Friendly service, good advice Large selection of wines

Many specialties of various spirits which fortunately differ from the mass products. There are also 2 or 3 appealing culinary products on offer there.

Excellent Enoteca with an extraordinary choice of wines and other alcohols. Excellent knowledge of Ticino wines and certainly other wine regions.

If you don't look like you have a lot of money, you will be treated in a correspondingly condescending manner. It's a shame about the nice selection.

Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. The advice is professional and the choice of wines, spirits and liqueurs is excellent.

Very disappointed. Went in looking for a nice white merlot from the Ticono region. Already went in with the idea of buying the Terre Alte (same wine from our wedding!) The shop keeper strongly recommended we go with another white merlot from the regio which he said was much better - more expensive - we said as we wanted to buy 6 bottles we wanted to try it first. He said we would have to buy a bottle to sample it. So we decided to purchase one bottle to try - good thing we did, it was horrible! We then tried our original choice - again we had to buy a bottle to sample - but it was exactly what we wanted. We decided to go with the Terre Alte and take 7 bottles (including the one we opened to try) + 7 other bottles of another wine... we kindly asked that the shop keeper keep his suggested bottle given that we were purchasing so much (and it was a terrible suggestion). He said no and that we had to pay it all... we did - but will definitely not go back. I am all for supporting small business but not when I feel taken advantage of...if you are going to make a suggestion make sure it is a good one and given that we spent over 300 CHF the right thing to do would have been to make a small gesture and fix the mistake.
