After having been to Urban Fork's sister restaurant "Fork & Bottle" we decided to give the Urban Fork a try as well. The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere and the food did not disappoint. I tried their "Wagyu Burger", which was not only very tasty, but nice and juicy. They also have a decent selection of beers, however it would be nice to have some US craft beers on the menu as well, especially since it is American owned and they serve American cuisine. But other than that - no complaints.

Nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The host was extemely friendly and fun to chat to. I had the vegetarian eggplant and Halloumi burger and wasn't so sure about it as eggplants are not my favorite veggies. Anyway, the eggplant was very soft and not rubbery as it can be and I really enjoyed my burger. So thank you for making me eat my veggies ;)

As some of you know we have been fans of the Fork and Bottle for years. Now the same team is bringing you Urban Fork in downtown Zurich. We went for the first time and loved the food and ambience. Not surprisingly the food and service were great. We went during the week but we heard from friends that the Sunday Brunch is fantastic. Hope to see you there soon!

I ordered an avocado smash with poached egg and they serve it right on top of a purposefully cracked wooden board.. as you can imagine, it was a disaster!! You can’t really eat poached eggs off the board! I asked them to change onto a plate because first of all it’s not hygienic and secondly not practical as all the egg yolk will seep thru the cracks!! I get it, boards are cool and trendy but not for poached eggs!! More disappointing was their reply to my complaint by saying that everything else is also on the board so we clean them properly.. overall, nice atmosphere but lacked pastry and good bread for breakfast (bread for avocado smash was hard as a rock). Maybe their other offerings are fine but the brunch was terrible!
