Traditional Swiss cuisine, simple but very well executed, with very good products and everything homemade.

Had dinner at Aurora last night! The beef fillet was top class, as was the salad and not to forget the pasta with chanterelle sauce! In this restaurant we still cook and serve with love and heart. Keep it up! Super great!

Seen on the MTB lap and tested 2 days later. A great decision. Cozy atmosphere, very courteous service that creates a family feeling and fine food (hunter's salad, maluns, pizokel, homemade nut cake). A wonderful evening experience to end your holiday.

This is one of the "must go" places if you stay in the Laax/Flims area. Food, service and atmosphere is second to none and worth every minute of driving. Try their authentic "Buendner" specialities.. and top it of with one of the best grappa I have ever had!

Food was delicious. Waitress was very nice and pleasant. We were there with 2.5 years-old, they have a nice picture menu for little ones.

The capuns were very tasty, but in terms of the portion they were more of an appetizer and therefore way too expensive (CHF 27.50). The salad for the starter was very petty for CHF 9.50. Very friendly service, but due to the high number of people we had to wait more than an hour for the food.

Today we were guests for the first time with 4 people. The reservation was already very friendly, which was continued upon arrival. Service, food and dessert were impeccable, prices were acceptable. Good selection, including Graubünden specialties. !!

Great place on the sunny terrace. Mega friendly staff and a great menu. Unfortunately not hungry enough for something big. The dessert, however, was very tasty. Will definitely come back for the main course.

Hatten das Reh- und Hirschschnitzel mit Pizokel (aus CH und Österreich) Es war sehr sehr lecker und sehr schnell serviert! Die Bedienung war perfekt sowie auch die Wein Empfehlung! Zum Dessert gab es heisse Zwetschgen und Zimtglace, was ebenfalls sehr lecker war. Kommen sehr gerne wieder, besten Dank für den schönen Abend! PS: Die Nusstorte ist selbstgemacht und kann auch mitgenommen werden.

Wunderbares Hirschschnitzel aus dem Prättigau mit Eierschwämmli, Pizokel, Rotkraut mit Maroni und Preiselbeer-Apfel. Sehr nette Gastgeber, Ambiente drinnen und draussen passt. Die Nusstorte werden wir uns zuhause schmecken lassen!

Sehr freundlich und gute Menüs. Mit dem Buss bis Falera und dann ein feines Menü hier genesen und anschließend den Höhenweg nach Laax, das is ein Tageshiet. Die Menüs sind große Portionen und sehr nettes Personal, vom Großvater bis zum Kellner.

Charmantes lokal, hier kocht die Chefin, der Chef bedient mit persönlichem Kontakt und Flair. Gute, lokale Küche, faire Preise, ansprechender Karte, sehr kinderfreundlich. Unser Sohn durfte sogar die Küche besuchen. Wir kommen wieder!

In het kleine dorp Falera, waar niet heel veel horeca is, vind je Aurora. De gastheer is super. Heel relaxed en attent. Wij hebben er Zwitserse Fondue gegeten. Smaakvol. Lekkere kaas met veel smaak. Goed brood om te dippen. We kochten er een lekkere frisse fles witte wijn bij. Wijn uit de streek. Leuk toch? Met z'n tweeën waren we iets meer dan 100 Franc kwijt. Ca. 20 euro meer dan we normaal in Nederland kwijt zijn als we samen gaan eten. Ja, dat is meer dan 20%, maar t was het wel waard.

Käsefondue - excellent immer wierder ein Muss beim Urlaub in Falera. Kirsch dazu bestellen, Brot eintauchen und dann im Fondue mit Köse veredeln --> Mmmmh !!

Da gibt es die beste Bündnernusstorte. Aber auch die Menüs sind ein hit.

Osteria Aurora es un muy buen restaurante suizo en un lugar fuera de la vía. Comimos allí como parte de un recorrido a pie por el sur de Suiza. Aparte de la caminata, uno va a Falera para visitar la iglesia y las piedras megalíticas en Parc la Mutta. La comida y el servicio en el restaurante son bastante buenos. Teníamos filete y pasta de cerdo, algo muy común en esta parte de Suiza, que está cerca de la frontera italiana.

Angenehmes Ambiente, vor allem auf der Terrasse. Personal freundlich, jedoch nicht allzu schnell, also viel Zeit mitbringen. Qualität des Essens ist gut, Portionen im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ebenfalls okay.

Nous sommes allés pour la 1ère fois dans ce restaurant. Nous avons commandé des Capuns, moi végétariens et mon mari des traditionnels. J'ai reçu 4 pièces et mon mari 6! Je suis petite et mince mais je suis sortie de table le ventre presque vide. J'ai demandé au patron si c'était la portion normale et il m'a répondu que oui et qu'après avoir fini la sauce à la crème, les clients ont normalement assez mangé! Nous nous sommes sentis abusés. Dernière visite dans ce resto!

Pizokels a local typical food is the speciality of this little restaurant. The restaurant is located close the village church. Cars are allowed only for villagers, visitors have to park at the village entrance and walk for about 5-10 minutes. Food is good, simple and well presented. I have also posted a copy of my bill. Restaurant is clean and proper. Staff is very nice. I recommend the restaurant.

Wir waren am Samstag Mittag auf der sehr sonnigen Terrasse. Die Bedienung ist hunorvoll und speditiv. Ein Angebot an Bündner Spezialitäten wie Capuns und Pizokeks klingt verlockend.Wir bestellten einen Bündner Salat mit erstklassigem Bündnerfleisch sowie die hausgemachten Gemüse Capuns.Sehr gut. Dazuwurde feines Brot aufgetischt. Sehr faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
