Temaki Bar - Quai du Mont-Blanc in Genève

I order very regularly on Uber eats, (1-2 times a week since the opening) it is one of the best sushi restaurants in Geneva but we are more and more disappointed with the offer which is decreasing visibly. Look, at the beginning we could find sushi with scallops, lobster, fatty tuna but all that no longer exists, the latest removed from the offer, spicy bamboo shoots! In addition, we find that the quality decreases over time! What a pity… Additional disappointment during our last order for more than CHF 100.- and only 1 small sachet of wasabi in the bag… All this just makes you want to look elsewhere…

Really good sushi! Very clean & tasty food. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered California tamaki which was delicious, and the shrimp tempura rolls which was also delicious. And lastly the spicy tuna which we also liked. However for the things we ordered I think it is a bit pricey for the quantity but it is worth it.

I went on a Saturday lunchtime, the fried chicken was reheated. And I had beans that weren't fresh.

A shame. The quantities are shameful. You'd better serve your customers properly with normal portions. Quite simply theft and I would never recommend you again.

Very expensive for the degradation in quality. McDonalds service level would do better. To answer . An opinion is an opinion. Take this into account and train your employees better.

Very good quality temaki, this restaurant is especially suitable for a quick meal for the meal break, the drinks are barely cold due to the open fridge

Hello, a friend enjoyed the street food experience and took me there. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The waitress was not very pleasant and the temakis were good nothing more. I found them too expensive and too small for what they were. In addition, the presentation leaves something to be desired (consider including photos next to the labels for example).

I’m a big fan of Temaki bar, but the recent delivery order took so much time. It’s now already 1.5 hours from the order and it’s still “wrapping up”. Disappointed.

Fast service, good food but I don't think the price is justified (quite expensive).

Always at the top in quality and service I will come back more than once, new temaki caviar available.

Delicious Sushis staff is super kind and helpful.

Average sushi and way too expensive, especially for the quantity (temaki 15.- and 6 "crispy tuna" sushi overflowing with mayonnaise 15.- and a beer for 6.-). In addition, they don't make hot side dishes in the evening. Welcoming staff but cold atmosphere.

Disappointing...the miso soup was ordinary, the nori sheet of the temaki fell apart making it difficult to eat and the sake was not fresh. In addition, the welcome left a lot to be desired and the price displayed for the drinks did not correspond to what we paid on the bill! Too bad, I won't come back again.

Great service, smiling and efficient, we forgot an item and the cook ran after us in the street 500 meters away to bring it to us!!! We really recommend!

Update : Fake bought five star reviews. Check how many people left their very first reviews in the last few weeks, right before the rating would have gone below 4.0, as it should. Make your own conclusions 😉 Quality is really down in the last few months. The sushi in the daily menu are completely tasteless. The salmon ones in particular have a gummy texture. This used to be the best sushi in town. Now it is very overpriced.

The best temakis in town. Also by courier delivery via applications. Nice setting but a shame that the laboratory is no longer open for takeaway sales. Otherwise they are also in Vésenaz... we still have to try there.

I was very happy to be able to eat delicious hand-rolled sushi in Geneva, which is listed as a travel destination. The miso soup was made with Kansai-style white miso and was delicious and relieved my fatigue. Service impeccable. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.

Excellent sushi and service! I lived in Japan for 5 years and to me this is by far the best quality take away sushi in the city. They also have amazing lunch deals and very friendly staff, highly recommend it

Our order was prepared incomplete for a birthday and when we asked to check the gentleman told us "no need everything is there". Impossible to reach them by phone to correct the situation, it’s just unacceptable.

Very good sushi with rather high quality but very good price. I got two different making roles (6 each) with a seaweed salad and 2 pieces of chicken for a total of 35. You get all the sides (wasabi, soya sauce, etc.) for free but you can buy higher quality products for an extra price.

The taste is not bad but too expensive!! I'm not going to pay that much.

I used to order from Temaki Bar very regularly, but unfortunately it's not what it used to be. The quality of the products has clearly declined since they opened a second restaurant. In addition, this is the 3rd time in a row that they no longer follow the instructions specified when ordering. They lost good customers. Too bad for them and for the image of Kakinuma.

Never order delivery with them!!! Things are always missing and when we call them, they tell us there is nothing they can do. Customer service = 0. On the phone, a certain Émilie tells us “we can’t do anything, goodbye”. Evening cancel. Yet order of 148 chf placed for two people: delivery of half of the dishes.

A MUST-HAVE place in Geneva for lovers of makis and temakis. You will also find very good salads, takoyakis, karaagés... The quality and finesse of the products is quite remarkable, the team on site is really very friendly. To be tested ABSOLUTELY

The waitress at the restaurant was nice. Location is also nice. And they have many Japanese beers&sakes as well as some snacks like karaages, croquettes... But I felt that they are overpriced.

Most disappointing delivery experience so far in Geneva: it took them 2 (real) hours to deliver our order, the soups obviously arrived cold and spilled all over the boxes, the makis where all crushed in the box, and half of the order was missing or wrong! Even sushi shop is better than you guys, this is unacceptable for this level of price. Update: after our complain, the restaurant made this up with a free order, it was definitely a way better experience than the first order. I strongly recommend to go through the restaurant private driver delivery option vs Uber Eats.

The place is quite beautiful, it's a shame that the trays are prepared in advance. Except for the 2 temaki because they were finished. Honestly we prefer our Japanese restaurant at the foot of the Old Town, less glamorous, but better in our eyes and taste buds

The Sushi here is simply phenomenal. I have tried so many Sushi places around Europe and outside of Japan this so far is the best. Hands down. Big compliments to the Japanese family running this place. It indeed is quite pricey, but with this location and the amazing quality it’s acceptable.

Open from 11:30 a.m., the welcome and service are impeccable. The dishes are excellent, full of color, your delicacy will carry you away 😉. There is a small staircase to access it with an Escalator for people with reduced mobility 👍. I think there will be a small terrace, there is work in progress.

Finally! Japanese food lovers have been waiting for this place for a long time. Congratulations to Kakinuma family! Whatever you touch becomes a classy place. They have the best Japanese food and service in this city. Someone was complaining about prices. I wonder where have you guys eaten cheap Japanese food? I mean what you really call the food. How can you have a cheap tuna sashimi, where nett price can become up to 20.000 USD?! Whatsoever, I can firmly state that this family owns best sushi places and not only in Geneva, but they can easily compete with few places in the world. Absolutely stylish with modern decor. It shines with cleanliness. There is always a parking space in the courtyard. Dear Kakinuma family, thank you for your invaluable contribution to instilling good taste in the people of this city. Maybe thanks to you, some restaurateurs will understand what good service and real Japanese cuisine are. Although, I doubt it. You will still be out of competition.

Newly opened, a few steps to reach the bar. Presentation in trays classified into dishes, daily menu and cold/hot starters. Not really intuitive. The cash register is on the other side, opposite the drinks, soy sauce, ginger and wasabi extra. To take away, in the back a few tables. Very interesting decor. It's very good but quite expensive for a self-service restaurant. Gluten-free are well treated.
