We celebrates the 25th birthday of a friend of mine. The Staff were very attentive. First we ordered drinks. Later that Evening the staff offered a table to the window. Amazing view. Towards 11pm the bar changed into a dance floor. It was the perfect amount of people. not too crowded, not too empty. We danced with other guests and the whole vibe was relaxed. Only the DJ's music wasn't my taste, but it was not my birthday, so.... Furim made sure we danced in a save environment. Ahmed the security guy was professional yet relatable. We will keep The Penthouse in best memory.

Going there was a good experience, good drinks at expensive prices but it is justified by the view and the many rooms. The location is definitely Instagrammable. When it comes to food, I would like to see more European alternatives. Snacks like nuts or something like that with the drink wouldn't be bad either, but certainly recommended.

The food at the restaurant and service do not justify the trip; the waiters are not friendly. Barmens on the other hand are super and so are the cocktails but for that you font have to go out of your way from the city.

Hands down the best bar and club in Zurich! There are great clubs in Zurich but this is the best. They found a great way to fuse and it is great. The crowd is not homogeneous but everyone is having their fun and no one will feel out of place. This is really one place where everyone is someone.

Super fine food, expensive but awesome. Since there was still live music playing that evening, it was just too loud in the back corner. You could "only" eat and drink, it was far too loud for a conversation.

Place top! Mature ppl - top! Only thing; it felt likr the bartenders put in sometimes randomly different amounts for either shots or drinks.. did not make sense some stuff they charged. Ordered the same drinks for example one time but way different price… and it was the the same bar of the event (not the hotel bar). Same for shots..

We went to the restaurant for dinner on a Friday. The service was very friendly and accommodating when we wanted to change tables. The only thing I found a bit unfortunate was that the staff didn't speak German/Swiss German and we had to adapt. However, the menus were available in German and English. Our food was super good. Our orders also came very quickly and, above all, fresh. However, I was a bit surprised by the selection when it came to eating, as I expected more, especially when it came to sushi. The lighting conditions were a little too dark for my taste, but everyone has to decide for themselves! What bothered me more was that the music was too loud and that made it harder for us to have a conversation. All in all a great restaurant.

Looks like the restaurant is short on cash, saving money everywhere. Should be in the Guness Book of Records for the smallest sushi in the world. The smallest Negiri salmon I have seen in my life. About the size of a peanut. The Wagyu maki and the other rolls are also extra mini. unpleasant. If you need donations, please let us know and we will find a solution, but please don't do this to any customers again. 2 stars only because the staff was nice, no one speaks German but nice people.

New Years Eve in the Penthouse: The food was excellent. We were able to choose from two menus, whether with meat or vegetarian (we took the meat version). The atmosphere was indescribable and we had a lot of fun! There were dancers & a DJ. The view was very nice. Highly recommended!

Went to a Party there last night. The club itself is nice. Interior and the whole set up is beautiful. But if i get charged 40.- bucks to get into a regular party (meaning no concert, live musical performances etc) just DJ's, i would actually expect the service to be top notch. Unfortunately i was very dissapointed by the bar service inside the club/party room. Me along with plenty of others waited way too long to get drinks. I've spent a good 20 min. waiting to get served. That's a no go for me. I voiced my opinion and complained right away and was told that they could simply not handle the situation cause they were understaffed. That's not acceptable, not in a place like that and also not for the amount of money i've spent.

Good food, great ambience and good service! We visited when there was an offer of 85 Fr with 3 courses and 3 drinks on Wednesday evening, along with live music! Prestige hotel and restaurant. Highly recommended.

Wow, wasn't that just an amazing night! Enjoying good company, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, all while grooving to a live DJ and violinist! It was just fabulous, I also have to point out how i am amazed by the service, how the entire team treated us. Just WOW. I really appreciate your help in making such wonderful memories. You are expensive but the service is very nice and the view is also not in New York but in Zurich

Perfect dinner, I was able to taste several Japanese specialties that I really appreciated, both for the quality and freshness of the food and for the elegant presentation. The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly intimate and refined, the service is excellent, nothing is left to chance, and all the dining room staff are very courteous. As soon as I have the chance again I'm sure I will gladly go there. Congratulations to all the staff.

Stunning venue and amazing food! I actually came twice during my stay at FIVE Zurich. I had dinner one evening which was fabulous. The food was so tasty! The menu has a lot to offer and was full of flavours! The staff very friendly, attentive and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and vibe! I went a second time for nibbles and drinks where we sat outside and the views were amazing! Definitely should try if you’re in town or staying at the hotel!

You can tell that a lot of investment has gone in the rooftop lounge, however the service friendliness and music can still be improved. Also people where asked to leave the terrace after a while and had to squeeze in a small space relevantly to the number of people.

Service staff hardly speaks German. It is cold and rather uncomfortable in the restaurant. What was bad, however, was the toilet: there was actually a wonderful view over Zurich directly from the women's toilet, but the windows don't seem to have frosted glass on the outside, because I was waved at by the smoking staff on the terrace during the break. An absolute no-go!!! That's not possible and violates everyone's privacy.

The hotel is very nice, however the rooms are small for the price. The meals in all the restaurants were very good and the hotel staff was very attentive and friendly.

A must do absolutely, the setting is superb and the dishes reflect the setting, music guaranteed, and we finish at the bar quietly afterwards…. The evening is perfect...

The service is really bad. When I wanted to order something to drink at the bar, the bartender hardly noticed me. When she saw me waving at her with a smile, she looked at me really arrogantly and acted as if she had something else to do and was then went over to her colleagues to chat. So when me and my friends weren't served, we left. Would not recommend.

We have reserved a table at The Penthouse this Saturday. At the reception a lady turned us away and explained that the reserved table was still occupied. She didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. After we pointed out several times that we had reserved, she gave us a table in an adjoining room. We insisted that you should inform us as soon as the reserved table became available. This is because the main hall offered a better ambience including music. After about 40 minutes we were escorted into the main room. The food was the highlight of this evening. There is nothing wrong with that. Very tasty and beautifully prepared. The location is also impressive. After dinner we went to the bar. Although there were 5 bartenders there and some of them weren't busy, we had to wait 10 minutes until someone came up to us to take our order. Two bartenders ducked behind the counter, taking shots. Simply unacceptable and unprofessional in a 5 star hotel! The whole evening gave me a strange feeling. It's a typical wanna be Insta hotspot. The view and the facilities are great, the feeling is flop. We actually wanted to go to the club at 1:30 a.m., but it was still half empty at that time. By the way, the music was great! Nevertheless, shortly after 2:00 a.m. we preferred to go into town to celebrate. Unfortunately, that was my last visit to The Penthouse.

Whilst the food and location are really good the service is at the same level which you would expect in a fast food chain at 2am in the morning. We had a table for 11 for a birthday party and was informed by the staff that we could not eat all at once if we did not order food to share (basically only sushi) as the restaurant was full. If the restaurant cannot operate when it’s fully booked maybe do not fully book it. It happened as promised that the ones who order sushi ate ca. 30 minutes before the rest. At a restaurant with that price point (claim to be premium) you would expect to be able to eat together as a group. Furthermore I received my sides which I order together with my main 15 minutes before my main. As I asked one of the waiters if they could bring me new sides together with my main as I don’t want to eat cold fries and take the current ones back to the kitchen I was ignored. The second waiter was then kind enough to take it back to the kitchen just to bring the old cold sides together with my main. At a location which claims to be and is priced premium you can expect annoyed waiters with what it seems a badly planned operations which cannot operate if the seats they offer are all taken. Unfortunately ruined the mood for the birthday party and cannot recommend this place. If all the above is not issue for you can recommend the salmon with sweet potato fries

We always love this place. Nice ambience for dining + party. Something that u come with ur friends, partners or colleagues or anniversary, its new atmosphere in Switzerland . Nice food and with nice music on Friday and Saturday. Lovely hospitality with all staffs. We r regular there. Even its nice place just to have drink on the bar.

location: great food: good service: acceptable price: acceptable The location is beautiful, very modern and clean. We booked a table for two for 8pm. They offer some shared plates and a couple of main courses to pick from. The food was delicious but a bit overpriced. The drinks were good. The waiting times were definitely too long. We expected the shared plates to arrive at the same time but they left us with a portion of edamame for about 45 minutes. Service could definitely be more attentive. I wanted to order dessert but the waitress never came by to actually take my order or ask if we wanted coffee until after we had already paid (there seems to be some miscommunication between the staff). When we paid no one asked if we were satisfied with the food/service. They also took the bill away immediately which was a bit weird as we hadn’t even had time to check it. Here’s what we ordered and what we paid in total: - edamame - spicy sweet potatoes - yakitori chicken and leek - beef sukiyaki sliders - 1 glasses of red wine (I can’t remember which) - 1 spritz drink - 1 bottle of still water total came to 147.- Be aware that the bar has a club vibe and talking to people at your table is basically impossible after 9.30 as they turn up the music. You can and should definitely dress up otherwise you’ll be way underdressed. Most women wore dresses and heels.

It was a great experience. Excellent quality of food! Very good dishes with top inspiration! On journey (when there is the sun) very good view. Absolutely not recommended. Way too overpriced. Bad service. The staff doesn't speak German either. The bill for 6 people was almost 1,000 francs and no one was full. The first and last time for us. The whole group was very disappointed. Mood was also bad. It was either continue consuming or leave…. We know hospitality differently.

Best dinner experience I had in Zurich so far. Food was excellent. Music was amazing and the whole vibes was so special. Points of improvement: 1. Hire more staff as they were running around over stressed and clearly understaffed. 2. This is why we waited to so long for food and drinks and even to just get the menu. Regardless, our server was very friendly and apologetic for the whole situation. I really appreciate that. We will be back!

I would prefer to give minus stars if there were. A disappointment from arrival to departure. Like everything else, it's wrong. It seems that the service has become the customer and the customer has to swallow whatever it is and pay very dearly for it. First of all, I'm waiting in a 5-star hotel for someone to speak to me in the country's native language. Don't expect German to be perfect. It's fine that it's a restaurant with a club atmosphere, but at least you had to be able to talk to each other at a small table. It was a dinner that we could barely speak to each other. I had to scream all evening with my friend next door or opposite... The price and the quality of the service and food were not right at all. The food didn't come at the same time (there were 6 of us) and the desired cooking point was further away and the rosé wine was much too warm. To avoid wasting food, I didn't send it back. The dessert menu was put out, but no one asked if we wanted dessert, even though almost everyone wanted to order dessert. I'm a tea drinker so I asked for a teapot and was turned away with a thousand excuses. The ratio of the amount of water to the portion of tea did not match, far too little water. Is it possible that there is no teapot in a 5 star hotel restaurant? I was told that it is an international concept. Believe me, I travel a lot around the world and am a foodie. With Dubai care and food quality are FAR, FAR, away from that. Summary: Never again

Service staff hardly speak German. Neither starters nor main courses were served to all guests at the same time. Eating in stages wasn't fun. Veal starter was cold. Price-performance ratio wasn't quite right for me. Food was good. Nice location, music too loud.

A really nice place! A place I would undoubtedly return to. The prices are expensive. A cocktail 23 Francs 😱 if you decide to have fun without regrets, definitely attend a weekend.

When confirming the reservation, we were asked to upload a picture so that they could greet us without asking. Unfortunately it went wrong. They couldn't even find our name. And they couldn't find the name of our companion, who made a separate reservation. -The decoration is a matter of taste. They appeal more to a younger audience. -The table was dirty. - It was also served in crumbled dishes. -The Greek serving daughter Maria was very friendly and competent, but only speaks English. -The food was decorated very nicely, but the taste was mediocre. California Roll contains fish. After the complaint, the roll came with crabs but without Tobikko. -The chef apparently has little knowledge of food. We were also allowed to state in advance that we eat gluten-free. The food was served partly gluten-free and partly with gluten. -When we asked about the origin of the chicken, we got the answer: 'local'. Don't you know that in Switzerland the restaurateur has to declare the origin of the meat served? -At least our companion got a portion of salmon because she doesn't eat chicken. A 5* restaurant needs a 5* chef, not just a chef who has been curated by a 5* chef, because then he doesn't know how to change the menu if, for example, someone can't or doesn't want to eat a sauce that contains gluten .

Very nice location. Beautiful view. The DJ plays great music, even during lunchtime when we were there. Ambience and furnishings very modern and attractive. The hall towards the bathroom and the hanging lamp in the hallway are an eye-catcher. Only one point deducted because the food wasn't great. We had a menu and the meat and seafood were a bit tough. But it's definitely worth going there.

Expired Coke Zero served twice in a row. The third one was ok. Instead of not charging for the Coke out of goodwill/apology for the mishap, there were even two of them. impudence.

We've been there a few times now and have paid a lot each time and the food is average. On New Year's Eve we also booked a meal and then a lounge in the penthouse. There were 7 of us and the whole evening cost us a total of around CHF 9,000. Without an overnight stay or overpriced champagne, of course. The food wasn't particularly good, it all tasted pretty much the same and had that slightly sweet sauce that we had with almost every dish the first time we ate it. We also almost starved to death on New Year's Eve because it took an eternity for the food to arrive and for 7 people there were simply three plates per course placed on the table with small appetizers on them. That's it. When we asked if we could have a little more, the staff only gave us a tired smile. As nice as the location would be, we saw it. Everything is just very overpriced and poor service.

The furnishings are exceptional, very interesting and modern. It's worth going just for the atmosphere. The drinks are also good and the prices are normal for Zurich, but you also get the great location. The food is also very tasty, a bit too expensive, but the location makes up for that. The bathroom is almost the highlight. Really modern, geometric acceptance and great color combinations. Unfortunately, the service was a little intrusive when it came to refilling the water; they came when the glass was still half full and didn't refill both glasses at the same time. Unfortunately, not a single person spoke German or Swiss German that evening.

Fancy place but the service is not good. Waitresses were quite rude and not friendly, we had to remind 3-4 times to bring the drinks, we were told we need to eat and go in 2 hrs and that it was written in the confirmation email (when it was not true). Unfortunately I have to give a bad review because the entire experience was killed by the bad service. Sad.

Right upon arrival it was completely clear to me that this place is made to be some sort of instagram Hotspot. Every angle of this place allows the guests to take fantastic pictures. Unfortunately this attribute also attracts a particular crowd... Service was rather unmotivated and rude. A friend of mine, who was having issues with the tablet given to us to have a look at the menu, asked one of the waitresses for help. Instead of listening to her issue my friend was told immediately that the waitress couldn't help her. About half an hour into enjoying our drinks we were told that we should order food as they needed the table back within 2h of our arrival. Aparently we should have been informed about this when making our reservation. There was nothing written about this "rule" in the confirmation email. On top of this I had to remind different waitors 4 times that I had ordered a drink. The staff also clearly showed us that they weren't excited about taking a picture of our little group. Once we had finally received our food I was rather surprised with how good it was. The prices are steep but worth it if you enjoy this sort of surrounding. The people who visit this place aren't particularly well-mannered. For this reason the security personnel are very adamant about keeping visitors away from hotel guest areas. This made it difficult for us to really have a look at this place the way we would have liked to.

Location is something completely different and offers various highlights under one roof that are not yet available in Zurich. The food in The Penthouse is in the higher price segment, but the quality leaves nothing to be desired. Service staff very friendly and accommodating. Only the wine list is a bit "overpriced" compared to certain wines, which are more proportional to the purchase price in other top restaurants. And there are slightly too few parking spaces available within a short walking distance. Overall conclusion – worth a visit.

Flavourful Japanese food, great service, tasty cocktails with a beautiful interior. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good food and a good time you’ll find nothing short of that here.

I congratulate the whole hotel and restaurant team for this great achievement. Open for 10 days and already well booked and challenged. I know these demanding phases of an opening from my own experience. You are doing well. Regarding food: The "Miso-Marinated Clacier 51 Tootfish", which is available in the Penthouse, was excellent. We are looking forward to enjoying it again :-)

Location 10/10 with an amazing interior design and everything looks really beautiful. However 1 star from my side as our table got overbooked and we had no place to eat. (12 people of which 3 wanted to celebrate there bachelor degrees). We waited over 40min at the bar as we were being told that the manager will come who never showed up. My friend got stuck in the elevator for around 30min and we were advised to eat somewhere else and come back for the party later… They asked me to leave my name and number there and told me they would contacted me asap to see what they could do for the clubbing later. Never heared from them again… I still advise you to go check it out and make your own experience for me however they just showed that they do not care as they left 12 people standing at the reception waiting to get dinner….

Nice view with a horrible service, super slow, cocktails are tasteless, waiters are super amateur. Definitely not the service you would expect on this price level.
