Theater 11 in Zürich

Nice place for theater/musicals, etc. Comfortable seating

It is a very interesting building the Theater 11 in Zurich. Parking directly opposite [which is super convenient] 7CHf for 4 hours. Parking is a bit expensive but it was ok. The theater is beautiful. Was there with Robin Hood.

Seats so 'narrow' that your knee greets the knee of the person sitting next to you. During the break, snacking is a matter of luck; the time spent queuing is almost as long as the break. Otherwise audio and vision very good

The food in the restaurant was very good. The performance in the theater was great! However, the restaurant is no longer open during the break and at the end. We found this to be very bad! It's a shame, the restaurant lost a lot as a result.

The theater itself is good, but what really bothers me is that the wheelchair toilet is not locked with a Euro key. It is constantly occupied by people who do not need it. So those who need the extra space and holders have to wait, which can very quickly result in incontinence. This is completely unacceptable. There may not be enough other toilets. I can not judge over this. But that can't be the problem of wheelchair users. We already have enough problems. Installing a Euro-Key lock would be a really simple solution. It was also reported to Theater 11, but there was no response. A pity.

I find it uncool that you are forced to hand over your bags (for money!!).

Cool theater. But their bag policy sucks. They don't allow to take bags inside and force you to pay for the wardrobe. If such a policy is in place, you should provide an option which is free.

Unfriendly staff that gossiped about each other and simply took advantage of their own position of power to not let us in.

We went to see the musical “The Lion King” and it was fascinating! Great!

Theater 11 always has a great program! Very nice theater hall with comfortable seats with an excellent view of the stage. Good ventilation. Friendly, helpful staff. Gastronomy very good. Always happy to come back!

Good location, too few toilets.

Too hot. Too crowded. Some only accept cash.

The music King of the Lions was great. The beautiful masks and dresses are so great, the whole music is just so great. Also the actors and the background. I can recommend it to everyone. You forget about time and you're in another beautiful world.

The Lion King Musical blew me away! Was a great experience.

As is so often the case these days, the foyer is dark and cold. It's a little more comfortable in the theater hall, but the ventilation from floor ducts constantly blows into your face. Seats were uncomfortable. On the subject of Lion King: 100% playback... the artists only move their mouths when speaking and singing, but I can somehow understand that given their physical performance.

Imposing hall in a good location. Lines were very long during the break, both at the toilet and at the kiosks. The staff is not overly motivated. But it’s a great location for a musical!

The Lion King musical was great and the location was great too. If you would like to eat in the attached restaurant before the performance, you should make a reservation there.

My husband and I went to see The Lion King. It was a GREAT experience! We got row 8 seats which were quite pricey but ever so worth it since we were able to see and experience everything including the facial expressions of the cast as well lol! You can buy snacks from this place too. There’s also a place to store your coats/bags as well (CHF 3 per item). Overall a marvellous experience and the show was phenomenal! EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCTION!

Unique ambience at the Lion King🌻!

Staff very friendly. Drinks and food selection tip top. We sat on the balcony, good view of the stage. The seats are small, the backrest is not high and the leg rest is very narrow.

Seat pitch is narrower than on a budget airline. I don't want to imagine what happens in the event of an alarm or panic. Before the performance and during the break, at least 50 women stood in line in front of the toilet,

Nice, not too big theater. The Lion King was the Oberhammer. 🩷 Parking and snack situation not the best.

Infrastructure, parking, restaurant and sanitary facilities are top. Staff friendly and helpful. 2 wheelchair spaces need improvement (The outermost seat on either side of the 3rd row should be moved to row 5)!

Perfect place for musicals/representations etc

I had been years ago for a show with my daughter and I had a good time. This year we received the Christmas gift of tickets to The Lion King. What a show, wonderful from every point of view. Protagonists, scenography, music. I'm disabled and they made a space next to the seats for wheelchairs! Optimal. Truly fantastic, don't miss it. I think a child needs to be around eight years old to start appreciating. We are over 60 and 70, but we would happily go back. Congratulations for everything.

I'm currently in theater 11 with my 188 cm height, horror, like a children's cinema, no legroom😡, very, very narrow. A pity

Nice location with a pleasant atmosphere

Very (too) hot in the room, very little room to stretch your legs and very average sound. Feeling like you're in a low-cost theater.

2024 Year and Theater from 80’ in Zurich, Switzerland ( one if the best countries in the world) The Lion King show is amazing but the Theater is terrible - Not any kind food offerings. a Cold pretzel and hot cheese pie. - The balcony area is a Sauna. Not air circulating and xtreme warm. -You can not save your drinks in the seats. - Not space between rows

You have to experience the Lion King!

The Lion King...beautiful, lively, colorful performance. The theater is easy to reach by train or car. I can only recommend it, if you are traveling by car you should allow enough time.

The musicals are great. It's just a shame that the restaurant has a pretty monotonous menu and, above all, there's hardly any space and there's almost nothing to eat in the foyer.

Very nice, well-kept theater, but unfortunately there were staff at the buffet who preferred to talk to each other instead of serving the column.

I really liked the German version of Hexen hexen

The musical “The Lion King” was beautiful and recommended to everyone, even those who are not musical lovers. Theater 11 has a very nice hall, comfortable chairs and you feel comfortable. However, in the restaurant that we visited before the performance, there was a lot of chaos, drinks were forgotten, and service took a long time after you had sat down. It's almost too small for so many people. Overall it was great.

One of the theaters in Zurich. The cost of tickets depends on where you want and can pay. I went to see the Lion King 🦁 very nice staging, and animated. Inside the Theater they sell drinks of all kinds and something small to eat (snacks). It caught my attention that, as soon as they lowered the curtain, they applauded a little and the majority of the audience left in a hurry, the live music had not yet finished and half the Theater was already outside in line to get their coats.🤔🫢😐🤨me It seemed a bit disrespectful for the artists, especially for the band of musicians. Hmm, I do not know. In my culture, the audience applauds and applauds again and until the music stops, no one moves from their seats.

Ideal room layout, allowing a perfect view of the stage. Service at the bar-restaurant impeccable and smiling, efficient and proactive!

Extremely unfriendly staff (resturant). Urging you to leave your seat immediately during the break. Although you still have enough time. They didn't even make it clear to people with walking difficulties that they had a little longer. I'll never go there again.

Great theater for beautiful moments. Today I watched “The Lion King”. Seats have enough space for 190cm tall spectators and are quite comfortable for 2 hours. Everything runs in an orderly manner and coordination is quite good. Toilet for men is ok, for women you have to wait a long time. Otherwise, I always enjoy coming here and watching current musicals. We see each other soon

Apart from the good show, the hall is more like a cinema (there is more space in the cinema) and the crew on site is stricter at the entrance than that of the national bank. The show and the artists are worth the money, but completely overpriced for the location and the lousy service. we don't have to have it again.

The first musical that really impressed me here: Lion King in January 2024. I didn't even feel the seating being too narrow for me because of my fascination with the lighting and stage design, the excellent acting performances and the whole performance in general. I would also like to mention the two percussionists left and right of the stage, whose calmness while working completely fascinated me. Bravo❣️🌹🌹🌹

Great place, nice musical (Lion King). We give 5 stars for the musical. The organization is worth 1 star. The length of the breaks was not announced, there was too little food and drink at the stalls and generally too few toilets. Sales staff was chaotic and haphazard.

We got to see a great screening of Lion King. Good seating, friendly staff in the restaurant. Despite the long queues at the toilets, it went quickly because there are many.

Top location not just for musicals

Offers great entertainment and also a very good atmosphere. Only the prices of drinks and food are set very high. There is also no aisle between the rows of seats where you can change sides.

Everything worked. Friendly staff at the cloakroom. The usher could be a little friendlier. On the admission ticket it says large parquet in the middle and very small above it says “entrance parquet on the left”. If you ask, you could point it out a little more politely and not ask if you can read. The prices are usual for Switzerland. The performance was great!! All in all, we would love to come back.

I would like to praise the staff at the bar and the cloakroom. There are hardly any waiting times at the cloakroom after the performance. I just don't like the two toilets.

Nice theater with comfortable seating. Good organization. The toilets are a bit limited: during the break there is a long queue and it is possible that you won't have time to use them. Good cleaning in general, good cloakroom service. Easily reachable by public transport.

Extremely well located and easy to reach! We were there to see the Lion King, and we liked the venue very much. The theatre is spacious and modern with a good acoustic. Ideal for musicals.

Really nice, unfortunately the seats are very close to the front and probably very uncomfortable for taller people. Other than that, really great. You have a good view of the stage from everywhere.

Very good theater. The seats are comfortable. The only negative point is that the rows are narrow so not much room for the legs. Otherwise there is parking nearby which is very good and free from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Average theatre for seeing a musical; seats were comfortable and decent concessions, but acoustics were not great (and we had well located seats in the auditorium) and typical complaint for event spaces of insufficient # of bathrooms for the quantity of people attending

My daughter gave me The Lion King. Wow, wow, wow. I'm very excited. Would go again immediately. I think the whole implementation is awesome. The actors are very diverse. In addition to impressive singing, they are also puppeteers. I don't want to spoil any more. Go and see for yourself.

This place is very convenient to reach as it is directly opposite to the Tram 11 stop. If you are ok to sit alone then check for single seats while booking the show tickets. You may get great seats at a very low price.

Great acoustics, tight seating for taller people with longer legs

The theater itself is very nice, not that huge. The hall and the toilets were very clean. The gastronomic offering is rather narrow and absolutely overpriced. Water that costs no more than 1.20 chf to purchase should now be worth 6 chf. I recommend taking a drink with you.
