Avoid in groups. Table of 12, reserved menus 1 week in advance: 1 hour wait for the starter, 1 hour wait between the starter and the main course. Don't discard the drinks as you go and we had to ask 3 times in a row to have carafes of water, without glasses.... food ok but much too expensive for the quality presented....

Disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow and disorganized, with servers appearing to discover their own ordering system. The quality of the food did not make up for the long wait.

We went there on a Saturday evening, reservation required. The place is small but warm and friendly. The food is very good and the color of the West Indies is there. The Blancmange was excellent and the selection of rum, let's not talk about it. The waitress was also very friendly. In short... an excellent address to remember. We will come back for a zouk evening because there is no place in the region to zouk!!!!

I am from Reunion I really invite you to go and eat in this restaurant, clean, good atmosphere, the waitress is great, the cuisine is great, really nothing to say, I ate like 4 with my daughter, it feels good to rediscover the flavors of Reunion, also to rediscover some generous people from my origin, great discussions with the waitress. Hello, we should tell the servers not to make choices for customers. Example: I ordered fries and received sweet potato fries because they were out of fries. They should have informed me that they were out of fries and asked me what I wanted instead. Another example: I ask the waiter if they have a white agricultural rum, he doesn't know, he goes to find out and 15 minutes later I receive a brown agricultural rum (instead of "no, we don't have any" ). Otherwise, everything else was perfect. We look forward to coming back.

Everything is excellent, food, atmosphere, service also the waiters are very pleasant, give strong advice and are smiling, just a lot of waiting when we arrived which was less pleasant

A particularly unpleasant and vulgar waitress who allows herself to be informal to us and who does not hesitate to try to constrain our choices. The meal was good, original and rather substantial. However, we had to wait more than 30 minutes to get the bill despite my three requests. The atmosphere of the restaurant is extremely noisy, a very nice decoration but which is quickly forgotten with the escapades of the waitress and the noise level so high that we can barely hear ourselves at the table.

Great atmosphere in this West Indian restaurant, however, being West Indian myself, I did not find the authenticity of our dishes. For several months the quality of the dishes at Ti Kréyol has been at half mast. While perhaps a year ago I was very surprised to find good West Indian dishes in Switzerland, I find that the quality has greatly declined in recent times. The planter no longer tastes as good, with guava juice that seems to have changed brands. Furthermore, I find it strange to offer fries as an accompaniment to dishes that are always served with rice in the West Indies. This greatly spoils the authenticity of the dishes. The accras, which for a while were too greasy, have become dry. The chicken colombo doesn't taste like it, and with so little sauce that you're close to choking. The atmosphere is good despite this, the service friendly and dynamic, but really disappointed with the dishes which do not seem to be prepared by West Indians or real connoisseurs of this cuisine. It's a shame because I loved this restaurant!

A very good address in Lausanne if you want to enjoy West Indian cuisine, its famous Bokit (a sort of West Indian kebab but much tastier) and above all good cocktails with rum.agricole (not Havana club, that is! ;)) . After discovering their food truck during the Preverenges festival then at Paleo, I really enjoyed it with family or friends every time I visit Ti Kreyol! Originally from Guadeloupe and a fan of my good cuisine, I often visit West Indian restaurants in Europe but this one in Lausanne is a sure bet! My favorites: homemade cod acras, sweet potato fries, earthy trio bokits, chatrou fricassee. All accompanied by a good passion fruit Mojito, homemade planter and a Mango's cocktail!! The perfect evening ;-) Only one downside to this very colorful picture: they don't yet have ice cream on the dessert menu!! A must to get the maximum points!. Hoping to find mango, coconut, maracudja and rum raisin/Jamaica ice creams on my next visit ;-)

Everything was excellent. A friendly and warm atmosphere. The tropical rose and balata cocktails are very good. The Rougail sausage, a real treat. The fragrant rice sides and delicious baked sweet potatoes. As for the little sweet touch to finish the meal, the bokit bite has a “come back” taste. I will come back with pleasure!! A great discovery in Lausanne!

From start to finish, we were delighted by the flavors that took us on a journey. Everything was very good, both the drinks (with or without alcohol) as well as the food. We tried other things than the classic Bokits. Good service and nice atmosphere. To do again.

Having lived in the Caribbean, I was left wanting for the very bland flavors of the dishes, served without vegetables. Well done to the charming young waitress who is starting out. Music too present even though the restaurant was empty. It was a first but I don't think I'll come back.

Yesterday with my friend, we had the pleasure of tasting the mini bokits (special mention for the chatrou-octopus on the sea side and the chicken on the land side) as well as the delicious cocktails offered by Ti Kréyol. One word: I.N.C.R.O.Y.A.B.L.E! The dishes, the cocktails, the energy of the team, the atmosphere, everything came together to have a great evening! It is certain that I will come back to enjoy all these flavors on a future occasion. Thank you for this trip home!! The Caribbean has talent 😌

For West Indians, get out of Paris to discover a nice restaurant in Lausanne with good cocktails, a warm and professional welcome, great taste updates (hummus) and a great DJ atmosphere... We have fond memories of our visit and as soon as the opportunity presents itself we will come back!

Finally a restaurant bar for zouking and eating West Indian… The atmosphere is friendly and the service is top notch. The cocktails are good, not sweet enough for me but that's a question of taste and there is a large choice in the Ruhms, both white and brown. The kitchen offers bokits which are good and large. I recommend this place

Very nice place with Creole flavors and atmosphere. Wide choice of quality rum at affordable prices. We tried several dishes and they were good discoveries. I recommend you to try this restaurant. On the other hand, it is better to book, we went on a Thursday evening and it was packed. Despite all the kindness of the two employees there was a long wait.

I wasn't in the bar, I lived in the house next to it for a week, so I went in front of the bar every day.

A warm place in a Creole atmosphere. Caribbean specialties are revisited with quality ingredients. The bokit bread is successful and is not saturated with oil. The prices are felt and we are far from the Bokit whose price is traditionally accessible, but they are delicious. The chatrou is also excellent. The waitresses are also warm, lively and attentive.

Good adaptability for dietary restrictions. Didn't really like the octopus. On the other hand, nice cocktails. Please note that the evening menu is much more detailed than during the lunch service. Only suitable as a take away on Friday at 7:30 p.m. if you are in a hurry. Even though the shop was only about 30% full, I had to wait about 30 minutes for my two items. A third item was no longer available. The food was good and the service tried hard to be friendly. The ambience was characterized by Creole music and the interior was beautifully decorated.

Warm welcome, super smiling and friendly waitresses, great atmosphere and decor and above all great food and all at a very reasonable price. I recommend.

So disappointed...I bought two bokits last night I was so excited to eat them and show my brother because it was the first time for him but what a disaster...a large piece of chicken that was still pink, not cooked and large pieces of barely cooked chicken flesh alone in the sandwich, I couldn't hold back I vomited...yet what surprises me is that I was a very regular customer when they were at Gray and the boss or employees made them really good, a real delight! A massacre! And I came back last night for the first time in this new place and what a disappointment...not the same thing at all. I never write particularly negative comments but I vomited and it takes a lot for me to vomit... really a shame... For my brother the same opinion... I hope that the cook last night will take this into account notice and will pay more attention. I still wish them good luck!

We had the Cod Acras as a starter which I particularly recommend! For main dishes, the chatrou (octopus fricassee) as well as the pork ribs with hibiscus were very good! The accompaniments were also very successful. The service nothing to complain about, the servers are friendly and friendly. It was a first and we are thinking of returning there, in particular, to taste the famous Bokits.

The bokits were delicious and a good size, the only downside was that the cod accras lacked spice and pepper for a West Indian from Guadeloupe and Martinique.

We had an excellent evening in this restaurant and we discovered new flavors. The waiter was really funny even if we didn't understand everything he said to us 😅 The dishes are of very good quality, and we find the Creole flavors well. The decoration is really pretty, it’s an address we will happily return to. If we remove the rice and beans, sold extra for 5.-, the chicken thigh... Relatively ordinary, costs 30.-. Excluding prices for the quality of service and the location. On the menu of the palace brasserie "Duck leg confit, sautéed potatoes, mushrooms and raspberries" for 32.-, Accompanied by a friend who chose the octopus fricassee (34) with rice and beans (5) and who didn't find much interest in it either, not to mention the size of the rather "tapas" dish. In short, the expectation far exceeded the result. You should try the bokits in my opinion but in terms of dishes it's average and way too expensive. Ah, small note for the service, although pleasant, very slow service, did not know the dishes or the cocktails..(because she did not taste them) It's a shame!

A killing these bokits! So difficult to choose between the Quelle Histwa (with chicken), the Gosier (with minced meat) and the Gwada (with cod) that we took all 3 😂😂😂. For lunch, I had the Quelle Histwa (chicken), it seemed to me that it was even better than last time 😍. The meat was tender thanks to a lemon juice marinade.

We discovered this restaurant by chance in Lausanne, the dishes are incredible. It was a very good experience. However, the dishes take time to be served but it is worth the detour because the cook takes the time to prepare good dishes.
