The Scotsman is the place to go!!! Great food, great beer, great company!

Great an cosy place for a few beers and a good laugh. Friendly staff.

Decent pub-like place. Good service, reasonable beers. I'd say it's the most authentic pub in Winterthur, although when we went the whole placed was 'reserved' including space all along the bar .. which no real pub ever does.

A real pub that smells of the Celtic atmosphere of countries across the Channel.

Very friendly staff with service at the table! The pub is beautifully decorated and you almost feel like you are in Scotland. Good beer selection, even Smithwicks is available. The pies are delicious and the chips and fries are awesome! Live music every now and then. A really great oasis to switch off.

Some places we should be able to give more than 5 stars :) like for this pub. A place to go and relax while having some delicious beer and pie. Highly recommended.

A very charming pub with excellent finger food (onion rings and cheesy fries are highly recommended) as well as very friendly and funny service staff. I always enjoy going to the Scotsman.

Unfortunately, this is the first time I've seen that there are reserved seats in a pub. For me, the concept of being welcome in a pub means giving everyone a place and welcoming them. Even if you have to slide together a little more. Very unfortunate...

There's a fantastic atmosphere in this cosy bar thatks to the friendly staff and punters. Great pub grub!! As a pie giuy I have to admit these guys nail it. Also if you are a fan of real Fish and Chips the taste here is as you might be used to in UK /NZ / AUS ...As a kiwi I've eaten Fush and Chups in most pubs in Zürich and challange anyone to tell me a spot that betters the dish served here by Boaby and crew.

One of my favorit Baar in Winterthur. Very tradicional and friendly. Strongly recommend it.

We ordered food 2 pies and 1 kids menu for 56 francs… The pies were 16Fr each. and it's not even the size of your hand... Sorry, so I don't agree with the price, it's a real rip-off. But the food was very tasty and I've never had a delivery service that burned my palate so hot (it's also great)… Please think about the prices again... you're still just as hungry as before... last time I was with you...

Cosy wee pub in Winterthur - I traveled up from Zürich to watch the rugby and hear some accents from the homeland. Was pleasantly surprised to see a haggis pie on the menu … next step must be getting some Tennent’s surely 😉 Decent whisky range and some Scottish gin & rum behind the bar also.

Had a wonderful evening (February 4th) with great music, great people, good conversations, it was great and it gave me an impulse to start speaking English because if you can order your beer in English, it's different than in German. Prices are still the same, by the way affordable (drinks) and what else you need to know is that it is relatively small so it fills up relatively quickly, especially at concerts.

This pub is just great! It is no very big, but this makes it very familiar. I love this place, because as soon as you enter, you have the feeling beeing not in this town anymore. It feels like you are in a pub in scotland, maybe because everybody is speaking english in there. Delicious beers and ciders. I absolutely recommend this fantastic pub.

Very nice pub with kind staff. It's clean and taken care of, unlike many of the option in Zürich. Food options are limited (only a selection of pies), but what they have is quite good.

Cool Pub. Generous portions with the fries. The pie was a bit small, but good in taste.

The service is friendly and the food is good as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, the only non-alcoholic beers available are Feldschlösschen and Brewdog. And Brewdog non-alcoholic tastes like watery dishwater. E.g. Guinness non-alcoholic would be a real enrichment even if it doesn't come from Scotland

Lively pub with a wide selection of beers, Whisky, Gin, and food. Staff are friendly and helpful. A new menu, haggis pie, is a must to go well with your beers!

I went to The Scotsman with a group to play in the Sunday night pub quiz. The quiz had great questions and it was great fun. The atmosphere is very cosy and the staff makes you feel right at home. It really felt as if we were on British/Irish isles for a night out. The food (fish and chips) was superb. They have an extensive drinks menu, including different ciders. We'll be returning here for sure!
