Teppan-Yaki in Fribourg

We found the concept of the all-you-can-eat buffet great, it wasn't the first time we came! But this time we were disappointed! The quality of the buffet products has clearly decreased, the choice of dessert was really minimal and industrial! The cleanliness of the dishes and premises left something to be desired! But what left us with a bitter taste the most was the price for children! 16frs for a 3 year old child! What a shame, we really like this restaurant but I don't think I'll return there if improvements aren't made! The waiter was very pleasant and smiling, unlike his colleagues!

The quality has unfortunately dropped enormously while the prices have increased... The buffet was very limited and there was almost no sushi and the plates/cutlery were dirty. We had to sort to get clean ones. Too bad, I really liked it before.

I was recommended this restaurant and praised its merits. We have a table next to the carpet so that’s a good point. Unfortunately in terms of dishes, the starters were cold and not homemade, the main dishes were just lukewarm. In terms of desserts, disappointed that it was only canned fruit and 2 kinds of fried ravioli. Too bad, I hope it improves

The food is good but I would have liked more choice at the buffet. I went 3 times, 2 times the sushi “conveyor belt” did not work. It’s a shame, the concept is very cool!

Reserved a place next to the carpet, we never saw the color. Dirty cutlery. 3 sushi chasing each other on the carpet. Very limited choice of buffet. Exorbitant price of a la carte sushi. A foul smell of shit emanating from one of the main dishes of the buffet. Very bland dishes. Worst crispy beef of my life. Rivella diluted with sparkling water. Dirty paw placed on the edge of the sideboard. Few desserts. Verrines still frozen. Sushi dropped on the floor in front of the buffet and never picked up. Servers who understand almost nothing in French. 110.- thrown out the window.

Very disappointed with the restaurant. I loved going there but now it’s banned. Didn't eat much, waited a long time for the dish to cook. We asked for pasta, it took a ton to arrive, in short we didn't like it and still paid 55.- and 60.- for my husband.

DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS ONLINE! They did not take our reservation into account and even with proof of reservation they decided to put us far from the mat! To improve

Everything was good 😋 except the shrimp with the carcass 🍤 from the buffet were "soft" once peeled (frozen or overcooked, I don't know 🤷‍♂️) The lady was kind enough to put us next to the carpet (a + for the restaurant) even though I had not reserved for it. Again a good experience, I would come back

I am disappointed to see that the quality of the restaurant has declined significantly since my last visit six years ago. The dishes are no longer up to what they used to be, and the overall experience has deteriorated. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't think I will return. I sincerely hope that improvements can be made. There was a time when it was one of the best buffets in the canton.

So where to start first a non-existent buffet composed of dishes expected surely from last year and more in small quantities. The conveyor belt did not work, a plus for the restaurant but for the time being non-existent. Having stayed a little while in the “restaurant” due to complicated digestion given the dishes offered. I felt kicked out while being able to watch the accountant do these papers alongside me. A very bad experience for me and my man which cost us 110 francs (cheapest menu). As you can tell, I had a very bad experience.

Poor food, not fresh, unwelcoming environment. We took the buffet, but it was of poor quality and so we ate almost nothing. In the end we weren't even offered a discount and we paid full price, 175chf for three people which was EXCESSARY to say the least.

Very small restaurant, very little assorted buffet service only, not very fresh food and non-existent quality-price ratio. Very high prices, I do not recommend. Unlimited buffet menu plus drink 55 francs.

Very good, the waiters are helpful, the food is correct and good value for money. The only point to review could be the offer which is quite limited compared to other all-you-can-eat buffets. Overall very good.

Eating at your discretion. There is both Chinese and Japanese food. The sushi belt no longer works. The food on the buffet is probably a warmed-up compilation of the leftovers from the past few days. It used to be a really great address. Now it's hardly visited... No wonder.

If you're really hungry, this is tip top. Sit down and you can help yourself to the buffet. Food is great, there is something for everyone.

Miserable evening... Known for its conveyor belt next to the tables, it was empty... two sushis were chasing each other every 15 minutes and no hot dish was running. As for the buffet, it was not at all complete. The bins were empty and rarely or never filled. All this for a service at 7:30 p.m....a bit limited. While paying 55 francs for my 12 year old child... nonsense. I do not recommend this restaurant. Really very disappointed

We had the all-you-can-eat buffet which, unfortunately, is the only thing available on evenings. (We would have preferred to order from the menu since we were not that hungry.) The food was quiet OK. Not spectacular but fine. There is a choice of some Sushi, some warm Chinese dishes and a Wok where you can choose and assemble your own dish. Service is friendly, prices are reasonable.

Very disappointed when we arrived there we learned that our reservation was not taken into account because it was made online. Apparently on weekends online reservations do not follow and therefore you have to call but this is not stipulated anywhere.

The food was good. Sushi tasted very good. But the meat was very dry and the deserts were still frozen. So it was quite impossible to eat them. The thing which shocked me the most was the service. The two serves didn’t care much. They gave us a table (we were 6 people) which was only for 4. we asked if we could get another table so we would have enough space but they told us everything was booked (restaurant was almost empty and the tables next to us were always free). At the end we wanted a Tea and Ice Tea and they let us wait 20 minutes for that. Instead of serving and cleaning the plates from our table they were the whole time at the bar. It was the first and definetly the last time at this restaurant.

Very disappointed. We are regular customers and we have always gone there with our daughter, only 3 years old. And to our astonishment this time we were told that children pay 26.- for the all-you-can-eat menu. Our daughter, being still very small, eats almost nothing and we always shared a little of our plate. Even when explaining that this is the first time that we have been told that and that we have always been told that it was free given his young age, the waitresses insisted by saying that it was like that and that has always been the case. been like that... Really big disappointment we left without even having the meal.. Too bad!!

Sold as Japanese but it's mainly Chinese food (apart from sushi) Buffet not very good, nothing incredible, and very greasy. Desserts are single candies and Oreos… They refuse to serve a carafe of water so that we pay for the bottle of water. I do not recommend

We took the buffet formula with drinks. The goal of this restaurant is to go there when you are hungry, because there is a lot of choice and therefore lots of things to taste... the basics like crispy beef, curry shrimp, sautéed chicken with vegetables, etc... without forgetting the ravioli of all kinds and the sushi... and also the wok 🤤👌... in short, a great address I recommend... be careful, good to know, at lunchtime there is less choice than The evening !

I come back here with great pleasure! The welcome is always as friendly and the dishes as good as ever. Of course, we always have our eyes bigger than our stomachs because everything is so desirable. The price is reasonable, so your wallet loves it too! The area is complicated for parking the car, but there are a few reserved spaces right in front.

Great, various all-you-can-eat menus are available (with/without/all drinks), very good quality and a large selection of sushi and other Asian dishes. We always enjoy coming back ☺️

It was my first time dining in Friborg and it was so amazing! To satisfy the Chinese stomach, there are also delicious sushi, tempura and teppanyaki!

A very welcoming restaurant with responsive, extremely smiling servers. Very simple but complete service and menu. There is a classic buffet with wok as well as central mat with small plate which rotates all included in the menu. All the dishes offered are succulent and of good quality (fresh fish) I highly recommend this restaurant.

The visit to the restaurant begins with a very friendly greeting, you immediately feel welcome. You can eat on the conveyor belt, one with warm food and one with sushi and one with sweets (macarons, cakes, chocolate...) then you can choose from the buffet between many already cooked menus, sushi, soup, fried snacks, fruits and dessert/ice cream serve. You can also put together your own menu from many individual components and have it prepared. For 55.00 per person you have a buffet, conveyor belt and drinks (without alcohol) as much as you like. I think the price is very fair, if you consider that the sushi is freshly prepared and the food is also excellent, then the price is more than fair. My companion mentioned that it was my birthday, then I was given an extra dessert and a gift which was given very lovingly. At the end, before you leave, all guests are given a piece of chewing gum to freshen their breath. We are happy to take the journey of almost an hour to enjoy the delicious food.

Excellent food on the other hand the little waitress who picks up your cutlery when you haven't finished... I don't know if it's a Portuguese custom but in Switzerland and China no...

The all-you-can-eat buffet at 26chf with 3 drinks included will satisfy everyone. The staff is always ready to respond to your requests, even when it is busy. I've eaten at some bad places in my life.. I'm able to understand that sometimes we take shortcuts and that we can't always have extraordinary expectations.. but here... I just don't understand not how they have the right to serve food to anyone. It's worse than negligence and a lack of respect for customers who pay EXPENSIVE for dishes that are not only disgusting and which are very clearly prepared in bulk and served without much difficulty, but in addition. It's appalling to serve visibly fatty and greenish fish.. this place should undoubtedly receive a visit from health controls.. I worked in the restaurant business for 7 years, I have training in catering and I put you in touch be careful not to go to his places with all the seriousness in the world. If unfortunately you decide to venture there anyway, bring a magnesium chloride formula that can easily be found in pharmacies to treat your certain indigestion. Good luck and if someone is able to intervene to put them back in order, read these lines... intervene without delay before something bad happens to someone.

The only kaiten-zushi in Fribourg so far. The nice addition is asian style buffet. Relatively small place, think about booking a table well before. The only two problems are absence of free parking lots around and bland wasabi.

Very nice, all-you-can-eat buffet including sushi, steamed donut, breaded shrimp and other hot dishes with a large choice of sauce! And ice cream of course! Only the desserts are not great... A little too industrial! However, they don't track their reservations, we booked several times next to the roll, sometimes several days in advance. No problem on the phone then once at the restaurant they had not reserved the place we were not able to go to the promised place.

Ce restaurent à un bon rapport qualité prix "pour la Suisse" le midi avec le buffet à volonté + trois boissons. Le cadres demandent des travaux. Le buffet est pratique quand on voyage avec des ados. Mais les plats sont moyens. Les sushis basiques. Mais on se remplit bien le ventre et c'est un peu ce que l'on demande.

Nous avons pris le buffet à volonté à Fr. 26.00 avec 3 boissons sans alcool incluses. Top. Nous aurions juste aimé que les mets du buffet soient un peu plus chaud.

L’offre pour midi était très bien et à bas prix, on peut manger à volonté et nous avons 3 boissons non alcoolisées. Cette offre est géniale et à bon pris pour tout ce que l’on peut manger, étant étudiante tel qu’avec mes amies qui m’ont accompagné, nous avons beaucoup aimé! La nourriture est très bonne et le restaurant propose un bon nombre divers de sushis!

Nous étions des habitués de ce restaurant jusqu'au changement de propriétaire. Cette fois c'est une grande déception lorsque nos assiettes sont arrivées. Les produits baignaient dans l'huile un goût insipide. Lorsque nous avons fait la remarque concernant la quantité d'huile utilisée on nous a répondu que c'était culturel. Dommage on va passer notre chemin

Les commentaires à propos de ce restaurant m’ont fait un peu peur mais finalement j’y suis allée car la formule à volonté a 26.- m’intéressait et j’ai été enchantée. Les plats étaient variés, les sushis étaient délicieux, les serveuses étaient très aimables et parlaient français et allemand (certains commentaires soutenaient que le personnel ne parlait pas les langues du canton). Je le conseille vraiment

Accueil chaleureux et buffet bien garni, la nourriture est très bonne, la seule fausse note à mon avis, est une bouteille de ketchup sur le buffet, ce qui gâche un peu la perception d'un restaurant asiatique...

J'ai bien le concept du tapis puis après tu peux manger des plat deja préparer ou faire des propre plat est te les faire par le cuisiner. Que quoi un peu cher mais payer 35fr pour manger a volonté entrer,plat et dessert. C'est quand même bon

Le local n’est pas très accueillant et donne une impression qu’il n’a pas été très bien entretenu. Le mobilier est vieux. Le papier se détache des murs. Les vitres du tapis roulant a sushis étaient cassés par endroits. A ma gauche sur le mur où j’étais assis j’ai vu une prise électrique détachée du mur et des câbles 230v a l’air libre ce qui n’a pas fait bonne impression. En général la propreté n’est pas fameuse. Les sauces et le Wasabi qui trainent sur le buffet a l’air libre, des taches de sauce partout et des salades qui semblent être la depuis longtemps. Bref je ne suis pas fan! Le seul point positif que je pourrais citer c’est que la nourriture était pas mauvaise et que pour l’offre a volonté du samedi c’est un prix qui me paraît, en temps qu’étudiant, raisonnable. Dans les asiatiques a Fribourg il y a mieux.

Le cadre n'a rien d'exceptionnel, les places de parc sont très très limitées et le personnel quasi inexistant. Ce n'est vraiment pas de la grande cuisine mais cela peut amuser vos enfants d'aller se servir sur un tapis roulant. Pour nous cela a plutôt été décevant

Le midi il y a une formule tout compris à volonté avec boisson qui merite le deplacement , seul le parking esr difficile

Prix trop cher d’après la qualité des produits. (45fr par personne sans boissons). Il y a pas énormément de choix mais certains mets sont bien préparés. Gros point négatif, mon 5dl d’eau plate du robinet a été facturé 5,70fr, autant que le 5dl coca de mon ami. Ils se foutent un peu de votre poire.
