We spent 5 days in the Flims/Laax/Falera ski area. We visited various restaurants in the ski area. By far the best was the Tegia Curnius. Great selection, very good food prepared on site. We were disappointed with the other restaurants. Thanks to the great team.

Beautiful cabin. Very quaint and cozy with a great outdoor terrace. Unfortunately, the Rösti with bacon and fried egg is no longer available. That was always our main reason for going to this hut. What a shame!

The chicken was great but it really sucks having to pay €2 for a glass of tap water when many places on the mountain provide it for free.

It is very nice. Service is excellent. You eat very well here. The fries and the Kaiserschmarrn are especially excellent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The design of the room is rather empty, but it is comfortable and beautiful. It must be clean and tidy.

Perfect little Swiss Hütte with traditional dishes. self service, has both indoor tables and sun terrace. Unfortunately Rösti is not on their regular menu anymore, which was the main draw for me.

The most friendly mountain restaurant in the snow arena. You can still order without a Laax app QR code. The sun terrace is of course sought after, the fireplace is priceless in bad weather. Please, stay as you are!

The Tegia Curnius is a really beautiful hut. The staff is super friendly and the food is very tasty. The salad bar is perfect and always fresh. The Tegia Curnius is also one of the huts where you can still get freshly cooked food. I can highly recommend Tegia Curnius to everyone.

We love Tegia Curnius and are always happy when we can stop in for a meal. The food is prepared fresh every day and there is something for everyone, from the rich salad buffet to Swiss hut classics to the tempting cake buffet with coffee. A daily changing lunch menu also provides even more variety. We run a small bed and breakfast ourselves and always recommend Tegia Curnius to our guests as an insider tip in the ski area. Very spacious salad bar, one of the last places where you can order at the buffet and not do so via screens. Very tasty food cooked in the hut! Always and probably forever my favorite on the mountain! Unfortunately the Rösti is no longer available, but there is an excellent Chilli con Carne in the bread bag.

Dry fries, questionable maluns and unfriendly

Tegia Curnius, once a jewel among mountain restaurants, seems to be losing its luster. Where the Dutch-managed restaurant stood for quality and authenticity, there is now a noticeable shift towards mass production. The unique flavors that once distinguished the restaurant have given way to a flat, uniform taste experience that is more reminiscent of factory food than artisanal preparations. Whether it's the cakes, the coffee, the cream or the warm dishes, everything misses that special touch that once made Tegia Curnius unique. The dishes lack depth and character, which you wouldn't expect in a mountain restaurant with such a rich history. It's sad to see how a restaurant that was once known for its quality and special flavors has now become a place where the dishes no longer stand out. The staff and the location remain top notch, but they can no longer save the overall experience. The loss of the Dutch operator appears to have been a turning point for Tegia Curnius. A missed opportunity for what was once one of the best mountain restaurants.

One of the last huts where you can get cooked food! The salad bar is perfect! The chicken was a dream and the other food saw a chef. You can get fries and pasta in Nagens and Segnes... I will always go to this hut! Simply because there are no monitors to order! Not part of a ski holiday

We are very disappointed with the staff here. We arrived slightly late. Even though they still had food left, they didn't want to serve it to us and ended up throwing it away.

The hut is only accessible from the piste. Recommended

Another 2 cases of food poisoning! In just 2 weeks! Do not eat here in any case!

Enjoyed our experience here. My chili con carne was very nice and the rest of the group also was satisfied with their food. We'll come back.

It's crazy how quickly things went over the festive season, even with the biggest crowds. Janine and her team have it completely under control. Excellent! We love the Maluns based on an old recipe!

Self-service is no longer appropriate! The seats are unoccupied / occupied by guests who have to wait in line for a long time to pick up food and drinks

Great cabin. Very fine food! freshly and quickly prepared. Nice ambience on the sun terrace. The service at the outside bar is also great! :)

The child was poisoned with bolonaise paste on December 31. An hour after lunch here, my daughter had a sharp pain in her stomach. After 2 hours, vomiting and fever. The New Year's holiday was ruined by poor-quality food.

For these high prices we really expect more. The barley soup was an absolute disaster. This has nothing to do with barley soup but rather with barley bouillon. I've never had anything so thin and tasteless. I've been visiting Curnius since I was a child, but now the time has come to look for something else. That's not how it works - an absolute rip-off and just bad. Sad.

Nice place. Self-service. The food offerings in the fall were okay. There were small and large portions. Spaghetti Napoli small for 12.-- and spagetti Bolognese small Fr. 13.--. The portions are clearly too small for this price. Prices for self-service are generally rather expensive.

Never eaten such bad Kaiserschmarren, super dry, hard and simply not tasty even with double applesauce. The fries are completely over salted.

Amazing spot to take in some sun, great food and a refreshing Panasche (Swiss Radler) after skiing.

Nice mountain restaurant, but 10 CHF for a grilled Cervelat is clearly too much. The limit has been crossed for me!

Efficient service but order took longer than expected due to high number of clients. Sit on the benches facing down Laax and enjoy the view while munching down that Lufcauld and siping a local beer!

Actually a great spot. The outside area is awesome when the weather is good. The restaurant is pretty cramped, if you go at any time during peak times. Expect a 15-20 minute wait to get to hot food counter. Would come back.

Cozy, super friendly staff and extremely good food. We have been coming here for many years and will definitely continue to come here for years to come. In contrast to many other mountain huts, it has stuck to the old traditions.

The fries were ok, but nothing more. Should have been fried a little longer. The Äplermagronen were not edible. The waitresses were very friendly and did their job very well.

Worst Wiener Schnitzel I've ever had. A schnitzel that was bought in bulk, prepared weeks ago, frozen, warmed up in the microwave, left under a heat lamp for an hour or two would have tasted much better!

It was a pleasure ! Fair prices and large portions. My bratwurst alone barely fit on the plate. Ideal for hungry skiers but there are also half portions which is simply professional.

Nice self-service restaurant with panoramic views and fireplace. The Chilli Con Carne in bread is recommended! Unfortunately it is not possible to reserve seats at lunchtime. Since the restaurant was very full when we visited, it took some patience and commitment to get a seat.

Everything was very delicious, sausages with onion sauce and fries, fantastic place and the best, the girl from Mallorca who serves, who is charming!!!! They only need to have the sausages stuffed with cheese.

Cozy ski (hut) restaurant, sometimes with a fireplace to warm up. We only tried the desserts, the tart was a bit bland in the dough, the icing was very fine, the nut cake was very nice (and an extra thank you to the buffet staff because we were actually late but still got the cake), mostly friendly staff . When the weather is nice, there is a sunny terrace until the evening.

Mmmhhh... The Sunday Buura break every Sunday during the summer season is recommended. A great, clear self-service restaurant in summer and winter too. & since this year the only restaurant on the mountain with a large, delicious salad buffet :)

Mountain restaurant above Falera. Reachable by chairlift from Falera, by cable car from Laax Bergbahnen, by skis, snowboard, or on foot. Restaurant with self service. Large selection. Free deck chairs for use.

Tourist express processing. A horror.

Extremely friendly staff, especially Anita at the checkout and of course the boss Jeannine. Good food, freshly prepared on site, not like in the large catering establishments in the White Arena. Luckily, there are still places like this here and not just Nagens, Vorab and Galaaxy with their online ordering system and their food, which is mostly prefabricated in the lowlands and only warmed up here.

Far too little to no sensible vegetarian selection. Not even simple things like a hash brown with a fried egg.

The food is very tasty and the prices are really fair, but there are far too many people in the restaurant for Corona conditions and you are pressed at the table with strangers in order to fill all the seats. Simply a no-go at the moment.

Very nice restaurant in the middle of the ski and hiking area, which can also be reached directly with the cable cars.

Large terrace with huge parasols, although you only have a view of the mountains if you sit inside on the armchairs in front of the panoramic windows. Outside there is a small fountain that forms a small trickle in front of the terrace, a large slide and 4 trampolines, it is ideal for children. A few hiking trails cross, no cars pass. The food is good, the service is attentive and friendly. There is a changing table (only for women), the toilets are modern and clean.

Nice place, it's a shame that fewer facilities are open in summer than in winter, so be careful when planning.

I don't know what to say, but the prices are catastrophic, 20.- for a medium portion of lasagne, tables and benches outside were nice

The hut is in the immediate vicinity of the lifts. Terrace faces south. Because of corona there was only food outside. Food was OK so far. There was free mustard with the bratwurst. Rolls were delicious. Packaging material was largely ecologically degradable. Price performance OK. 5 stars if the outside tables were cleaned better.

Very rude service at the reception, which is never at work. Avoid!!!

Fondue well seasoned, not too creamy, still runny. Bread was e.g. T. somewhat dried out. Dessert was delicious, homemade ice cream. Tip: The friendly waitress didn't know which types of cheese were included in the fondue. "Probably not from Switzerland..." and yes, Valais is in Switzerland 😉. Nothing fresh except the salad. Everything else comes from a can and you can taste it too. Kaiserschmarren almost inedible dry. It's probably been there for 3 days... Drink prices outrageous.

One of the best self service restaurant on the slopes. Try the Maluns or the soup with Capuns, both regional specialities. Also the Mistchratzerli, a whole small roasted chicken is very tasty.
