Magnificent view, friendly welcome and delicious food

Lunch with the VG menu in 4 courses: a treat! It was good, ideal in terms of proportions and the service was top notch! We'll come back. And what a view!

Extraordinary ! Not much to add! We went there several times, for my birthday, a wedding and at the table d'hôtes, and really, there is absolutely nothing to say, everything was splendid, from the service to the cuisine, obviously including the dishes just spectacularly good! I highly recommend it.

Senses in turmoil. Inspiration on a plate and all in an explosion of flavors. Reasonably priced for a high-level dining experience. Take the detour but book before... We were lucky😁

We arrived with high expectations but were left disappointed. Atmosphere and service a little cold, cuisine not very special (the risotto was not well done). But the most disappointing thing was to see one of the cooks snacking throughout the evening (not very pleasant given the kitchen open to the restaurant), at times a little disgusting...

Fine dining, lunch at reasonable prices. I can't say anything about the evening. The service sometimes took a while. But everything was freshly prepared and warm. Very nice place to sit on the terrace with a view over Lake Geneva. The menu changes.

This restaurant is located in the heights of Lavaux and benefits from a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva. The food is always excellent and I speak as an expert because I go there regularly. I always take the 4-course menu accompanied by the food and wine pairing. They change the menu regularly and if I go back before it changes they always manage to put together a different menu for me. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality served. The staff is very welcoming and welcomes me warmly every time. In terms of value for money, it's certainly the best restaurant in the region and I love going back there frequently. Simply well done.

Place with a truly suggestive view. We tried the 3 course menu at 75chf, which I found very interesting. The preparations of the dishes are beautiful and the combinations are interesting. Apart from the combination of sorbet with savory, I found the dishes very balanced and tasty. I really enjoyed the meat and the small entrees. Ideal for a suggestive lunch. I will definitely return.

It cost you CHF 70++ but worth eat with the view and ambience, experiencing eating in the kitchen watching the whole process, feels like home

Can be good for company or group meals but not for a romantic dinner. We came to celebrate a great event as a couple and we were very disappointed. Nothing special on our plate, canteen atmosphere and casual service. For the price there is much better in the region! We will not come back. Too bad given the good comments we were expecting a great experience.

STUNNED BY SO MANY QUALITIES! rush to the Tout UN MONDE restaurant, haute cuisine at a low price, great cuisine at a reasonable price... it's not that common, what's more in the most touristy region (Le Lavaux) with a breathtaking view. But it's your plate that will make you speechless and speechless; everything is there, originality, delicate flavors, balanced combinations, refined presentation (the bread balanced on a tree branch!)... I don't have enough words to praise such a success!

Where to start; the location is absolutely magical, a breathtaking view! The service is really very pleasant, the waiters are very helpful and how can we not talk about the artists of the kitchen! Really delicious! Small downsides on the furniture (exterior in any case) which does not live up to what this restaurant offers us! I recommend

We ate yesterday for the first time at the restaurant <Tout un monde> in Grandvaux and we had a wonderful evening. Everything was perfect. The setting, the welcome, the kindness of the staff and the quality of the cuisine offered. Everything was just right, the cooking, the seasonings, the taste combinations, etc. Truly a treat. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and after saying it during a conversation with a waiter at the end of the meal, a little special attention was given to us. We will return and recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Thank you !

Unpleasant service! never seen before, they don't even look you in the eyes to refuse you a coffee at 5 p.m. on their terrace... it's sad

Stopped in midway through a hike from Lavaux to Cully on a very hot day. Had the Caesar salad (with their own touches) and my son had salmon from the kids menu. Firstly, the waiter was incredibly nice, friendly but professional and attentive. The view is stunning and worth stopping for a drink at least - we were saving ourselves for Lavaux wine later so just had cola, which was local Swiss (zero sugar) which was a nice touch. The salad was small but actually all we needed, very well balanced ingredients so we felt full but not over-full for our remaining hike. The kids Salmon was a nice mix of ingredients and perfectly cooked. Definitely a perfect resting point during our walk.

What a great experience! Very pleasant welcome and service, we enjoyed very good cuisine, original and tasty, in an idyllic setting and discovered excellent wines. We are already looking forward to returning to these places and thank all the staff both in the kitchen and in the service!

Unbeatable view. Incredibly pleasant to spend an afternoon here, enjoying the view and indulging in great food. I assume its nicest during the day. I had fish and my partner had chicken, they were both great. There r some steep roads here so easiest to get there with a car.

The setting is simply magnificent, one of the most beautiful terraces in Lavaux, and a cuisine to match. We had the 6-course surprise menu. Simply delicious from start to finish, with attentive service that follows, although we have 4-5 different servers. A fine selection of wines from the region

The food from the main menu was great! Especially loved the duck and the apricot dessert. Taking one star off for the unbalanced burger from kids menu (pros they have kids menu, cons the dish itself): it was just meat with a few chips and sauce. yes, every ingredient was good, but !!! Where are the grains? Veggies? Sides? A few chips doesn’t count as sides. Or at least buns. I can hardly imagine a kids liking that dish. Needless to say that it is unbalanced and not super healthy. By the way, they don’t offer sides, so it is supposed to be the final dish.

Lunch was brilliant in a scenic setting at Tout un Monde, Grandvaux. Had a risotto starter, rabbit main and the granny smith apple dessert. Staff was informative and provided good recommendations throughout the meal. Local wines paired greatly with the food. Highly recommended.

We went there three times before choosing this restaurant for our wedding! And as we expected it was magical, like always! The cuisine is inventive and local, as are the wines - only from the region, perfect! - the excellent service without overdoing it and the lovely staff. Breathtaking life and rather affordable prices considering the quality. We returned there with our "wedding team" afterwards, eating at the table d'hôtes (in the kitchen). Simply brilliant.

Not up to our expectations, Disappointing experience..

No salad as a starter, too bad. The Zurich veal slice was more of a veal escalope and not a Zurich escalope. The roesti was burnt. The mushrooms came from the box. Coffee is served with biscuits at all tables except ours. The local wine at CHF 8.00 per dl is a bit expensive.

In winter, no terrace, but cozy room with a view of the kitchen. We were surprised by the 4-course confidence menu. Food varied and well presented, but sometimes a little lukewarm. Possibility of pairing food and wine which makes the tasting really interesting. Impeccable service.

We highly recommend this establishment: the welcome is cheerful, the service is professional, the staff is caring, very friendly. The dishes are delicate, delicious and unexpected from start to finish!!! The view is as extraordinary as our dinner was pleasant: the best of the best!! Well done to the whole team and we look forward to coming back in January 2023!

We invited our friends for dinner at this restaurant because the reviews were very good. On a 4-course menu, the fish and game were tasty and well presented, however the starter, a venison terrine really not great tasting, accompanied by a scoop of ice cream, served in the form of a sandwich on a very hard piece of bread to cut. At dessert time, we were served a very heavy chocolate cake and frankly not good, the coffees were accompanied by a brownie of the same type as the dessert, heavy and not appreciated by anyone. Since it was a surprise menu, we trusted the sommelier to choose the wines to match the dishes, a failed bet, the wines offered did not enchant us. Regarding the service, it was not up to par, impersonal and not very professional. When I asked if I could order an infusion/herbal tea, the person replied that she didn't think it was possible, that she would find out. Then she came back and offered me either a mint tea or a verbena, which satisfied me. In summary, we felt sorry for our friends at the restaurant, fortunately the magnificent view from the terrace partially rewarded the trip.

Go there for the view, for the wines, but especially not to eat. On the plate, you will mainly have garnishes. The meat will be well cooked, but bland, unseasoned and in tasting quantity. Extremely expensive for what it is. In short, bourgeois and pretentious welcome. If you are a bon vivant, go your way, you will be disappointed and you will be hungry when you leave.

Three good reasons to come and eat on this (magnificent) terrace: 1) The view of the vineyards 2) The view of Lake Geneva 3) The view of the Alps. I’m still looking for the fourth… And my words to explain it in nuance and without sounding like a foul-mouthed gastro-sniper. But how can we evoke the tepid disappointment of having eaten very expensively, but not really had a good meal, other than by remembering this limp frustration which can follow a banal orgasm for which we had invested a lot? It's difficult to ignore, however, the apparent sympathy of the welcome, even if we are surprised by a bistro service in this appearance of luxury. It's difficult not to recognize the quality of the ingredients and not to imagine the sweat in the kitchen, even if the taste buds find it difficult to regale with the eyes which feast on the landscape... Like the reality of the plate with the ostentation of the description of the menu (full of puns that only happen at the bar, with friends after a few drinks). But hey, there are enough laudatory comments above mine (and certainly later below) for me not to feel too guilty about expressing an opinion (constructive, yes) which, in addition to not being than mine, concerns only two dishes tasted “Vitelo férato Lémanique”, “Grilled sea bream fillet and clams”. Oh yes ! I almost forgot, the Chardonnay was delicious.

We had received a gift voucher from lovers and we were able to enjoy it on Wednesday evening. Although we came on a weekday evening, the restaurant was full. It is therefore essential to reserve your table before your visit, at least during the high season which is summer. We were well received, a beautiful table awaited us. The menu started with a glass of Laurent-Perrier champagne, a delight. Then we were treated to a delicious appetizer and the meal could begin. A fish starter, a fish main course, a meat main course and dessert (see photos). Perfect combination of a delicious meal and a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva! A magical moment with a magnificent sunset as a bonus. I recommend stopping there if you are in the area. In any case, we will come back, even if it's for a drink or an ice cream, it's so calming!

The aioli... A killer! Fish and vegetables cooked to perfection! The sauce like in my childhood memory. Grilled sea bream with pressed pdt in olive oil, lemon sauce, broad beans, clams just as sublime. Welcoming and attentive staff. As for the panorama, you can't do better. I highly recommend.

The setting is superb. Unfortunately we were received in a manner that was absolutely not up to the standard of the establishment... Reservation for 6:30 p.m.... Impossible to have 5 minutes in advance otherwise the response would be "well we're eating... ", then when we ask if we can have a table in the shade (the restaurant was empty) the waiter says "ho lala, we're off to a good start...". Needless to say, we finished our drink and went elsewhere for dinner. There are other restaurants in the region that are much more welcoming...

We made a reservation and came early but got a table without view. Perhaps it was this position of the table, in the corner, that the service was not attentive. The dishes were beautifully presented, however the quality wasn‘t the same (meat and fish overcooked, main dish was served only lukewarm, little seasoned and salt and pepper on the table was missing)

Beautiful landscape. Disappointing value for money. 6 chf for an espresso and 9 chf for a bottle of filtered water, bordering on scamming. I won't go back.

Scandalous welcome, the waiters don't even listen, refuse to serve us and leave before we can even finish asking our question! We clearly understand that they don't need customers and therefore allow themselves to behave in a dishonest way.

Had a wonderful evening, on the terrace with a splendid view, the menu we can trust, service a little "under stress", but absolutely excused because the terrace is 100% complete. A perfectly composed menu with delicious flavors. A big compliment to the food and service. And to use restaurant language: The move is worth it.

Be Careful!! We booked CONFIANCE menu, our plan was to drink just a couple of glasses of wine, but the waiter told us 3 glasses per person were already in the menu without extra cost. They end up charging 26chf per person.

Great place with the best view over the lake, where you can appreciate all Lavaux vineyards. You can also seat outside on the terrace to enjoy the view. The service is very nice and quick with so many options to drink and eat.

A magnificent culinary experience. We ordered the 4-course menu, as we were not wine connoisseurs the waiter offered us a selection compatible with the menus. It’s wine that explodes in the mouth with food. Everything was perfect, however the desserts are not their specialty, however it remains delicious. The place was peaceful with a breathtaking view of the lake. There was a surplus of light for my liking which slightly spoiled our view, otherwise everything was perfect. I would like to thank the Tout un Monde team for this culinary experience. The entire menu and all menus are available gluten-free, lactose-free and any other intolerance. I recommend this place with 5 stars!

Superb view and refined cuisine With family at the “Tout un monde…” restaurant for my daughter’s civil wedding. With a superb view from one of the most beautiful terraces in all of Lavaux, the welcome and service was warm and efficient for a succulent meal full of surprises. The chef works with excellent products, the cooking is perfect as well as the flavors and the dishes are also devoured by the eyes. A big thank-you.
