Friendly staff...Great location in the convention center...Absolutely recommend

greeted very friendly, so you knew that a guest was there, then let me sit in the restaurant for 10 minutes, (mind you, there were two employees at the bar chatting with each other) then I asked if it was self-service and they let me know that you are quote: Short of Staff and the bar is therefore closed! without words! (no information on the homepage yet on site) It's a shame, I had arranged with four people, but then found friendly replacements not far from the bar. Oh yes, the lounge was beautifully presented outside, but obviously only to look at because there are no staff, just two people who had a great chat with each other.

Sitting outside for 15 minutes and still couldn't order and that with a coffee at 5.50. Pity

I am a regular guest in The Lobby, there is a good selection of newspapers, friendly service and you can drink a coffee there in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and escape the stress of everyday life for a few minutes. USB/power connections are also available and a projector for free use there is also

Good day, we wanted to have a meeting in the Hotel Lobby today. the personnel did not even ask if we want something to drink or to order. I sit there for 45min, without even being noticed. on Top the employees at the counter / Reception started to fight amongst each other out of a work topic loudly. The other guests in the lobby felt disturbed as well. A NO-GO for Swiss Hotel and Switzerland claiming to be a training country for hotel employees (Hotelfachschule). Hopefully we made a wake up call to the Hotel management with this review to give strict rules to their service personnel. Never again. Adrian Gallati | CEO

What a lovely surprise in the middle of the city. Very friendly staff, nice chill atmosphere and delicious croissants. Good choice of coffee and salty/ sweet breakfast. Open also on holidays when everything else is closed in Zurich. I had almond cappuccino with chocolate croissant and an egg.

Not to be judged because an official partnership (Best of Swiss Gastro) was rejected despite a current website with a renowned organization and a conversation with the marketing manager. We gratefully declined the offer of a drink! Thumbs down!

I find it extremely lame and charging 30 Stutz for non-resident guests for such a run-of-the-mill breakfast is absolutely overpriced and wrong. Almost no space when you get to 4th. There is only one table for this, otherwise you have to eat breakfast alone or with two people. A brunch that ends at 11 a.m. and starts at 7 a.m. is called breakfast - NOT lunch!

They brag about having "the best coffee in Zürich". Nope, not even close. The espresso had a burnt taste, capuccino average. For coffee, there are much better alternatives in the area. Haven't tried the food.

Excellent service at the bar. Very useful also for business meetings outside of rush hours. Sockets for your laptop & mobile phone everywhere. At one table you can even project your phone or laptop screen to the table and share it with others. Free WiFi and central location right behind the Opera.

The selection is quite small and the bread they served must have been a week old. Service was good though.
