atmosphere. Really felt like we were in Barcelona. The restaurant is very cute. So it's better to reserve in advance otherwise it could happen that you don't get a seat. I will definitely come back.

Yesterday I was at Tapas&friends for the third time. Service is very courteous and warm. The little pub is cozy. The tapas are authentic with a touch of modern homemade creation. Gladly again!

Incredible authentic food and wine - perfect place for a date night

This is one of our favs in Zueri for an uncomplicated and easygoing dinner. Why? Because it’s cosy, friendly to the core and serves just amazing tapas! And Verdejo ☺️ Goes without saying, here you share plates. But let’s go through some menus highlights: jambon iberico, the quality is pitch perfect, the fat just melts in your mouth, it’s just a classic you have to get. The trio of croquettas (cabeljau, iberico & shiitake) and patatas bravas are a must. We really enjoyed the chicken piruletas (fried chicken sticks). And we absolutely recommend the tuna truffle cones and the chorizo, we love it. We finish up with another classic, a tasty crema catalana.

Best tapas in town. Classic but also novel tapas. The staff is super friendly and the place is nice and simple. The prices are completely fair because the quality is definitely right. The wine list is not very large, but the selection is sufficient and rare wines can be found. The wine list also has completely fair prices. The eggplants with honey are recommended!

Had a fun evening at Tapas & Friends and enjoyed sharing the delicacies. The food and wine were very delicious, the food was also presented nicely on the plates. We even ordered more although we were quite full already. Only downside is the outside seating as it is right now. Tables are at places where I guess you wouldn't place them usually. Two were even quite close to the street. Nevertheless definately worth a visit. We will be back if only to get a taste of the rest of the menu.

The treatment has been super special, the only thing that was enough was the attention of the waiters to hear that it is my birthday to invite me to a jug. Great attention, nothing was missing and the treatment was very close. Highly recommended for families and large groups. He had no doubt that we will repeat ✌🏼

Food is great and service is friendly. The location is not the best, internal tables are definitively ok, but when it comes to sit outside you are just by the street and it can be quite noisy. Still worth for the great quality/price ratio.

Didn't answer the phone for an evening. When I drove there to order in person (for take away), the guy said the kitchen had been closed for 5 minutes! Juice shop.

Tapas & Friends has been recommended to me by others in the past. When we were there a few weeks ago, our expectations were far exceeded. The two-person team runs a wonderful tapas restaurant here. We tried many different dishes from the menu and were simply thrilled.

Decent tapas, you should stick to the basic. It’s best for the apero just with jamon, manchego and pan con tamote, nothing more.

El menú es una maravillosa sinergia de ingredientes, muy variada y con una calidad excepcional. La mayoría de los productos son importados de España.Soy de Sevilla, y gracias a Manu y Christian tuve el placer de tener un viaje culinario de regreso a casa. Pedimos 8 tapas + desierto para 4 de nosotros, y nos sentimos muy bien después. Además, la presentación de los platos es encantadora y te convierte en una parte activa de la experiencia culinaria. Realmente lo recomiendo: -)

Hicimos una reserva para un lunes. No sé si eso es necesario, pero es bueno tenerlo. La comida era buena, pero la variedad no. Nos sentamos afuera, lo cual fue agradable, pero hay mucho tráfico. El servicio fue bueno. Nos faltaba algo, no puedo decir exactamente qué.

Tapas & Friends eignet sich hervorragend für einen Apéro mit Freunden nach der Arbeit, oder einem romantischen Tête à Tête. Ambiente, Service und Essen sind top!

I can't understand the comments about the prices, there were 4 of us. We really ate enough and drank 2 bottles of wine for 60.- per person, which is completely fine for a restaurant in Zurich. The service was warm, the food was very good and we will definitely be back soon.

Friendly staff and great taste. I wish I could rate a 4 at least, but the portion sizes were small, and overall expensive, even for Zurich. They can also improve on their vegetarian options (something expected by Zurich crowd nowadays), instead of merely removing the meat part from the dish while keeping the same price.

We went there and it was breathtaking. I am usually too picky to give a five star rating but this was well worth it. Incredible delicious food! We had: -Potatoes with garlic cream -bread with garlic cream -eggplant fingers with some honey -chorizo -calamari -gambas with garlic -crema catalana (2x) -estrella beer (2x) Everything was super delicious, the calamari not chewy at all and the eggplant not too sweet. The rest was on point too. The atmosphere was nice and some Spanisch music. Without ever being there I could imagine it was authentic. Price was with CHF 91 also more than okay. Only minus point was the fact I couldn’t pay with Lunch Check but thats actually my personal thing.

Meiner Meinung nach das beste und authentischste Tapas-Restaurant in Zürich. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich, aufmerksam und engagiert. Die Auswahl ist grossartig und endlich mal echt Spanisch. Würde ich jedem weiter empfehlen, der authentische spanische Tapas geniessen will!

Excelente ubicación, cerca de la estación de tranvía Lochergut.El restaurante con un "show para dos personas" (un cocinero detrás del bar de la cocina y un camarero), verdaderos muchachos españoles, que transmiten la sensación sentado en un bar de tapas en La Rambla.La comida era extraordinaria y bien presentada. El menú tiene una buena cantidad de opciones de tapas.Recomiendo totalmente este bar de tapas, si te apetece pasar una noche en Barcelona.

I came here for date night and I was not disappointed. We made a reservation online and when we arrived, we were immediately greeted by our waiter. We managed to get a table outside, as the weather was nice and inside was a bit warm. We chose the tasting menu for two people and ordered a bottle of white wine. The wine menu is not big, but the wines are good and pair nicely with the tapas. If you are missing tapas and want to feel like you’re at home in Spain, then this restaurant is definitely the place for you. Everything was so delicious. They really know what they are doing here. All the drinks are also from Spain, including all the wines. I definitely recommend this place, even if you are just meeting friends and want a quick bite to eat, or a long night of talking and drinks. I will definitely come here again.

We loved it. A bit crowded and small but we liked sitting next to the road watching the people passing by. The selections of dishes were unique and wasn't even to be found in Spain. A good experience.

This restaurant stays always true to its name. In a warm and cosy atmosphere we enjoyed the chef’s selection of tapas. We were served with all the tasted of Spain and had spanish beer to savour between dishes.

Das Tapas and Friends ist eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants in Zürich. Der Service ist freundlich, hilfreich und sehr kompetent. Die Portionen könnten durchaus etwas grösser sein sind aber seeehr fein.

I wanted to check this place out for a long time already. Unfortunately I have to agree with other reviews on the portion size. Tapas are suppose to be shared but with 8-10 pieces of potato or padron pepper there is not that much to share. The quality is good, though I think there could be more taste to the patatas bravas sauce. The cheese platter serves 3 thin slices of 3 different types of cheese. I personally did not like all cheeses but that is a matter of taste. We also had 2 glasses of red wine of which one was too cold (maybe from the fridge). Tastewise the wines were good. Lastly, the service I found very friendly and quick. In summary, I think you should not come here if you are very hungry or really want to dine, but it works well as a place to have a glass of wine and a snack.

Food delicious and authentic. Very tight space and a bit expensive. But it's normal for Zurich. Be sure to try the croquets. Below photo of the chicken lollipop

Bedienung: mega freundlich und flink!Essen: nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht der Hammer. Teilweise zu fettig...Wein: wir hatten Rose Wein, der sehr fein warAmbiente: Klein, cooler Platz Preise: Für die Qualität, die wir bekamen einfach zu teuer!Fazit: sehr bemühte Gastgeber in coolem Ambiente, jedoch passt die Qualität des Essens mit den Preisen nicht zusammen...

Ambiente, Freundlichkeit und Service im Generellen verdienen 5 Punkte und sind Gründe genug, um wieder zu kommen.Wir probierten ungefähr einen Viertel der Gerichte und stellen fest, dass das Essen in ganz unterschiedlicher Qualität serviert wurde. Das Avocado-Tatar mit Lachs war gut, leider zu kalt und ungenügend abgeschmeckt. Die Croquetas de bacalao waren sehr gut, der Jamón Ibérico könnte von besserer Qualität sein (Paletta von Blazquez wäre meine Präferenz), das Rindsfilet mit Foie war übergegart und leider wie Vieles wurde es auf Baguette serviert, schade! Die Tortilla war hingegen wieder sehr gut, ebenso das Escalivada (mariniertes, gegartes Gemüse mit Manchego), die Patatas bravas mit Aioli und die Crema Catalana.Preis-Leistung in Bezug auf die Weine ist intakt und keineswegs überrissen für Zürich.Gerne wieder!
