Magnificent bakery!!! As much for the presentation of the dishes at the counter as for their character. Superb pastries, we want to taste them all. The summit to recommend, the vanilla bread, a treat!!!!

We were looking forward to some sandwiches, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The only taste it had was way too much salt. With an indefinable mass in it that should resemble ham. Unfortunately, everything was thrown away after a few bites.

Very cozy and quiet place with many pastry specialties for gourmets...

It's a perfect place for a coffee or tea after a few hours of cross-country skiing. But the local dishes for a lunch weren't bad either. The only problem was that they only spoke French (not even English!) and it wasn't easy to understand each other

A little paradise. Calm and relaxation

We arrived at the Boulangerie-Pâtisserie Salamin by chance after a day spent on the slopes. We wanted to refresh ourselves before hitting the road again. I pushed the door and "Wow": what was my surprise to arrive in this decoration so well thought out and arranged, I had the impression of finding myself at my grandmother's house. The little seating area at the back was so comfortable that I hesitated for a moment before leaving it. But the decoration and comfort were only the first part of the pleasant surprise, the second came from the products offered. The kings' crowns with and without grapes were excellent, as were the tarts. The drinks, from mulled wine to homemade hot chocolate, delighted us all. It is clear that if I pass through Grimentz again, I will stop there again.

Unfortunately, everything is becoming less and less, except the price. The size of the pieces of blueberry tart are a joke compared to before. You have to look for the bacon and cheese at Pain Braconier now. It used to be a good bakery, but this time we are disappointed and won't let ourselves be ripped off again. The price-performance ratio is simply no longer right, which is a shame.

Such a lovely place, with great customer service and heavenly tasty pastry. We had "croissant aux amandes" and "tarte aux myrtilles". We also bought the jam from there "myrtilles confiture". The best!!! Literaly. It won the best pastry shop in Switzerland award in 2015 ;)

Very charming rustic decoration, excellent fruit tart

If you pass this town on your journey you NEED to stop here. The interior of the cafe is charming and welcoming; the workers are polite and know English. We had a few treats that ranged from lemon shortbread, to peppered chocolate and they were all divine! The espresso is delicious, and the cappuccinos were made perfectly. On our whole tour of Europe, this random cafe definitely stood out. Love it!

Very poorly received by the saleswoman on Sunday, November 8. 2020 at 10.30am! If they don't like vacationers, you have to write it on the door! We can also go elsewhere, or bring them from home! The pastry is also very good here!

Love love love this place for breakfast. This bakery is quite famous in the region but this specific one is a sit-down bakery. For only 8 CHF, you can get a breakfast with croissant, bread, 3 kinds of jam, juice and a hot drink!
