Had to reduce my rating. During the afternoon they are so stressed that they can no longer be friendly. I'm here 3 times every week. Today there was practically no sauce on my pastas. When I asked politely if I could have some more sauce, I had to listen to the chefs telling me that I had to order extra sauce. However, I can compare it because I've been here 50 times and I don't feel like eating pasta with nothing. Chefs should learn some decorum.

This time I had various filled vegetarian ravioli with sage butter. No frills, large portions, reasonable price for the location and freshness. Super tasty and really fresh. Perfect, central and easy to find place to meet up. Very friendly service. Refreshing concept, uncomplicated, simple, good. The upper floor is more comfortable than downstairs. I'm there on almost every visit to Zurich and have never been disappointed!

Delicious fresh pasta cooked right in front of you, very generous helpings, and great flavor in the sauces. The place is kinda small and busy but worth it if you want some good food. Friendly staff and nice to see your food made right there.

Mostly positive: informal Italian eatery. Also has fruit basics at supermarket prices. The big negative: very thin minestrone, not much sustenance for 12 CHF. Seemed like 400 ml broth, 100 ml beans and potatoes.

The best pasta in Zurich. I ate the ricotta and spinach ravioli, both butter and sage and Bolognese, delicious. For pasta lovers a place to go. They also have delicious fresh fruit extracts. Top quality/price.

I have now given Tschingg Restaurant 3 chances. The pasta is overcooked every time. I had to eat the pasta with a spoon because the pasta fell apart on the fork. The sauce was delicious

Perfect when things have to go quickly! Possible on site or take away (but you have to pay an extra CHF 2.50 for the plate on site). Pasta is good and ready quickly! The staff is very friendly and you can also sit comfortably in front of the restaurant.

I was there with 6 colleagues about 25 minutes before the end of opening hours. We were warmly welcomed and well served. Everything perfect. Nice little place. Gladly again. I didn't know it before.

Delicious pasta, generous portions, fast service, fair prices. It's a shame and disappointing that even when eating in the restaurant, the food is served in disposable dishes, unless you pay an extra charge.

Good pasta dishes to take away too, perfect for a quick lunch or evening snack. I had the regular portion rather than the small portion and it was very large. The price-performance ratio is good.

We tried 2 types of pasta. It was over boiled and the sauce was too oily. Not a bad place for a quick lunch. We paid 40 CHF with 2 beers.

Restaurant "Tschingg" Come and try! In the Italian restaurant Tschingg you will find different versions of ravioli with different sauces and other translations. Thick pizza is rarely found in Zurich. Here you can buy ice cream, dessert and other products directly from Italy.

Tasty pasta and great quality for the price

We ordered carbonara, and it was insanely spicy. There's no mention of that on the menu. We asked to have it changed, but they refused, saying that the sauce has pepper and the carbonara is always spicy. We asked for a refund. The money was returned.

Make this a cool pasta shop - not a pseudo restaurant. Turn the menu boards back on and cook honestly and well. No matter how much catering experience some employees have, stick to honest, fine and top pasta - just like in the good old days!!

Had to swap my 5 Pi with my daughter's carbonara...The carbonara didn't really taste like a carbonara. Too much egg in it, egg flavor too dominant. Tip: I would rethink and adapt the recipe. The 5P sauce, however, was very good.

Food was ok. BUT if you want to eat the food in normal reusable plates and not in the disposable packaging, then you pay extra. Unfortunately, this is going in exactly the wrong direction when it comes to sustainability and should actually be the other way around.

Tschingg has an amazing selection of hand-made pastas and sauces. We entered late toward close and they greeted us with open arms! Offered a translated menu. We got 2 small orders of pasta to-go. When we were leaving the ownership gave us a complimentary gift bag of sauces and penne pasta. Prices are great! Portions are big! Highly recommend Tschingg when in old town Zurich!

Simply great...very good coffee, friendly and competent staff...I was able to pay with 100 notes without any trouble and to my delight I got a gift (pasta with a jar of sauce). They gave me a great start to the day made possible...Thank you and 100% recommended

Fast Food+ Italian. The plus refers to the possibility of having the food served on plates and with cutlery. Modern, trendy, value for money. However, the offer is greatly reduced. Toilets are extremely clean, Covid-19 measures such as certificate verification are being implemented.

Prices acceptable for Zurich, very tasty and quick food, portions could be a little larger.

If you want to go a little over budget, you can stop by during your lunch break, for example. You can get your food in less than 5 minutes and it is served in a take-away box, meaning you can also eat on the way.

Prices have been rising sharply for years, and in some cases you get the same amount of penne for the cost of a large portion as you would in a small one. Parmesan very cheap, if parmesan at all... The “Tschinggen” should know better! Penne, however, al dente, 2 stars for that!

I visited the place based on its reputation and ordered two types of pasta Flavored with their special pesto and pasta They're all pretty good, but without any protein It means boiling pasta, mixing it in the sauce, and that's it With a box of moya, their cost is 28 francs

I was there this afternoon and ordered the pasta al pesto. These were ready in no time, but were so incredibly dry that they were simply inedible. It's a shame, I hate throwing food away, but this was really bad. Never again.

Prices to high for what you get but the food is good

Love it! They are my favourite pasta shop. You always get your food real quick and the pasta are just mmmhhh…! Honestly try it out they got multiple great sauces to choose!

Penne are averagely good but the prices are way too expensive. They get expensive every year. Outrageous
