Very cool, even for the “big” kids ;) Unfortunately we can't do it in one day, we'll be back... Highlight: the lightning show!

Excellent science centre. A lot of fun for kids and adults too.

Excellent to spend the day with the little ones. In each room a different atmosphere. They do a show with electricity in which you hear and see lightning. The bus drops you off directly from Winterthur station.

Absolute recommendation. Hundreds of experiments that really inspire young and old, all very interactive. Despite many visitors, hardly any waiting times. We also booked a chocolate workshop and made our own chocolate. Great experience!

Everything is just right here. We spent a great day at Technorama. Compliments to the kitchen team, the meal “Kunterbunt” was extremely delicious. The only thing that annoyed me when buying tickets online was that you can only pay with a credit card.

Fantastic science museum. Had English, French, and German explanations for all exhibits. We make a point of visiting science museums wherever we can, and this one is the best we have visited. I highly recommend it.

All very cool & interesting. From small to large, there is something for everyone. All experiments work perfectly, nothing is broken or damaged in any way. The only thing I would complain about is the "musty" smelling carpet on the ground floor....

Visit of a dad and his 14 year old daughter on a Sunday. There were of course people there, but the wait at the entrance was only 1 minute! the reception staff will guide you (even in French) on any questions you may have. The experiments and workshops are very fun and really interesting, even impressive. The only regret is that one day is far too short to visit everything. We will come back!...

Hands-on science. Simply fascinating if you are curious and eager to know. It would be desirable to have a simple and generally understandable explanation of why certain things work the way they do and not otherwise. I missed that. You are left out in the rain a bit. Employees have confirmed to me that I am not the only one who sees it this way. However, the issue has not yet reached the upper floor. Families can easily feed themselves with what they have brought with them. It has enough space.

A great place for a family trip! There are many exciting experiments to discover that will not only delight children. Everything from magnetism to light is included. A little tip: check right from the start to see when and which performances are taking place. You shouldn't miss it!

In my time, the management made a lot of effort to offer the audience fun, exciting and educational exhibits and experiences. Visitors have the opportunity to deal with the physical phenomena themselves (e.g. light, perception, thermals and much more) or have the staff explain them to them.

I was at the Technorama for six hours with three children, it was fantastic. The only downside: on the slide next to the "Blitz-Show" it's pretty nasty to write who would have the courage to touch the ball... Because the hit hurts quite a bit! Very nice team!

The place is really funny and interesting!

There were a lot of parking spaces, but they were 95% full, we paid around 6.- SFr for about 2 hours. The Technorama was very interesting for my children; there is a lot to see and the children and adults can operate everything themselves.

The best museum experience I've ever had! My son is almost 5 and loves experiments, natural phenomena, etc. - Technorama was right up his alley! The quality and variety, but above all the accessibility with which science is made accessible to little ones, deserves more than 5 stars. Really strong performance!

Countless exciting experiments. It's just a shame that visiting Technorama has degenerated into a bad weather option for daycare centers. It's sometimes annoying when you want to explain a phenomenon to your grandchild and a little one keeps interrupting and happily pushing the buttons...

Best tech museum. of Switzerland.

Many exciting and interesting experiments from a wide variety of disciplines. There is something to try and discover everywhere. Interesting for young and old. The special exhibitions bring a lot of variety. Due to the size, the visitors are spread out very well and you only wait 1-2 minutes at most. For the price you should spend at least half a day to make it worth it. This may seem a bit high, but everything is well maintained and clean.

Great place, I can only recommend it. The presentations are also very interesting. Unfortunately, we were only there for 4 hours, so we will definitely come back 1 more time. Both the 5 and 11 year old enjoyed it.

Lots of activity posts, all very interesting! Lots of people and a bit of chaos with many quite small children left without guides/supervision. But otherwise a superb interactive exhibition with beautiful live demos too!

Technorama is an experimental and understand with playing science center. More than 1000 exp. stands wait you for individual tests. Ground + 1st + 2nd floor + restaurant + drinks automats + souvenier shop. You can't enter with big bag and winter jacket, you can use free deposit box. You need minimum 3 hrs for exactly visit. Outside parking area have 8 coach pullman and +80 cars. Entrance fee change for 0-6 age, 6-14 age, adults, school groups, etc

Everything is OK, I really like the concept. With 8 grandchildren, I have already sampled visits and some will come. The only thing is that it's pretty expensive.

Some of it is very interesting but most of it is outdated. Quite expensive 2 adults 2 children entrance fee food parking just under 200 francs.

Very well done . Were there at 10 a.m. an hour later there would be no parking space. Food was good. Family friendly prices. A bit high except for the entrance fee.

It's so big that we didn't manage to finish experiencing all of them in 4 hours (we only traveled floor 0-2, and missed -1). For adults you can also find some fun here. Overall, I love the ants factory (0 floor, lab 5?), plasma lightning, and wood structures (2nd) floor most.

The Technorama offers you a lot of opportunities to try things out. There are a lot of experiments on different topics that are cool, interesting and educational. Everything you have to do is also well described. I also think it's cool that there is a laboratory. However, there is still a good cloakroom. The restaurant also has a lot of options. But sometimes it is a bit dirty. This is mainly because of the small children. Every second something falls to the floor. And then you step on a half-eaten chip. That's pretty disgusting. And the little children don't just disturb the food but also the experiments. They do some nonsense. Then they're there and occupy the position, even though they have no idea about anything. They use it for someone else Make sense and destroy things depending on the situation. Some also run around and play catch. That's annoying because you have to concentrate (you don't have to concentrate everywhere). Some even run around with drinks. With this great exercise device where you can concentrate as much as possible When I had to move like that 📈📉 by moving forward and back, a little child just ran into the red area and spoiled everything for me. Actually, they weren't too loud, but sometimes some of them cried like there was no tomorrow. And that's why I think that children under eight should not go to the experimental areas but only to the children's areas. Otherwise, the price is worth it (except for the parking lot, which costs eight CHF. It's a bit expensive in my opinion). But otherwise it was a great experience.

First class, perfect for children who are interested in technology

I'm 27 now and I'm still very familiar with Technorama from before. I really liked it back then. It was much more temperate than today. Was there again recently. But for the last time, because Technorama is now more like a playground. I see parents as having a duty to ensure that the Technorama remains an experience for all age groups. If everyone showed some consideration, everyone would be served.

It is also very interesting for the little ones as they can touch and try everything out. We were there from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and there wasn't enough time to see everything. Very friendly staff.

Very interesting science museum! Children have a great time exploring, operating and playing! One day from morning to night is not enough! It’s so much fun! Will come again next time! Great edutainment and lots of knowledge!

Very interesting for young and old

A great place to linger, marvel, discover and experiment. Also suitable for younger children from around 3 or 4 years old, as there is a lot to try out. Older children can experiment themselves and learn a lot of new things with the respective explanations. The entrance fee isn't exactly cheap, but you definitely get something for it. If you want to save money, take your own food - there are picnic areas. The restaurant offers a relatively large selection of food, even with a salad bar, and drinks. On sunny days during the week there are not so many visitors.

Many experiments and some shows can be seen. The entrance fee is relatively high at 33 SFR. You can spend 5 - 6 hours here. There is also a restaurant on site. Parking costs an additional 8 SFR.

It was our third visit, few hours every time and we still haven't seen everything. My 4yo loves it, you can experiment with everything, no exhibits to just watch (except amazing century old model trains, but that's another story and he enjoys watching them a lot!) Nice restaurant, coin operated lockers (free of charge, the coin comes back to you). Option to charge your device. I bought a yearly ticket after the first visit and for sure we will use it extensively. :)

Is highly recommended for children aged 6 and over As in most such places, the food in the restaurant is rather expensive and canteen-like.

Children (5 & 7) loved trying things out everywhere

You can never get enough of this place, I go back twice a year and for an excuse I take my grandkids and nieces and nephews...

I find it very exciting how simple and understandable physical experiments can be experienced. Of course there is also a lot more for fun and games and learning at the same time.

Remarkable museum for young and old children. Applications of understanding magnets, electricity and electromagnetism. Also interesting for adults. Good restaurant so you can stay for several hours. Not far from Zurich, easily accessible by car.

On January 3rd, it felt like the whole of Switzerland was there with children between the ages of 4 and 12.

Always a great thing for young and old. However, I have to say that the prices in the restaurant are completely exorbitant. For what you get, it's a disgrace.

Incredible, the experiences are well presented and in 4 languages ​​(English, German, French, Italian). The museum is so big and complete that I didn't even have time to see everything! I highly recommend. PS: consider buying tickets online, it greatly shortens the queue :)

This science center is made for everyone ! Your level of education, your age, all of that really doesn't matter. You'll have fun discovering or rediscovering mechanics, fluids, light, biology etc. Just go for it !

Were there with our eight-year-old grandson. Very interesting, entertaining and educational exhibition. Unfortunately, entry is not cheap. That's why only four stars.

We LOVE Technorama! Our children are 3 and 5 years old and they discover something new every time. We only go home because the Technorama is closing again. 😃 You can try out and discover everything that we really like. And the shows are great, even though we've never met Sigi before. 🤭 For us adults, we also have the theory behind the experiments to read about and so we always learn something. At the weekend the people are spread out very well.

A really great alternative in bad weather. Admission isn't really cheap, but it's definitely worth it and best of all, whether young or old, the whole family has fun! 2-3 hours is the absolute minimum! It's best to plan more time. There is parking available directly at Technorama, but these are quickly exhausted. And unlike the Museum of Transport, for example, most things work here.

One of the best places in Switzerland to go with kids. The exhibits are very well presented, the shows are incredibly entertaining and the staff is lovely! The food was so much better than expected with lot of vegetarian and vegan options! We spent the entire day here and couldn`t get enough and didn`t even have time to see everything! We will come back very soon.

Interesting but definitely too many people.

We took many exciting impressions home with us. There is so much to do and see that 1 day is not enough. The children really enjoyed the lightning show. A really educational day.

We really enjoyed our visit, really very interesting, educational and clever in terms of the playful presentation of physics elements. If all the experiences have a translation into several languages, we really regretted that the demonstrations and shows were only in German, worse for the main show which was only in the local dialect!
