Scandalous. At first glance, the place was nice (the decor) and the dishes offered were rather attractive, especially for a tourist attraction "restaurant". Frankly, absolutely avoid it. A word of advice: opt for a picnic in the room provided for this purpose at Aquatis. Fortunately the visit to Aquatis went well, because the restaurant left us with a more than BITTER taste. Let me explain: not only are the prices abusive (but we had seen them before settling in and we must admit that in this type of attraction it is always too expensive; moreover, the attraction in question being in Switzerland, it wasn't necessarily surprising, so we still let ourselves be tempted by the "practical" side, but above all, the dishes were BAD, whether it was the pizza (less "good" like a defrosted pizza), overcooked pasta, or plastered chocolate “mousse”. We are screwed from start to finish, even the price of the children's menu (if we can speak of a "menu") is surreal: 19chf for a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce + 1 scoop of ice cream (WITHOUT even a drink) . We add to this of course the price of the carafe of water. (The "restaurant" for a couple with a child cost us much more than entry to Aquatis, all that for a children's menu, a salad meal, a pizza, a coke, a chocolate mousse and 2 coffees). A word of advice: go your own way, choose the “picnic” option instead!

Children's syrup charged at 3.50 CHF ("Ah, well those are the prices in Switzerland" the waiter replied...), poor service, manager "a bit" lost (doesn't know his card or his table numbers, give lunar instructions to your team, etc.), cleanliness to review... Hard hard... After being knocked out by the price of the Aquarium, we end up on the same note with the restaurant ... Too bad, because the potential is there... But if you take customers for pigeons to be plucked, you end up no longer having customers... Advice to other visitors: take the M2 and sit in a restaurant in the City...

Very nice place, really practical when leaving the aquarium but unfortunately, kitchen underneath everything. Everything is reheated in the microwave and therefore dry and hard (my 4 year old daughter did not manage to eat any of her mini burgers, my lamb ordered rare arrived white and hard). Even the coffee was cold! It’s really a shame that this beautiful place cannot ensure minimum quality…

I usually never leave negative reviews on a place knowing that it will stick. But this time it was too much. Initially a friendly welcome, then the menu... we take two mini Burgers for the children, no vegetables for them. So we also have a simple salad on top. We took 2 veloutés of the moment at 17.- and 2 ravioli of the moment 22.-. When we said it, we didn't expect to have what we were served. Worthy of a military canteen (food taken from the box to the plate) and at very intolerable prices. No paper at all in the toilets and loud voices in the kitchens. At the time of the addition, a price error on the veloutés, counted at 22.- each. Supposedly they didn't correct the paper menus. The staff was reluctant to give us back the difference. Theft all the way. I'm sorry for this comment which doesn't sound like me but this time it's too much. Being taken for pigeons is completely beyond me. We won't be going there again... be sure.

Long wait to be greeted, even though there are no people, wait for the menu, then wait for the order. We can understand when there are people, but there were practically no people there. But actually only two people at the service while we are in school vacation period. When I ordered half a liter of sparkling water, 3 scoops of ice cream, and a coffee with a glass of water, I was refused the glass of water and offered a carafe of water for 2frs. The service is then quite quick, but no half liter of sparkling water, I am served a liter at the price of a half (thanks for the gesture). The ice cream scoops are good but very small. The management is not optimal and the refusal of a glass of water is, in my opinion, unacceptable since other paid drinks are ordered. In short, we came for a snack after aquatis, we will not come back for a meal.

The concept of sharing a dish could be very nice if it did not impose constraints on customers. The portions of the dishes are too small. For dessert it's quite the opposite but ending up with half a tart because you're the only one who wants this dessert is still a bit much. The tiramisu is not good, the biscuit is not soaked, it looks like it was made quickly. You have to pay for a carafe of water despite the consumption of other drinks. Fortunately one of the servers was very attentive and very pleasant, not even understanding the absurdity of his sharing of dishes. In summary, go with someone who has the same tastes as you and in pairs otherwise you won't be able to eat.

The place is very well decorated and the toilets are clean. They are equipped to welcome children (high chair, changing table, children's menu) although it is not necessarily very suitable for very young children. The service is good, the dish was good although small in quantity, the dessert and coffee are not incredible. In terms of meals, we are a little disappointed. The majority of dishes are to be shared and cannot be taken individually. We must therefore succeed in reaching an agreement. Once done, the veal blanquette dish for two leaves us hungry. The portion of rice is correct but that of meat and carrots is a little light for the price (32 CHF / person) and for our stomachs. In addition, the menu on their site is not the same as in the restaurant. To try to satisfy ourselves, we fell back on desserts. Unfortunately, out of four adults around the table, only three wanted dessert. Having different tastes and being an odd number, we face the same problem as before. Finally, the carafe of water costs 2 CHF which is not indicated on their drinks menu. Based on our experience, the server was very understandable. A commercial gesture was made and we left having eaten properly. Thank you to the staff who do an excellent job. Unfortunately, I do not recommend the establishment. Next time, I will opt for the picnic with the pirate ship theme.

We visited AQUATIS today with my partner and my daughter. In the middle of the visit, I tell myself that I will reserve the restaurant. And there, I see 2.5 on one site and 3.5 on the other. Not very engaging... I'm going to read the comments, not more engaging, but it's raining, we have 2 hours before the next visit,... let's go. As soon as we enter, we are received and seated by a very friendly waiter. We read the menu and within 10 minutes max, another waiter comes to take our order. We order a dish of linguini with truffle, parmesan and arugula. Within 15 minutes we were served, drinks included. The dish is magnificent and the staff charming. I admit I was a little scared when I saw how little pasta there was for 3. Half a portion more would have been welcome but we didn’t leave hungry! When it was time to pay, upon leaving the restaurant, we had a very friendly exchange with the person responsible for cashing. He asked us if our wait time had been okay and asked us if we had eaten well. You should not expect a gourmet restaurant and the atmosphere - although the restaurant is tastefully decorated and the waiters dressed with class - is more "IKEA" there are many young children and it is a little noisy (normal when you come out of an aquarium visit). The food is very good and the service perfect.

Top-notch decoration, welcome and service as well. We ate here as a family following a visit to the aquarium, with two young children. We had pizza and it was very good! A big plus for hygiene (in the dining room but also in the toilets!) and the friendliness of the servers 👍🏼

Visit the aquarium in the morning, followed by the restaurant. I had the good idea to reserve the table which allowed us to avoid the long queue. There were a lot of people there that day (rainy Sunday, school holidays) and the staff were a little overwhelmed. They were nevertheless very friendly. The dishes are good and plentiful (excellent burger) and for children there is the possibility of ordering any dish on the menu in half portion which is a change from the eternal pasta with tomato sauce and nuggets and is therefore very appreciated. If you plan to visit the aquarium in the morning and eat at the restaurant afterwards, I highly suggest reserving a table.

Despite numerous negative reviews, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We learned from our own experience that we needed to look for another place for lunch. It is surprising that in such a tourist place there is a menu only in French, and all the staff also speak exclusively French. Our languages ​​for communication are German and English, so we were not able to order food based on our taste preferences. The choice of dishes is very small - from what we had, we had to settle for pizza (for me this dish is not suitable as lunch). Unpleasant staff, especially the girl manager, who, upon learning that we didn’t like the food, just shrugged her shoulders. The child who ordered the children's menu did not receive ice cream. They said that water had been taken out of the order to account for the ice cream. I think they should have asked us if we wanted this done. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a beautiful terrace. It's a pity. I think the owner of the restaurant needs to think about changing the entire staff, think over the menu (especially the lunch menu) and certainly translate it into at least English.

We were there last Thursday at half past two and there was a sign saying the restaurant was full. But there were empty tables everywhere, a lot of service staff who didn't seem stressed, standing around and talking. So we wanted to at least ask. The staff pointedly ignored us at the entrance, repeatedly and in a snooty manner. Since the kitchen was still open for another hour, we sat down as children and assumed that we could at least provoke a reaction and that we would at least be told that we should leave if eating was no longer possible were. People who came after us were left standing at the entrance for a long time and then called for service a little more aggressively. After we were deliberately ignored for another 15 minutes, we spoke to someone offensively. The dirty table was then cleaned and the order was taken. A family at the other table left the restaurant after being ignored for a long time after they were seated and laid out the cutlery and were unable to order. As already mentioned, the staff was not at all stressed and standing around. I asked for a portion of fries for my child. After a moment, a different waiter than before came and asked if we had ordered fries, to which we replied in the affirmative. There were different staff at the table, no order, no structure. The food was soggy and the fries weren't brought. In the end, of course, they were on the bill. We didn't leave a tip, worst restaurant visit I've ever had. Expensive restaurant, unfortunately no alternative in Aquatis, worst service I've ever experienced! :-( doesn't deserve one star

We went to the Garden Restaurant today, it is beautifully decorated. However, we had to wait a long time until we got a table. Then we were seated and had to wait another long time for the menu, and we weren't asked what we would like to drink. The service staff was very unfriendly and simply ignored us. It also took a long time before we could order the food. They preferred to clear the tables rather than serve us. And there wasn't much going on anymore, you could really tell that they wanted to close at 2:30 p.m. and they didn't care about the guests. We won't be visiting this restaurant again anytime soon.

Our glasses of wine ordered at the start of the meal arrived at the end. However, when we reported the problems, they changed the dishes for us, which is a good point. Basically, we came to spend time in the park, not in the restaurant... I don't really understand the point of having this type of restaurant in a park like Aquatis... Opening hours 11:30 a.m. but new poster for 12:00 p.m. so 30 minutes of waiting... After opening an interminable wait begins because the waiters take people by people to bring them to their table and take their order, during this time of course everyone is waiting outside in front of the restaurant entrance...unheard of. You can tell that this self-service restaurant has no competition. We went for something to eat at 2pm (the restaurant is open until 2:30pm). The lasagne and pizza were completely dried out and cold in the display. Forks had to be ordered separately because there were no more available. The only "fresh" thing were the fries and the burger. The tablecloths were dirty and the trolley for the used tablets was full of dishes.
