Twiny Station in Luzern

By chance I walked past it when I was hungry and ordered the vegan schnitzel sandwich. I didn't expect it to actually taste so good. 1a!

I have a gluten allergy and the employees were happy to direct me to get bread from a nearby grocery and bring it back. I was then able to get 2 sandwiches from the loaf I bought and wasn’t charged for the bread. Absolutely amazing service and great food!

I think the reviews are a bit overrated. It's just an ordinary sandwich. It's not bad, but it's not worth going around to buy. Ordered the signature chicken steak sandwich. Although there are a variety of sauces to choose from on the menu, there are actually only two options: spicy or non-spicy; the fries are soft, so I don't recommend the fries.

Hidden gem! This definitely goes in the list of best sandwiches we have ever had . Went for the chicken schnitzel with garlic and chipèno. The baguette was fresh and soft and the filling was delicious. Cherry on the cake was the fantastic friendly service Won’t forget this meal for a long time.

My friend and I stumbled upon this shop and we were so glad we did! It was so delicious and a perfect quick lunch. Get the house cocktail sauce - it’s great.

Quick and delicious! If you are one or more you can share the fries. You can even get a large sized sandwich and share it with someone. I liked the chicken sandwich with garlic and curry sauce.

Literally a hole in the wall located in the old town. Surprisingly great sandwiches at very reasonable prices. The staff was very kind.

The sandwich was not bad but also didn’t seem worth the 4.8 stars it is at. The small sandwich costs 9chf and isn’t actually filling. It didn’t seem good enough to justify the price and reviews.

Intrigued by the high rating, I decided to make a run for it before it closes at 6.30pm. I have to say I was a tad disappointed with the sandwich. I ordered “the most popular flavour” as they have already kept the menu, and they also assumed the sauces I wanted, hence I didn’t get to choose anything, which is fine. The sandwich is basically filled with processed food, vegetables and sauces. Don’t get me wrong, it is quite tasty but imo I think the rating is way higher than it should be. Drop your expectations and you’ll enjoy the CHF 8.50 good size sandwich.

Great recommendation! For a cheap snack in downtown Lucerne. We ordered a baguette with chicken schnitzel. We were given the BBQ sauce as a recommendation. This is not your typical BBQ sauce. Still very, very tasty and a bit spicy.

Tried the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich with cocktail sauce. It was delicious especially the chicken, and exceeded my expectation. There was a long queue but it moved quite fast. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Lucerne.

Yup, I’m glad we stopped by here for a sandwich and it was delicious and priced right imo. I got the salami and I’d do it again. Paid 18 francs for two large sandwiches.

Key to good food is great fresh ingredients,. The sandwiches here aren't fancy but they taste really good. Bread, they make, lettuce is crunchy and fresh and all the other ingredients are simple but yummy.

The absolute best sandwich in town! My sister and I came into town looking for something quick and satisfying… and not only did we get that but we also got AMAZING customer service. It was so good we went back for dinner and the lady remembered us and provided travel Tips. 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

Sandwich with good taste but not containing any fresh food (frozen baguette, schnitzel made from reconstituted meat,...) so 12 euros hurts a bit but in any case impossible to find cheaper in Switzerland..

Love the vegan options here! I was not expecting to be able to eat schnitzel during my time in Switzerland so to find a place that had vegan schnitzel in a sandwich was so lovely. The sandwich had all the usual trimmings in this part of the world and it was so yummy. I’d get this again and the prices are so good for Switzerland.

The owner recommended BBQ + garlic sauce for chicken schnitzel, so I ate it. The sandwich was cost-effective and delicious! It was better because it came out quickly and I recommend it to those who can't afford the restaurant prices. I think the large size would be better for adult men and the small size for women. I paid by credit card.

Nicest woman we met in our weeks of travel in Switzerland! To the woman from Zurich who recommended we check out the national history museum... THANK YOU! We had an amazing time and you went above and beyond with 5 star customer service. You are going places with your top tier kindness and personality. We absolutely had to try the American dog which although I wouldn't consider a regular American hot dog, it was still delicious. I'm going to start using fresh french baguettes for hot dogs as they are typically better than the heavily processed buns in America. I will also be looking into importing condiments from overseas as the European ketchup for instance hits different; most likely due to less sugar and preservatives than American ketchup.

I rarely post reviews publicly, but this has to be the best and fastest sandwich place I’ve come across Switzerland. I ate 3 short sandwiches at once and didn’t feel bloated at all. You must try it!

This is one of the best take-away sandwiches/ Pannini’s I’ve had. The beauty of it was that it looked like a hole in the the wall sort of a place with the best ingredients and service. It was like a song on repeat. We couldn’t leave Lucerne without a meal at Twiny’s everyday. Love ‘em !

I ordered the sandwich with garlic sauce stuffed with chicken. The sauce was delicious, it tasted like real garlic. It made all the difference. They are very fast. The bread was very good. Soft and pleasant. Super good plan to buy something quick to eat and continue walking. It's a very good price for what it is.

If I could eat their sandwiches every day of my life, I would. The man is so incredibly nice and, if you're not Swiss, speaks English very well. He seems to appreciate if you ask in German if he speaks English. Their food is delicious and so fast that it's ready before you even pay. Prices are pretty good too. 2 schnitzel sandwiches and 2 drinks for 20CHf. Highly recommended.
