During the winter break of the Brienz shipping company there was a restaurant inside a docked ship. Very original idea... The service was very friendly and was able to provide good information about the dishes advertised! Dishes were delicious, there was nothing to complain about. The price is on the higher end, but it still deserves 5 stars!

I stopped in for lunch after spotting the boat from the train station. I believe the boat restaurant will be docked here until 26 March 2023 when tours resume. The restaurant staff were very kind and helpful in helping me order considering I only spoke english. I was offered a complimentary potato truffle espuma while waiting for my meal which was very good. My one complaint is the salad had rather a lot of dressing for my taste, but I've seen that is somewhat common from my travels.

We chose this restaurant as it has a broad range of cusines (Swiss cheese fondue, Asian fusion, sushi). Food was good. We sat inside due to the weather. Atmosphere admittedly not my cup of tea, with a huge TV on. However lovely and helpful waitstaff and cocktails seemed to be well appreciated!

Garden decor, well-spaced tables, attentive staff. The 8-course meal was an absolute delight. And with an extraordinary feature: absolutely ALL ingredients, fish, poultry, honey, fruit, vegetables, meat, come from the garden, the lake or orchards or farms located less than 50 km from the Victoria Jungfrau Hotel. A local, creative and absolutely delicious dinner! And the chef, Stefan Beer, comes in person to bring one of the dishes and explains each ingredient and cooking technique. A real plus!

My group did the chocolate-making workshop, and it was a blast! I learned interesting facts about the chocolate making process and got to make three delicious bars of my own (with add-ins available). The customer service was truly excellent and multi-lingual. (We spoke German, English, and Spanish with the staff.) My friend and I ordered flat whites that were delicious and sipped on them during the class.
