The food was a bit cold, the kebab seemed old, and it was obvious that it had been reheated or that the meat wasn't fresh. The kebab shape was not the usual style; instead it seemed like the meat had been compressed and cooked solid. Additionally, the half-finished potatoes had obviously been purchased from a grocery store and appeared to be old, with a distinct smell of old oil. The kebab was placed on top of the salad which resulted in it getting even colder. The toilet was dirty and black spots of dirt were clearly visible on the toilet door, which I captured photographically. Additionally, the cistern knob was also covered in dust and dirt and it was obvious that it had not been cleaned in the last week. Urine stains were visible everywhere in the toilet area. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Not only will I never go to this restaurant again, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Of course, if you don't know good kebab and the points mentioned are not important to you, this restaurant might be acceptable for you.

We had dinner with the whole family, it was very good! Large portions for little money. The food is really Arabic. You feel like you're from 1001 Nights there. The owner was very friendly and greeted us personally. Above all, we found it very clean!

Walked for 25 minutes and arrived at 8pm to find it closed. Update your times or keep up with your schedule.

Come to us in a house, local accommodation, staff are available. The kitchen is eccezionale. As if you were at home, cozy place, very available staff. The cuisine is exceptional.

Tassnim Orient has been my absolute favorite restaurant for years. The delicious food never disappointed me or any of the friends I brought with me and the courteous owner runs the restaurant with a lot of enthusiasm and dedication. I'm always happy to come back!!

The restaurant's food is less than normal and its prices are very high. From the beginning, the restaurant is Arabic and there is no Arabic menu, so you order and then are surprised with an unimaginable bill. You may eat in Dubai's most luxurious restaurants for cheaper. My personal opinion, stay away from it completely, no matter how passionate you are about Arabic food.

Great, but not for a short and quick meal. Because of the price. More likely when you have a planned dinner, event or other time to enjoy it. Very friendly staff, the food was good. I'm used to some hummus and flatbread being served before the actual meal. Unfortunately that didn't exist.

The gentleman who served, had pretty bad English, he got mad with another couple who couldn't speak German, his service was terrible.And the food was definitely not home made,they serve pommes frites with falafel, don't see the point of that maybe was for fill up the little dish the served me.On the top of that,the fries where dipped in oil,the were soggy and not pretty warm.

I can highly recommend this restaurant! An absolute recommendation!! If you want really good Lebanese food, then you've definitely come to the right place! I have been to the restaurant many times and tried many different dishes and they were all very tasty. I would particularly like to emphasize the service, all the employees and the owner are incredibly nice and take full care of you. There really is nothing left to be desired!! I ordered 2 shawarama and 2 orange juice, the total was 72 francs!!

The food is good. I asked them for a large grill plate with 8 skewers and a plate of hummus for 83 Swiss francs, and the soft drink I took from the grocery store opposite the restaurant for 2 francs, which costs 4.5.

The food is good, but the price-performance ratio is out of proportion. The portions are far too small for what it costs. You almost feel like you're being ripped off.

I do feel that the portions are small and ambience could be better but we were served nicely and paid attention to by the staff. We enjoyed the food esp the BBQ dishes and Fattoush salad. In my opinion while the price is a bit high for the portions, this is definitely a good place for halal food in Lucerne.

What a scam.. Two meals, two appetizers and juices cost us 150€.. approximately 650 riyals... We were shocked by the price.. Had the opportunity to dine here recently, and sadly, it was far from satisfactory. Without getting into the nuances of cost, the primary issue was with the dish portioning. We shelled out approximately 180€ for a pair of plates, only to be presented with surprisingly small servings. To say it fell short of our expectations would be an understatement. As for the cuisine itself, it left much to be desired. The flavor profile was severely lacking in depth and complexity, giving an overall impression of mediocrity. With a world of gastronomic options around us, in retrospect, choosing a charming Italian place or a novel vegetarian joint might have brought more joy to our taste buds. Ultimately, a dining establishment should leave its patrons feeling cared for, not short-changed. Here, however, we felt a glaring absence of warmth and generosity in their service. It's disappointing to see and certainly doesn't inspire a return visit. I regretfully wouldn't recommend this place for a meal.

If there’s less than one star I would have certainly given them. Absolutely rubbish and worthless. First of all, I need to point out that it’s absolutely not about money, but in principle. However, we came in and paid ca. 200 € for two dishes and the food portion was poorly and meanly very little! We shocked how stingy those people are! And the taste was externally plain and nothing impressive about it! We should have gone to an Italian restaurant or even though a vegetarian restaurant instead of got robbed. A restaurant who doesn’t treat their costumers with generous, you don’t need to visit at all! Not recommended at all!

Be careful the meat might not be as delicious as expected for a shawarma. For my experience it m’as not bad actually but not as tasty as it should be or as it usually is. That’s only for the meat. However the service is good. The sales and side dishes (mezze) are good.

Food is very good, recommend mangosaft (mango juice), it was my favourite. The staff is very friendly. I couldnt choose between chicken or beef shawarma so the chef customized for me half beef half chicken. We were there when they were closing but they were still very nice. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ❤

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Tassnim Orient with two friends and would highly recommend this restaurant. Abbas, the owner of the restaurant, welcomed us warmly. We ordered various cold and warm mezzes including Hommos, Falafel, Harra, Labne, Baba Ghanouj, Mhamara and Shawarma Chicken. Every dish was incredibly delicious and prepared to the highest quality. A special tip is the Lebanese beer, which is offered on the drinks menu. The real highlight of the evening, however, was Abbas, the owner of the restaurant. He was incredibly accommodating and listened to our every wish. He gave us great recommendations and made sure our dinner was a complete success. Overall, our evening at Tassnim Orient was a real pleasure. If you're looking for a top-notch Lebanese restaurant, be sure to stop by here.

We've had the vegi mezze platter there several times, which is very tasty. The Baba Ghanoush in particular is great. Yesterday I tried the non-alcoholic Barbican beer with a fruit flavor, I think it's great - you definitely have to try it. 😃

Unkind to travellers. They show you one menu then show you another when it is time to pay. When I came through the door I wasn't greeted. We were promptly sat at the table closest to the restroom. Upon ordering they do not give you all of the food you order. You have to use google translate to review what you order and then argue with the host about your missing food. I was missing hummos gerkins and 2 salads. After arguing I received no gerkins 1 salad and a small hummos. I would welcome them into my home if they came by my home if the tables were turned.

I often eat at Tassnim Orient. The food is very tasty and I have never tasted better hummus. The price-performance ratio is right, large portions and relatively low prices. The restaurant is authentically and comfortably furnished. The owner warmly welcomes guests and even holds the door open when they leave.

Very poorly presented. Shawarma was really dry and not freshly made. Fries were so dry you couldn't swallow them. Fatayer lame are so small and not worth 12 fr.- anywhere. Meat was dry and no seasoning on it. Really sad!!! And very over expensive!

The best Lebanese kebab at the *only* Halal place you can find in Luzern (based on the remark made by a girl we met at Barbes). They don't serve alcohol unlike any other place in Luzern. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Not only he taught me how to eat the kebab (like really i had to ask how exactly do you eat this lol), but also he gave me wonderful insights of Switzerland in general. There was one older guy, who doesn't really speak English but ver friendly and full of smiles, offered me another white sauce that comes with Shawarma (sorry i forgot its name) and hot sauce (not the ones like ketchup but authentic ground chili) when i finished it halfway my meal (it was delicious i tell you). I have had wonderful time when i was here and i highly recommend this place to any Muslim travellers visiting Lucern.
